Here is a link to the consolidated final v0.4b update. It is essentially the same as the current one, but it fixes a small error on Ariella's rent page.

it is because everyone gets a notification when someone posts something new in the thread and quite frankly it begins to annoy me to see you post only one sentence and after two minutes another one sentence and after that again one sentence. you could DM the Dev or you could gather all and then post or you could just use a notepad
I appear to be stuck at "You cannot see this scene until Luna is teaching Sex Ed." from within the bedroom. Does anyone know how to make her start this? Maybe bug?

Huh... I'm trying to figure out what's going on here. Did Jessie get her boobjob? I know that happened for me first, and it seems she almost has enough money, but she got to $5000 and it didn't trigger for me.

For Chanel, loyalty is 101/100 and all activities warn that they will not increase corruption. However, I do keep getting her picture as if there is more to do.

What I am considering though is something that would be a lot easier which would be to switch the system of notifications from being character based to location based. That is, currently, you can see if there is someone you can interact with but you don't know where. I could, however, switch to a system where you know you can interact with someone at a particular place, but you don't know who. Would that be an improvement?
There is clearly some logic for checking which characters have new events available on any given day. I think it's intuitive for the player to use those sidebar notifications as an interactable to immediately go to the location for that scene. Would it be that much harder to make a mapping of the event "stage" to the location the event takes place (or starts) at? Since characters don't really "exist" persay outside of their stats, it's not like you need to worry about them moving around...
I.e. We know Luna's corruption is at X value, so we look up X in a dictionary/map of lunaEventLocations to get the destination clicking on the interactable would take the player to.
At the outset, I will say that as a woman, I am not very fond of games in which I would play the male role of our protagonist. However, I must admit that there are also games in which I preferred the male side of the game more than the female side, such as Mass Effect - the reason was simple - the male character of our hero Shepard had better-looking companions with whom he could have an affair I often wonder if he is napping in bisexual to me :intense_thinking:
There were elements that could disappointed me in this game, like there wasn't much to do on the weekend. Being at home, whether it was in the morning or late in the evening, there was never anyone in house. From time to time ( single units), a family member with whom the quest was related would appear. I just felt like I was alone in a house where there should be quite a few NPCs.
Nevertheless, Mayor of Mount Pleasant quickly appealed to me and more than I expected.
The game has great potential to be a really interesting game. I just hope that the dev of this game will not put a strong emphasis on pornographic elements, but also on the management of the city and politics in general as well.
Bur I didn't think that combining porn and politics could make a very interesting game. But in the end, after all, sex scandals and politics are something that we encounter quite often in our real life in media. I hope the creator will continue his work.
Below are I present some ideas that I personally think would be worth adding to the game, or at least being considered by the game developer.
Council meeting at City Hall
1). landfill - The charm of small towns is that you can be enjoy the peace and quiet and... fresh air.
Well, that's not quite the case. The problems of small towns are struggling with the funds they raise from their residents. Considering the fact that most people, especially the more ambitious ones, do not see the possibility of developing their life aspirations and migrate to larger cities. So small towns have to come up with many different ways to raise funds and provide a better standard of living or at least trying... at the expense of something else like dumping garbage from other cities in a landfill.
Subject: Establishing a garbage dump in Mount Pleasant, and collecting garbage from major cities to raise additional funds.
How to?
I believe this should be a one time main quest in the game, like buying cheerleader outfits.
Should the player (mayor) decline this quest, it would be possible to bring this thread back at any time in the Department of Finance Report if desired by player.
subject; Department of Finance
pros;
Additional income ( depends on the contract ) +$100/$50/$25 per week, helps fight against unemployment - lots of extra jobs.
cons;
To operate the garbage dump, city will need to spend money on new equipment and if mayor and council decide to get new equipment then city need has to spend a huge amount ~ $75,000 or so? I leave the decision on the size of the amount to the creator of the game. I know it's an unrealistic sum, that there should be more, but in the end it's just a game and what's the point of emptying the city's treasury? It's more about convening the council, making decisions, etc etc. then +$100 in income per week. But mayor is not alone, so some or even most of the expense can be covered by local sponsors/businessmen.... for a favor or two ) or the purchase of used equipment + $50 weekly income because more frequent maintenance is required.
