What's her happiness? In game text strongly suggests that matters.

And by your definition what is "long enough" to "definitely trigger" the boosts? You could always just keep reloading the day end screen until it triggers, if it's that important to you.

Also do note that the chances depend on her suitability score, which should be 50 to gain the advertised percentages.

She's got a suitability score of 78. Was planning on making her my guard captain so she could trickle charge my other fighters, figured the Arena was a good way to cap out her fighting stats without having to train her myself. It's been approximately a month without a single stat change other than stamina points and health.

With a suitability score THAT high, I have to ask, what are her stats like?

Because you can actually look up the limits the Arena can train a girl inside the game, from the little info button next to the assignment.

I happen to have a girl with suitability of 78 also and she's short about 20 discipline from the max, but way above the maximums otherwise.

Her melee skill is above the cap at 87, but the others, ranged, discipline, dexterity, strength, and even kindness are under the cap, or technically over in the case of decreasing kindness. 29 strength, 49 dex, 39 ranged, 59 discipline, 34 kindness. Hell, even her weight hasn't changed at all. Mind you, I'm not complaining, it's not like I need another skilled fighter, I am just genuinely curious if the arena is broken or if I'm missing something

Well try and reload the day end screen (ctrl+r or f5) a few times as that rerolls all the stat gains as well.

I do that pretty regularly, mostly if I get an event that causes problems (not 10 minutes ago I lost all of the soldiers guarding Burakumin Village in a raid. RIP). Always check scavenges and stat changes in case I get something worthwhile to offset the event, and I've just never seen Akari's stats change at all. Loses and regains health, stamina points, and somewhat rarely happiness or affection. If you'd like, I'll rapid fire refresh and count how many rerolls fail to generate stat increases. For science and all that

Edit: finally got it to proc! 11 refreshes, which means that it is not bugged, I am just astonishingly unlucky with her RNG. She got more Charisma increases than Arena increases haha

And I feel silly even asking this, but you are not just putting her in to do the daily fight and then taking her out, right? You're leaving her there over night?

Nah, she has been banished to the arena for a while now to deal with her bad behavior. I did manage to get the arena increase to proc after 11 refreshes, so I know now that it's not bugged. I guess her shitty arena performance is compensation for my amazing durasteel scavenging luck.
