I have to keep upgrading my gardens and after some time they drop back down and I have to spend money again to keep output up. Is this normal? I only have one gardener with 3 gardens so could that be the problem?

You will get Zapin Fields later on Harrow Island beyond Denemere, also the Village in Raikan. Because of that you won´t have any food problems later at all. So it does not make sense to have 3 gardens and / or hunters gathering food.
3 Gardens makes no sense, sure.
But I do keep high skill hunters on the job, because the leather they bring in I can sell and it's more than they would make working at one of the crappy jobs.
The extra food I can just funnel to the Catholics to increase my standing and their power faster, thus increasing the amount of money they pay me.

Alright, now that I caught back up. Louisiana was so good, she instantly became my number one in the game. If I was a bit conflicted between which main quest to choose, now I'm not. Especially with how good Arizona also was on that side of things. Mordecai went from Father-in-Law to Brother-in-Law. Hell, there's a chance he'll be both. Even more so if he has any more daughters to gift me. What a nice, bald fellow. His speech about being a Harem Lord has some damn cult potential.
Also, with the amount of states being given to Mordecai children, I think it would be better for me to switch my future daughters and sons with Louisiana, Arizona and potentially the others over to city names. For example, I named my new child with Louisiana, Alexandria, a city within the state. On my NWO Main, they're just going to have to potentially suffer the threat of two Florida's.
Now it's time to do Amir quest and get his pain in the ass daughter Aisha again. Probably should've did that first with the new context of the SMR questline. Oh well, I'm sure this won't be the last time I accidentally delete my saves and have to start over again. I'll just make a mental note and hope I don't forget. But yeah, I would say I enjoy the SMR quest more than NWO. And it's not even over yet.

Second way is how it's implemented in automod (or close enough). Not really sure if it's tied to midnight though.Basically making the report works can be done in two ways. First, making call to the log and store the results after midnight and that gets displayed instead of empty log. Currently it doesn't store it at all even if you sleep before midnight, that is why you get a bit of delay every time you click the log button. The second way is simply to have stored log and every time it updates stuff at midnight (through the many calls) it adds to that log. Then make that log accessible throughout the day. Both of these solutions require quite a bit of reworking and it makes sense why no one did it before.
First is what I currently have manually added inside my game copy. But it's not very clean and requires editing html. I'm going to implement this and many other things as a mod. Just need to sort out some issues first. Hopefully it'll happen early next week.
I like Louisiana too, because she sees her purpose in live to breed children and will receive happiness-bonus when assigned to a Nursery that has her own children in it. I think i will start a new playthrough soon with Louisiana as my wife and breeding-mare xD Only downside is that she only has a fertility of 10%, so i will have to pump huge loads inside of her ...

Kind of funny because she got pregnant on the second try, for me. RNG was on my side. Otherwise, she's going to need to walk around with a diaper on or something for all of the cum that would be leaking out of her. Especially since I chose the massive/huge load perk. Which might've helped. I chose it for no other reason than to make women choke on cum.
Speaking of pregnancy, I hope we get more kid npcs. If my expansion gets out of hand because my new wife wants to be my own personal cum dump. I'm going to need more blonde and bald kids. Even more so if Arizona messes around and wants the same treatment.
If by numbers you mean power value or money you get out of there, then I prefer to use some of the crafting points in my workshops to craft swords and gift them to Sera. Gives one point power value for 20 swords, while money you give them only increases the power value 1 point for every new "my standing" point. It gets more and more expesive moneywise the higher the power value of Sera gets, but it doesn't affect giving them weapons.
If you just want to max out "my standing", gifting slaves is the cheapest way, especially at the beginning when you do not earn that much money per day.
Depends on the route you want to take for the main quest: NWO or SMR. For one of them you might need a couple of soldiers (or a lot more) in Sera.

funny you should mention this, as I actually had some thoughts about it, considering the fact that she's 230 years old, there's no way she has any ovum left in her body, this would have made a great opportunity for a affinity related quest to have access to some Nano-tech fertility procedure to help her fulfil her dream.
The problem is that I simply don't know what exactly “Revital” does, except that it kinda freezes the aging process. Maybe it also helps to replenish the ovum ...

No, it just shows that you are not the boss of that faction. It turns to black once you reach 100 standing with a faction, but that is only possible for some factions. You make as much money as is shown there.
You should consider to turn to Aesir religion for a while to max out the standing with Ordenborg. makes better money than Caliphate and Catholics. And when you turn your back on Aesir, you can still raise your income from them by voting for some politics in the senate later to increase their power value.
I've been playing this game too long.
I can't seem to figure out exactly how to sell members of my household in the slave auctions, and I can't find anything useful in the Wiki. Can someone please walk me through it?

Go to actions tab under the Tasks and Locations in their NPC menu and choose the Crystal Market or Watery Eyes section. Then you'll be able to sell them.