Bur there can be alternative by hiring a company and her equipment from out of town would bring the city only +$25 a week.
This decision decrease in popularity among residents - complaining about the unpleasant smell of the area and non-static appearance.
If the city council decided to use equipment from an out-of-town company, it would have an additional negative impact on taking jobs away from local residents.
Of course, such a quest would require the player to sit through several meetings, as the bill would have to be approved first. Then determine the location of the landfill. Purchase/lease of machines that would handle the waste process.
After approval of the contract, city council had to approve the location for the landfill
1a) Not all shit that stinks - That's right... you read that right and no, I didn't mean all that glitters is not gold.
By implementing the investment to build a landfill, the city could earn a lot from it. In addition, with the introduction of the law on segregation of waste, which would facilitate the disposal of waste and even its reuse - recycling.
With the introduction of such a garbage collection and recycling act, the city could earn an additional $50 a week (+ $150/$100/$75 a week depending on the signed contract. The revenue decision could be up to the devs).
Despite the fact that garbage disposal can be a very lucrative business, it would require a large investment in the right equipment (another city expense that will pay for itself, but over time)
But kind of problem could arise after the implementation of the Recycling Act. Given that Mount Pleasant is not a metropolis, there would be a shortage of manpower and yest they are just a humans not robots that would work 24/7.
In such a case, the city would have to introduce a new law on reduced intensity of garbage collection. That is General waste collection in one week and paper, glass and plastic collection in the second week.
props;
Additional income from disposal and recycling + $50 per week, fight against unemployment - moderate additional number of jobs.
cons;
Expenditure on an advertising campaign in the media aimed at making residents aware of the benefits of segregating waste. Purchase of new bins for general waste, paper, plastic and glass - a one-time expense. Expenditure on the creation of additional construction facilities (hall, forklifts, disposal/recycling machines) at the landfill for temporary storage of segregated waste. Public dissatisfaction with less frequent emptying of garbage (bad smell, full bins) ect.
If the developer wants, I could make a "sheet" of machines that the mayor would have to buy to work on landfill. It would work on the principle of cheerleader outfits.
New, bigger, equipment will be more expensive. Used, small equipment dances but less effective.
2). Sawmill - Given the fact that Mount Pleasant is located in a mountainous area surrounded by forest, investors could be attracted to Mount Pleasant (by the mayor and his wonderful council) who could offer additional jobs to the city and attract new residents through the development process.
Subject: Creation of a sawmill dealing with deforestation.
subject; Department of Finance
How to?
As was the case with the garbage dump, this should be a one-time main quest in the game.
Should the player (mayor) decline this quest, it would be possible to bring this thread back at any time in the Department of Finance Report if desired by player.
subject; Department of Finance
pros;
Additional income + $50 per week, fighting unemployment - lots of extra jobs.
cons;
Apart from the fact that it would disrupt the local flora and fauna and random events regarding the protests of local environmental organizations and the surrounding noise, it would generally cause dissatisfaction among the local population.
2a). Mount Pleasant, which is surrounded by a ring of mountains covered with forests, on its outskirts of the city could be the Mountain Eye, or at least that's what the local people would call the lake.
The lake would be a great center for tourists, where city Council could set up a tents and camping site, because each person has different requirements. Some prefer close contact with the nature and the tent is a perfect example of this and they do not complain about the limited conditions at all.
Others, on the other hand, prefer to limit contact with nature and a warm and soft comfortable bed in a safe cabin with local gastronomy is what they really need. The perfect way to escape from big cities to calm their minds.
How to?
A one-time main quest in the game, such as buying cheerleader uniforms, enacting a garbage dump, or setting up a local sawmill.
