Great news, I love this genre. I will follow and like in advance, but I hope for a male protagonist (without him, this is an auto skip for me), and I also hope that options like gay and futa will be optional. After all, games with "Breeding" are clearly not about that =)

3D only makes simulators and managers worse. I mean it's ok if it's done in Unity, there's a monster appearance constructor and the ability to make more H scenes. But it would be better to do it as a top-down strategy with cursor control.
After all, Breeding Season excited with mathematics and not with a picture (although the artist is really very talented on the last builds).

The question is why you would use a name that could DIRECTLY be associated with the first Breeding Season when you obviously know that there was an issue with the game. If there's no correlation between the two games why would you call yourself something that would make it seem like it's part of a series.
But don't worry, this game will be updated often

Will it be possible to play the game as gay only or is the player forced to breed female characters to progress the story?
The concept and characters are inspired from the original BS, but me (the main developer) has no relation to the original BS devs.
But I really want to invoke the similar feeling of owning a breeding ranch from the original BS (in 3D), hence the title.

Once gay only is an option I'll play the crap out of this game bc most other games with both hetero and homo content make only the gay content optional and not the straight stuff.

I'll be keeping an eye on this for sure. Derelict Helmsman doesn't have to hold the genre up alone. He has set a high bar in my eyes though. Just don't let us get under your skin and help you burn out, even the ppl who don't trust you really want what you're pushing. Good luck!

Any thought given on being able to disable certain creature sexes from existing entirely? It wouldn't have to be harder if the other sexes just don't spawn and it only generates quests/requests for things that exist. Also for a Gay-only mode it would be nice if breeding could happen with just male/male for those with no interest in trans-men. For balance reasons you probably do want two 'sexes' if only males are enabled, just have Alphas and Omegas or something. MPreg is a kink that exists and fits perfectly for having a male-only breeder game. It's more groundwork but gives your game a lot more customization and there's no reason you can't just have placeholder animations (where they just stand there doing nothing) and have all the gameplay enabled from the start even if those animations are going to be done later/last.It's a breeding game
