Hey bro. I get what you're saying. Your tastes are different and I respect that. By comparing the 2 games, I wasn't trying to highlight how they spiraled into depravity. The idea is that it's more engaging for players to interact with a small amount of girls that are content-rich rather than interact with a bunch of sluts with not much background or content.I played both those games, though I didn't play Corruption long as the girls didn't appeal to me much, fake-looking tits are a huge turn off for me, and that's pretty much all that game had. "Insight of You" I played and enjoyed far longer, but in the end the fact the target of the MC's ire again had those fake-looking tits didn't appeal and otherwise I didn't find her all that sexy anyway. I did like the writing and humor in that game and it got as depraved as I like it sometimes, but in the end you knew the lovely red-headed girlfriend couldn't be corrupted too much as she was the MC's girlfriend and that just left Maya who I did really enjoy but in the end wasn't enough to keep downloading it just to watch her spiral into depravity.
Plus quite frankly I didn't think the target really deserved all that, she was a bitch but that was a pretty extreme comeuppance. I can't recall for sure, maybe she did try to hire a hitman or something, but even that seemed contrived just to kinda justify what she was gonna get. She was mostly just a bitch who ruined some people on her way up the corporate ladder--just like many men before her-- and I didn't think the punishment really fit the crime.
Point being the latter game didn't give me enough reasons to keep downloading as I started to feel a little sympathy for the poor target and she didn't really turn me on to begin with. In this game I don't particularly find Juno attractive, she has a rocking bod but the heavy tattoos don't appeal, though I do like her as a person and find her very useful. Piper is another one that's very useful but she doesn't do much for me either, she comes off as a mannequin or something with a body that for some reason reminds me a little of a blow-up doll.
Were it those two and say Lovisa who I find extremely attractive I might not be as interested in the game as just like with Maya I'd eventually want more girls I was interested in. Here there's Michelle, the tier 2 slave, Aria, Rebecca and others who're not done yet but really excite me at thought of seeing more of them. I want more options than just a few, thus I hope the dev doesn't completely curtail the possibility of new slaves and other characters.
That being said I'm not a fan of WIPs, though I understand why so many devs use them. I prefer however if their existence as WIPs is shorter than what I've seen so far, though I applaud the rate at which Grimdark develops new material and fills those WIPs. I was very happy to see that cute little slut from Furry's is going to get her quest and that we'll get Lovisa's sister, but that I didn't see anything about Valerie Barstow (?) was kind of a disappointment.
Players tend to retain interest with quality over quantity. That's basically my point. Also, it's worth pointing out that if the dev continues adding more slaves like this, it'll affect the quality of the current slaves. They'll stay WIP for longer and the background of each slave will have a tendency to be shallow or unimmersive because the devs attention is now split to developing more girls.
Based on the wikia, currently, there are more slaves who are WIP than 100% in terms of wardrobe and sex scene renders. I don't think it's a good idea to increase the number of WIP slaves. Just saying.
Edit: As a response to a related comment, you said "why can't there be both?" Well ideally there should be both quantity and quality. But the idea is, if we're not getting both, it's more practical to invest in the quality of each slave rather than the quantity. It's one thing if they'll be released in the game at 100%. But the dev releases them at WIP so it's really unimmersive that one could argue that even the quantity aspect is not being achieved properly.
Also, the problem with prioritizing quantity in this kind of game is that you tend to get more of the same thing over and over. Because how many slaves can you introduce into the game until you get characters that are too similar, they're basically the same? Like Rebecca/Aria and Amelia/Piper. Those pairs are almost the same person and they're not personalized enough in terms of interactions to feel a significant difference in their identity. There's a limit to the quantity before it feels like the dev is just copy pasting identities.
