In my first playthrough after dividing Valeria and Gregory their affection and anger were stable amiable and 1 anger for Gregory and undying and 0 anger for Valeria. It seems to have changed. Now even if I pay Valeria 300/day for a +5 daily affection (Cap Loving) and -3 anger boost, she gets - 3 affection every night until she reaches amiable and gets +1 anger at night if I lower it to 0 during the day.

I have a couple questions about the educator system for anyone who understands it. Apologies if this has been asked/answered, I couldn't find it.

If an educator has a "base chance" of 67 and +5 from a template, does that mean that 72 is their chance to affect each of their students every day? So something like if the game rolls under 72, the sudent could get whatever stats they're training (some random combination of discipline and skills based on the template), over 72 and it's a wash?

I notice that if the educator has 5/4 students, there's a -2 penalty. Is that just -2 from the base chance (so it would be 70 in my example) or something else?

Finally the -20 that students get if they have other jobs.. is that a further penalty to the education chance (down to 50 in my case), or does that apply to something else like whatever random chance is involved in the job they're doing?

Also, is there any kind of downside to enslaving servants like Michelle or Adrienne? Aside from being a dick move.

Basically you got it all right, except that AFAIK there's also other factors and/or rolls, but I don't bother to remember them.

One example which I believe is correct is that increasing Dexterity was particularly hard (1/3rd chance?) AND there are limits/penalties for improving Strength and Dexterity based on the student's body type.

I just use Educators with 100+ base chance and click end of day until the job is done.

Not *really*.

There is one lady, Clea Vallas, who has a negative trait that activates if you enslave too many high status people, but I'm not sure if either Michelle or Adrienne qualified. Mercenaries like Ansel definitely affect it.

If Liberty is too high, you do start losing influence for every slave owned.

They are missing from your inventory? They are used up when you fire plasma rifles or when you craft power cores or power katana.

What's different? Is she still on active relationship trait in the new one? Did you turn on salary demands in the settings or was it auto turned on, so now in this new save she requires salary?

It resolved by itself. It seems that I just needed to wait. In about 1-2 month after the relationship-trait was gone Valeria was finaly over it and no longer angry and non-loving.

I appreciate the clarification. But dang, where do you get someone with 100+ base chance? The highest Intelligence guy I've found so far is Dexter, and the highest Discipline I've found is Cassius (took some persuading to recruit him..). Even if I had them train each other, they'd only have 80-something.

Well, you can find some slaves with ridiculous Discipline, such as 3 of the Red Tide religion followers, Black Scorpion, Talika and the Cultist Monk. Talika and Cultist Monk (also Black Scorpion?) have somewhat randomized stats, so they can end up well above 100 with or without the Workaholic Trait, which by itself is another +10 chance.

There are also some slaves with particularly high intelligence, such as the Stormchild who can get to 120 int guaranteed, and has randomized stats and thus can have Workaholic, which will eventually bring Discipline to a 100.

Lastly there's Luckie, whose stats are also randomized, but who *can* start with exceptionally high intelligence.

There's probably more than few other good ones too.

Also keep in mind that Head Maid has a chance to bring Maids up to their own discipline, even above 100, and same applies to the Butler and Footmen.

Cultist Monk and the Black Scorpion has been nerfed a while back. They can make 100 Discipline probably, but not the old limits they use to reach.

Talika is still a monster though, if the stars align, capping at a maximum roll possible of 190. For that, she needs to get two +30 boost at processing for a total of +60 discipline, needs the 27-45 roll for base stats to get to 45, needs her Red Tide discipline bonus to roll 60, and needs to have both Workaholic and Perfectionist from the get go. Multiple layers there, probably not worth to squeeze everything.

If you do at least get her to the 130+ territory, Talika, as head maid, can train Valeria Helm. Valeria Helm is often the dominant partner in the relationship (unless you fucked up her willpower or her relationship trait), which means she will train Gregory up to her Discipline, and then he can be the Butler for the men.

You train them. You put them in the academy for INT. You get their Discipline up via various methods in the wiki. A good captain of the guards can train his guards relatively quickly to 80 Discipline. Otherwise, your best bet fresh off the capture are Dolcaar Vesren and Bart Masters, who both come at 80+ INT, 105 Discipline, and the Dominant trait which has its pluses (bonus as educator) and minuses if not managed (Household Demoralization ---> Fear increase).

How to defeat the APC on Aria's mission? I have a squad all with Hull-C, 120 Stamina, between 100 and 120 Strength, 120 Dexterity all of them, all with Plasma Rifles.... and the APC + 2 BOFORS fight completely destroys me.... each one of my people gets one shotted by the APC, and even if I focus fire on the APC I can't kill it before everyone on my side is dead so.... what am I missing? is there a more powerful weapon than the Plasma?

  • Does your team have health implant level 2 (NPC Menu ----> Actions ---> Crystal Heights clinic)?
  • What's their Melee Combat/Ranged Combat stat, 150?
  • Do you have your ?
  • Does your team have high Medicine stat to use Combat Tendstims you buy from the Mastersphere which can be used to heal during combat? More medicine stat, more uses.
  • Who are your combatants? Depending on your combatants, powerstriking with greataxe might be genuinely stronger. Plasma can reduce the soak of the APC, if you want.
The strongest weapons you can get before that fight are typically the Cybercannon (limited ammo, ignores Ammo Pack, but enough ammo supply to do the hardest fights), Voice of Adem incantation (costs willpower to cast, requires Prowler in the Depths 3), or the Greataxe/Greatsword with the melee powerhouses.

Two Cybercannons are available. One from direct purchase in the Mastersphere, one from deciphering a twin-cipher taken from Rosita's The Goonies quest (attack the Goonies) and the level 2 rumors mission from Divine Juices in Watery Eyes (auto deciphered in the library with appropriate stat, I forgot if INT or Aca/Sci).

The Helm family quest how do I pick this up?
Hire Lovisa, unlock her background. Bring her to meet Tori at the bathhouse, unlock Tori's background and that will give the Helm quest.
