I am not fucking around with script and code. F5 refresh, might be useful. Save/load is as quick. The little disk icon, it is instant, a couple of clicks, miliseconds, if it was the latest MI it would've caught the Entity. Unlike the script loading errors on entry, and npc menu, and day ending. In fact it is horrible using f5 it has a loading icon. It is slow like entering the game. Slower.

I should actually test Ms. Dixon. I feel like most of the testing has been done on Stormchild since she is more useful mechanically. People have even started min-maxing certain stormchild stats because she's become predictable. But for the Dixon twin I've been relying on someone saying she has no specific wopos (63 or 93), but Watery Eyes restrict backgrounds to a specific range if I am reading it right.

I cannot get her to show up in Watery Eyes after multiple F5s. So it seems that while she has no specific $wopos, the code in Watery Eyes that restricts backgrounds for its NPCs ($aback -2 to 18) actively prevents the Dixon twin ($aback: -21) to show up in Watery Eyes. She's in Crystal Heights.
Stormchild is the only one who is in both auctions. My mistake on Ms. Dixon.

Why isn't there an option to process scrap metal into steel in the workshop? Seems an obvious thing to be able to do?
If you improve your workshop, you gain the option to turn scrap iron into steel when processing merchandise at the workshop, as well as C-Boards into gold.
Unfortunately you can't convert existing scrap and c-boards this way.
Currently, I'm trying to give Nicole the news reporter job. She has loving affection, and no current job, and I have far more than the cash needed to build the news room. But everytime I go to 'hopes and dreams', there's never any option for this job, as the Wiki claims there should be. Is this content bugged, or do I need something else to qualify?
Again. Stormchild is only at Crystal Heights immediately after a thunderstorm. She isn't at Crystal Heights unlike she is at Watery Eyes. I had a thunderstorm on day 2 of my game. I am unclear if I loaded that game or kept the day. I haven't had a thunderstorm again. Stormchild despite you geeks fucking with the code for answers, instead of simply testing. Simply testing. It's not fucking hard. Stormchild is not at Crystal Heights otherwise. Hundreds of loads. There are a few other girls who will not show on either. There's a tattoo kinda ugly on Crystal heights with scenes, there's a black girl on Watery Eyes with scenes both are unique and there might be more.
Stop arguing. You have mental problems. test it. refresh F5 spins the screen like when you start the game. It loads. Unlike the little disc icon hyperlink on the bottom of the screen. It has no load time it is instant, as quick as you can click. I have one save game and an auto save the rest are on disk. It is much quicker than f5. No screen loading.

What's her Willpower and Corruption level? If her Willpower is obliterated, she's not going to have hopes or dreams. If her Corruption is sky high, all she can think about is the next dick.
As I alluded to before, yes, complete Random NPCs can have restrictions on showing up on auctions. Some can only even ever show up after certain political events concluded. Numbers here correspond to their Av number in the AvRan folder.
It sounds like your browser or computer is slow at reloading a browser. It takes at worst a second to Control+R or F5 mine and I assume Zarkhy's too.
Thanks and a apology for going after you. But I had painstakingly tested it, hours loading on both markets to get a desire NPC stats and traits. There was incorrect information being given. I just wanted to explain it so there is no confusion.
My browser and computer aren't slow. How long does it take for the game to load from opening and clicking on the html file? 3 seconds give or take. Do you agree it has an icon where the disk rotates, it loads, spins? Obviously. No debate. F5 has the same icon, it loads, spins. When you load from the hyperlink, disk icon, bottom of the screen, save and load there is no delay, it is instant.
Troll more. Just accept it. It was obvious, and not my pc or my browser. Browser has cleared since prior reports in the topic. There's still a slight delay on the npc menu and in dockgrave, but I haven't had the same issues previously reported where it had a huge delay and I don't know why?

Yes, there is a spinning icon. For less than a second. I hardly think clicking the save icon to load a save takes less than a second. But whatever you are comfortable with. None of which is a legitimate reason to tell Zarkhy "You have mental problems."
Why does very high corruption stop Nicole from doing this job, if she's going to be promoting that kind of corrupt society anyway? Surely that would be an advantage, rather than an impediment. Nothing in the Wiki suggests that very high corruption is going to prevent Nicole from doing this job at all. If that's the case, surely it should say so there?
In the Wiki, it just says that Nicole will pursue an Authoritarian affiliation, if her corruption is 75+. It doesn't mention anything about an upper ceiling. If that exists, what is it? If it's like 90 or over, I could just go back a couple of days?

Again, this is completely different from the political affiliation issue.
Anyone with too high corruption or too low willpower will not tell you their actual hopes & dreams.
If you're having some other issue, please clarify.
If you're still having issues building the News Room and getting Nicole to tell you about it, the problem could either be 1) Her willpower is to low. Once it goes under 0 or -5 (?), I'm not sure which it is, all girls stop talking about their hopes and dreams or 2) Corruption was too high when you asked about it, which I think is around 60~ or so.
This applies to *all* girls in the household, not just Nicole. If you get their Willpower to low, they're basically "broken", so don't have Hopes and Dreams, and if their Corruption gets to high the only thing they care about is when they'll get dicked next. I think the above numerals are where this kicks in, but I'm not 100% certain because I've never played a run through where I like letting Willpower drop below 40 on average because of Perfectionist and I almost never push a girl above 30-35~ Corruption unless they're a Feminist in which case I'll push them to 50-51 or it happens naturally from them being in a relationship with another girl.
I see you said her Corruption is already around the 90~ range? If you didn't ask her about her Hopes and Dreams before that, you're way past the cutoff point. She won't talk about it at this point anymore. You'd have to somehow lower it naturally or use console commands and hope it triggers the proper conversation at next talk. Rule of thumb is to *always* ask girls about their Hopes and Dreams before Corruption gets to high or Willpower gets to low. Once that's done, I believe you can go past that point without issues if you want.
Otherwise, if you asked her *before* Corruption got to high and she talked about it already; you have to build the News Room in an empty room in the house, then go into her npc menu and select News Reporter to apply her to the job. At that point, she'll automatically take an Authoritarian spectrum depending on her stats/alignment.
I also got Stormchild in Crystal Heights. You are wrong.
