Now hear this: I would recommend this game, but: I played this years ago. When I restarted a NEW game three days ago, there was no saved game, though I remembered much of it. After playing almost two days in a row on the new release, I closed the browser with seven new saves, expecting no problems to start where I left off. That did not happen. When I reopened the game, it had saves from 2022 (apparently the last time I had played it). I tried to replay from there, disappointed, closed it opened the history on that browser, but no saved games. I went to the comments and found other people had similar experiences. Only one suggestion seems to make sense. Save a copy on your pc disk or portable memory... I was so angry the bodies were hitting the floor and blood was flowing (figuratively), I deleted the game, and may wait till the next release to reconsider. So IMPORTANT, it may be because of using the cheats which I used because there is a mild grind, trying to get enough money to rebuild your crumbling mansion, you need the cash. Later I added some of the other, as I had little to no success reviving the business the MC's brother had with the initial purchases or captures. Especially if your trying to make the reputation the game story requires... So suggestion to the Dev: ease up on the grind, we know its a deteriorating world with lost contact with the gateways to home planet. We know there is area competition and competition power plays within the local structure so things are not expected to be simple. But, I have degrees in finance, and economics to the master level, and other degrees in electronics engineering. So, management of resources experience in military industrial complex at management level too. I know how to schedule, coordinate departments, examine forensically accounting records... The game is not on par with expectations in that field. But I enjoy it, I like combat, and rewards systems, and the management. It needed the cheats maybe not to that level, but the saves should work, non-the-less. I would highly recommend your game, but you do not want to piss off the beast when they pay for your games on steam or wherever you plan to take this. Fix the save system, with and without the cheaters in mind. Believe me, they will come back and play it again after the purchase if you take care of them. Its like my libraries of good hard back books, you wait a period and then reopen and read them again. Thanks, that is all. Now sweepers man your brooms, hold a clean sweep down, fore and aft...
Ooops, one more suggestion, when I repaired and upgraded the rooms in the mansion, it always said there were no occupants in those rooms. I go to the basement and find a barracks like area where I guess the MC's henchmen and slaves... householders stay. I would expect with the design saying when occupied those areas improve the attitude and loyalty of the householders... The DEV should include a method to designate as a reward and loyalty system which henchmen, guards and householders are to occupy those rooms. I remember on the old saved game I could assign people to guard the property, it helped prevent the orphans or bandits from breaking in to steal resources including food. This time I saw no option, maybe from the cheats? I went bigtime into the moon religion thing, and preached indoctrinated the householled using all followers trying to get them all into the same religion expecting some benefit with common denominators. What I observed was a + in those with it, and a minus of those observing the alternative religions. So looking at the others, would watch to see if they headed to zero and then + up into the Moon thing. That was also less than satisfying (domination of will sort of play).
