I think 2019 had more problems than adding NTR, I don't think that's the only reason. Chapters 2-3 were barely playable at that time, and the family content was mostly done. I don't know how many stick around after that, even the Killer7 graph you posted shows people move on when they get what they want, If it wasn't for the new game he was making the numbers would've plummeted. And if most NTR haters were gone when NTR/Sharing scenes were added, then that means NTR/Sharing expecters keeping this game afloat. I think Dev knows this fact by now, because the shift moved from Max to Home now, which is clear to see. I don't know how many older players coming here for the Max content dev is putting rn over what's happening at home.

Nothing you just typed out addresses or refutes the points he made and a lot of it is pure speculation. Other stuff going on in 2019? So other games weren't successful that year huh?
As he stated it has been confirmed to me personally that the dev had admitted he made a mistake and it has been detrimental to him.
That's why he's already rewrote the first part of his newer game in regards to two love interests because people got on him about them and he wasn't risking it.
As for NTR players being what's left? Probably so.

Dev know he not only lost support going from 1000 to $600 but also kept declining when before he was growing. Thats all, it was the ntr, it wasnt luck, it wasnt tehnicall issues or people "getting boring" ( lmao as if you get bored of what you like). Many games where you fuck the family members early and they keep going strong after that.
Killer7 just reached the peak of what you could earn with shitty HS1 graphics that why he stopped growing, and tbh he is earning a lot more than he should imo, the games finished now and his other game isnt all that great even with Daz.

That's great you have a lot of opinions and you are welcome to them but your opinions aren't facts. He presented facts.
What you do with them is up to you but you ain't a seer and you don't know what would have happened or not.
There is empirical data that suggests he would've continued his growth like other developers though but we'll never know now.
Also admitting proven fact that it was bad for business did not quell the ragers or bring people back.
Good on him to learn his lesson though and admit it. (If he really did learn anything.)

Also, I never claimed he lost 90% of support though and I never said that, I was calling bullshit on you saying adding ntr doesnt have much of an effect when this game's decadence is the living proof that it does. This was one of the best games back in 2019 earning close to 1000 per month, it was out there with other greats, if it hadnt gone to shit it would have kept growing like most other games, thats why I posted how games that also started close to this one kept growing and didnt experience this harsh drop in earnings.

It's really quite simple you used his fan count as a metric of success and pointed out how steady it has been. MONEY is the actual measurement of success and the dev even admits shit went bad for him after his little genre transition so just come off it and quit being obtuse dude.

The game is in no way recovering the profitability it already lost and chapter 5 is the last one according to the dev. Just come off it man you've already been proven wrong it's OK.

And I'll only try the game again when I'm sure I can make the only guy who has sex scenes (with the LIs or any other girls) be the MC. And the LIs don't think about other guys at any time, and all the NTR/shared feeling disappears from the game.

I think that Kuggazer made a good decision adding sharing scenes, but his way of implementing could def be better without touching the "mental cuck" people's ire and now he is trying to salvage stuff, this is always a hot topic. I think Kugga is making his best HS renders yet, but people focus on other things, and I feel sorry for him. Started this game around the end of chapter 2 with incest-harem, but no denying his work improved much more even with sharing-ntr stuff people like to parrot about(which is more exciting part of the game rn, because Max's content was getting dull.)

I hope these comments do not demotivate him, because his HS renders became great, I'll miss him a lot if he leaves the Honey Select completely in the future.
