Can anyone confirm whether the Statesman trait is giving +3 Palace Rating as it's supposed to?

I'm pretty sure I'm only getting +9 for the High Nobility traits from Arizona, Philip and Ohio, no extra +6 from Philip and Ohio.

Well dammit, they replaced Av197, one of the absolutely hottest women in the game with a generic bimbo. The original had this sexy secretary thing going on and I had one with good stats as my accountant.

If you want to keep the old look, just copy the old Pics\AvRan\Av197 folder from the last version that had it and overwrite the new Av197 folder in your new version. Once you restart the game, the old version of the girl will appear.

But you will need to keep the old folder on hand for future versions - or petition GrimDark to revert to the old look.

You certainly get my vote in support, because the old look is better IMO. The new girl looks like a startled deer in most images

The Automation mod is also started from the .html file unless I'm mistaken, is it possible to use that alongside this?

Been away from the game for a while and just came back and started a new game, so I am sorry if this question has been answered but I did a a search and couldn't find the answer.
I have a processed child (at 10 years old) that has joined my NPC list. She is already ready to start her career but the old aging choices and release button seem to be missing. Was that moved or removed?

Well, a big part of course is that the old AV didn't have clothing options, only the new one does as they were added as the char was replaced.

That means it's only about 15 renders. Considering that a full character set can go over 180 (see: Av1), it is still not too late for the change petition. It's the perfect time in fact

Also, I'm not sure the new Av197 works well as a totally random girl model. Because she looks like she's had surgery done. If I capture this girl as a random bandit and she goes 'Ooh, I'm just a poor farmer's daughter orphan urchin living in the streets' I'd suspect she's bullshitting me

Some of her poses are also fashion model poses, not random person natural poses, especially her casual clothing pose beffenstein attached in the post I replied to.

I think the new Av197 would work better as a semi-scripted girl, along the lines beefenstein suggested - a veteran bimbo with a specific background that you can capture/buy/recruit on your adventures.

I thought about that, but they added new renders to the girl, so the new version will appear every time the game calls for those. Which will just be ugly.

Besides, my 300+ day save looks to be fucked now so it's kind of a moot point, since I doubt I'll be motivated to restart anytime soon. Haha, no. Got it sorted out.

But it doesn't work well for the purpose of gaining screen space, because the game is still offset to left.

I agree, the menu just disappears, but the displacement remains, here you need to somehow make a menu a sliding like this.

Go to NPC Menu. Find and click on your child's portrait. Click on the Actions tab. Under Tasks & Locations find the Age +1 button. One click = +1 year to your child. Once the child is 18 the Send Off button will appear to the right of the Age +1 button, under Options. HTH.

Edit: If you're on the supporter versions, the Age +1 button will be replaced with the Debug button, which will allow you to change age and many other options.

Respect, affection, I believe low prosper and same religion, I'm not sure about same religion tho, but other than that, those thing counts.

Enslave mercenaries

The MC can now enslave mercenaries (and some paragons) by convincing them to sign an indentured servanthood contract (Talk>Affect>Enslave). While the roll is extremely difficult to succeed, trying to persuade high-Respect, high-Affection, high-Corruption NPCs when Ikaanos is affected by low Prosperity/Control will turn a lot of factors to your favor.

A mercenary/paragon that enters slavery immediately loses his salary.

You can marry them (if they're girls). You don't need to pay salary to your wives

Edit: obsolete in 0844 with salary demands on.

Thanks. That helped. In the end, it had something to do with using a mod. When I reloaded with the unmodded version, age +1 was there. Modded version screenshot attached for other people's reference in case someone else runs into this. Thanks again
