In the middel of watery eyes is charater - Sven Johansson - is he part of some quest, or - work in progress - person. He has
unique apperance for NPC, but stats a shit, only corruption is good.

Sorry about my Engrish
He's a recently added unique NPC.

Not everyone you find is going to have amazing stats.

No story, just a unique melee fighter type with some good guaranteed traits for it like Truls, Cassius, and Kate.

quick question: does sofia ortega have a quest or something? i bought her by accident and her traits are really annoying i’m thinking of selling her, but if she has some small quest i could wait.
I usually dont like spoilers, but keeping her in the house is dificult

I was curious, being new to HTML games, when the game is updated, do I need to replace the old game with a new download? Or is it automatically updated?

Technically you just need to replace the HTML file,

However if there are any new images/sounds/whatever in the new update, those won't work unless you do a fresh download. Some games might have a separate download just for the update that you would just paste into the "old" folder.

Just make her your head maid and Attention Whore is entirely neutralized. Bud has a similar workaround if you make him your Butler. I used to use neuraclean on both of them to get rid of that trait. Don't need to now.

I can't find anybody in Watery Eyes. Is Sven Johansson another character I killed or sold over a year ago? If so, can some friendly soul tell me how to revive him via the console?

He's a solo enemy you'll find in the center of Watery Eyes literally on day 1. You probably either killed him, sold him, or donated him without realizing he was a unique.

Some other uniques it's easy to miss like that are Truls (also Watery Eyes), Valkrie (Marston Ave), Kate (South Redhaven), Tuner (Docks), Cassius and Talika (Kasey Park), Cultist Monk (Stokke Hills), Black Scorpion (Raikan), Dolcaar (Silfren Mine), Bart (Armand's bank heist quest), Ohio Adler (Rebellion), Void Seeker (Prowler quest) and Zenobia (Ring quest). I may have missed a few but those are the ones I can think off of the top of my head that are easily missable.

Of the above characters I would imagine most people would want all of the girls regardless whether they are of any real use aside from sex. Out of the guys, Dolcaar, Bart, Cassius, and Tuner are particularly good.

Greetings,

I love this game. A lot. I went to the wiki but i m not sure what to do even with some help.
I found some topic where people are saying they made hundreds of thousands of coins in like 2 weeks.. i can't even beguin to understand how it is possible.
I couldn't read 1134 page of info on this forum. Someone could give me a bit of help please to start the game?

Looks like the key is to enslave people we fight and with the money buying others slaves?
I love the feeling in the game and try to keep up.
I tried to put every point in skill classe and nothing else. Is it a good idea?
I tried expert scholar + wealthy. 200+15 coins/day.
It seems there is so many way to build our "hero"..
What could be a priority for a beguinner to start well and learn?

Thanks again for the game.

Making money in MoR kind goes through a few different phases.

At the very beginning of the game, assuming you don't take something like the $5 mil enhanced start capturing and selling slaves is pretty much the 1 and only way to make a reasonable amount of money. The more slaves you sell, the bigger the penalty you will build up, eventually reaching -75% or worse. So there are diminishing returns. You will want to use cane whips to guarantee a 100% capture chance.

The key is to use that money to enable alternate income streams. The most important is to build your first workshop. This allows you to produce large amounts of equipment to sell at a profit which you can then use to buy upgrades and fund various investments around town. So the key to the mid game is at least 1 workshop, ideally more than 1.

The third phase is boosting your standing and power level with various factions, some of which will pay you both with money and influence every day. This is not a fast pay off but this is how you can eventually get to where you make $100k+ just by clicking the conclude day button.

There are other things you can do to make money like hunt and sell the food, prostitution, training and selling sex slaves, etc. But none of those has the kind of immediate return you can get from just capturing a slave and auctioning them off the same day.

For me things really start to snowball around the end of the 3rd month. End of month 1 I have 1 workshop that is not fully upgraded plus both Fort Sera and Aesir as a full vassal (but not much more than that). End of month 2 I have Zapin Field set up and producing enough food to cover all of my food needs, but not maxed out as well as a second workshop (neither workshop fully upgraded yet). End of month 3 I have 3 fully upgraded workshops plus the fusion core house upgrade plus most of the investments around town except for Toshi Gardens. By the 3rd month I'm not selling hardly any slaves anymore (I'm donating most of them to Fort Sera), almost all of my money comes from investments and workshop sales.

here's a post I made a little while ago answering that exact issue you can't seem to be bothered to browse the forum for:

-first of all you can't really mess up a character, there's no wrong build since there's only one build, just get yourself a rifle and train ranged combat at home, aim for 90 as a skill cap, for any skill really, and have your "main squad" with you when you train, so they train too.

-There are a couple of great companion that you will not regret getting, Jack, Kyle, and Doyle are all rather cheap and decent character to have around for the whole game, Ansel and Bud are the bottom of the barrel, if you can do without them it's better.

-Do the Kymanto early quest, should give you a few thousands bucks, and a feel for how the game's play, always clic on RED highlighted text, it's clues, you don't want to miss thoses, lately Grim stopped doing that for quests (which is a damn tragedy) but hopefully he'll get passionate again and put his mind back on track, at least there's hoping.

-What you can do then is slave hunting, ideally with the slave hunter perk (that you take during character creation), equip staves as side arms for you and melee for you companion and go slave hunting, you can fetch anything from 700$ to 15000$ if you're lucky. you sell them either at redheaven or watery eyes early game, different slaver offer different prices so try to get the best offer.

-Finally get to Kasey's park, in the temple of Yidhra and get the two kids, Laika and Loden, asign them at scavenging (both), and they will get you all sort of junk that you will have no great use of early game but to sell back at the market.

-the real gem is laika with high acrobatic, once you got at 1000 influence you have access to the Gymnasium's competition in Crow's end, with her High skill she should win with not much trouble the semi finals, and earn you around 20000$ every 25* days, it should be a priority for you so don't miss out.

-once you got yourself enough money you buy a property like the Darkmere Lumber at the town hall for 35 000$, there's 750 000 wood to harvest, mean 750 000$ but don't let it deplete, let it rest, replant the tree, and resume operation, etc.

if you got there, you know how to play the game so you'll figure it out, no shame in save scumming, game's progression is all RNG so tap f5 or reload until you get the desired outcome.

have fun buddy.

I just wanted to add in Bud is great he may have lackluster non-combat stats, but he has the best ammo-pack in the game because he just needs to like you vs having enough wealth. Every other merc with that perk cost way more and need Ikanos not to be destitute.

Giving her a +5$ allowance is enough to counter the bad effects of his att whore trait. She is materialist, so +5$ it´s +2 Aff per day

And, AFIK she have not a quest. Yet.

An this is an usual complain of mine. Hey Grimm! why do you hate Sophia, Rachel and Juno? They have been here since the house was 8 people (or even smaller, If IRR Juno was in the game when the house was with 2 slots and you have to build expansions to reach 8) and you have thrown them down the bus. No care, no attention, nothing of nothing....Stop adding new characters and finish the old ones!. Instead of the new policewoman (nothing agains her, but making her is time and effort) you could have finished the gangs story and quest for Sophia, or the theater affair for Rachel (and, at the same time, making the Turner character of some use) or open a trade route with Juno to New Eden... or may be the three at the same time

I have finished my current run as an Aesir. Made all the avaliable quests for the catholic church (two are greyed) and my current status is 19?

If I make a run as a Catholic, can I go significatively further?

Pretty much all available Catholic content is listed in the changelog.
