wow damn u got me thinking about the old versions all over again , back when it was ment to train and sell your slaves not keep them and when they died they were gone forever haha ironman mode was regular XD its came a long way since over 3 years ago when Grim celebrated the Birth of MoR and yeah the earliest versions only had 2 slots now we have like almost 100 lmaoo its great and it just keeps coming and getting better and better , cheers to all supporting and have love for the game. this the tribal warrior from in the middle of the MoR banner haha, i think imma play the old versions for a bit lolSo if you hop onto the discord they'd probably be better able to answer your questions and probs someone here will too, but I'll give a brief answer.
MOR 2 is still several years away iirc. MOR 1 still has several more major versions to go through and features to add that will take another few years to fully complete and add. Having been on this thread since the start I'm going to say that this timeline is still variable as Grim has added a lot compared to the original scope of the game and backer rewards keep coming in.
Which is a pretty good segway to the nextpoint, being that as far as I understand the stories for named NPCs is in a completed state as of this current moment. The game, again, was not intended to be this story driven at the start and very heavily focused on the management aspect of the game (in the early versions we had a maximum of 6 slots for the Kymnato girls and that was it). What we have now is very much a result of Grim listening to player feedback and players - like myself - refusing to sell anyone, and instead choosing to expand to the point the game doesn't have enough housing to fit everyone.
If you look at the game as a whole you can see there's a lot of dedication toward the development of mechanics. The expanded roster of NPCs are there due to the introduction of the random slave system, and not necessarily for the added story content. Whether the stories get further built up or not is something up to Grim, but from what I can tell currently based on the progress list mentioned on the discord there's nothing further to do. Possibly if there's enough popularity behind the idea or a backer pushes for specific characters to have extended stories we could see more, but as of right now the stories are complete.
There is a section of the community dedicated to community works and adding scenarios/flavour text, but I'm not too knowledgable on the subject. Based on past system overhauls I could see the romance/relationship system receiving an overhaul and this community would most likely be a large source of new content aside from what Grim makes himself.
Hopefully we will see more content coming for named NPCs in the future as I would also like to see that myself. Also hoping to get some mods somewhere down the line.
