Trying to view the gallery for the latest version, but every time I do, shortly after the music kicks in, my entire computer freezes with the buzzing death tone. Anyone know what's causing this/how to prevent or fix it?
Please help. Trying to open the gallery option just leads to a black screen and nothing loads, forcing me to close the game. What's the fix for this issue? (The rest of the game works just fine)
Hm, I wasnt aware this is actually an issue (searched thread, but before that no note).
But there is another issue and that's my best guess: 1)
performance in gallery / high cpu/gpu useage. (check links there for solutions to limit fps if you don't know).
If fps limit wont help (not necessary in that order): 2) check drivers (idk either newer or older); 3) disable additional monitors if u have; 4) tell about your hardware - may an incompatibility with certain igpus f.e. and about your software (os - check with "winver"; used driver version).
Except either CPU or GPU incompatibiltiy I dont think it could be an hw issue, if it always happens in same place for at least 2 ppl for now. So software - what else except drivers?
5) Above link recommends to use afterburner/special K - always worth a test to see if the game may still be running/using ressources. But overlays can often also cause issues you if u have any (also gpu drivers have overlays and others do exist), disable them (meaning not just show but prevent loading the dll -

6) The readme has a known bug with AV's and likely the UnityPlayer.dll. 7) Maybe it could be outdated

exclusive fullscreen mode (in all 3 cases best by using a link/shortcut).
11) You could check %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\T-Hoodie Draws\Max_The_Elf_DEMO\output_log.txt or may other files inside on if there is any indication on the error.