Should the player (mayor) decline this quest, it would be possible to bring this thread back at any time in the Department of Finance Report if desired by player.
subject; Department of Finance
Subject:
Investing in designating a sector for forest logging (which may not appeal to the local community, who value harmony with nature) to create a campsite along with the expansion of sanitary stations (showers, toilets).
It is worth remembering that with the arrival of tourism, there will also be a lot of unwanted people who, more or less consciously or not, will break the law, so the purchase of police jeeps and quads would be perfect for this type of task.
props;
Additional income from tourism + $5 or $10 per week. Fight against unemployment - a small number of jobs for the local population.
cons:
With the arrival of tourists, there will always be some problems, such as drunken tourists, theft and many other crimes (because people remember evil more than good) and garbage in the city and nearby forests negatively affect the well-being of Mount Pleasant residents.
2b) Mountain climbing and hiking in Mount Pleasant.
How to?
As was the case with the garbage dump, this should be a one-time main quest in the game.
Should the player (mayor) decline this quest, it would be possible to bring this thread back at any time in the Department of Finance Report if desired by player.
subject; Department of Finance (Mount Pleasant Sub-2a Camping Tourism Approval Required)
subject; It seems like a small expense to create paths for hiking, but city have to create some garbage bins every few kilometers and assign someone to empty them, preferably those who "accidentally" can't find a job and sit on the unemployed . It would be useful to create small sectors with wooden tables and benches, where tourists could rest and supplement their needs. In this case, you must not forget about the creation of latrines. All in all, this will be an average expense.
props;
Negligible income from tourism + $5 per week. Fight against unemployment - a small number of jobs for the local population.
cons:
There will always be someone who will complain, not because they don't like something, but because they just like to complain. You can't do anything
additional comment; Considering the fact that people enjoy mountain climbing and hiking, but that often reckless and careless, which are always accompanied by accidents. it would be wise to invest in rescue equipment and law enforcement.
Considering the fact that people can get lost, buying/leasing a police helicopter would also be a good idea. The helicopter would be ideal not only in search of missing tourists or criminals in the mountains, but also in tracking criminals on roads and highways, where there are a lot of side roads.
Do not forget about the medical helicopter, which can reach hard-to-reach places where even the most tuned jeep is not able to reach the injured.
2c) There are many caves in the Mount Pleasant mountain ring. Some were created by nature and the process of time, others as a result of more or less thoughtful decisions of homosapiens.
Either way, it could be used as an additional attraction for tourism. For those who are looking for more challenges and adrenaline than hiking.
subject; Department of Finance (Requires Mount Pleasant Campground 2a approval. However, does NOT require City Council 2b approval.)
subject; Safe "green path" caving tourism should be a Mount Pleasant priority. The green security zone requires the creation of steel platforms, handrails and stairs, as well as the assembly of light stands reinforced with electric generators.
Nevertheless, there are large numbers of people who prefer the "black path" of cave tourism, where people prefer extreme challenges with a great adrenaline experience.
In that case, it would be unwise not to hire people and train them as rescue teams.
3 Mine/Gravel pit
Cash, cash baby. That's what I'm talking about. Mount Pleasant residents enjoy picnics on weekend mornings. In the evenings, however, bonfires and bbq. But screw it, I have a better idea. Bringing in an investor who would open a mine or gravel pit in order to obtain natural resources would be an ideal income for the city, and maybe even for the mayor himself?
subject; Department of Finance
subject; Completely excludes the option of creating a camping resort and creating mountain tourism in Mount Pleasant on the Mountain Eye.
How to?
A one-time main quest in the game. Should the player (mayor) decline this quest, it would be possible to bring this thread back at any time in the Department of Finance Report if desired by player.
subject; Department of Finance
pros;
Additional income + $150 per week, fight against unemployment - lots of extra jobs for locals.
cons;
Apart from the fact that it would disrupt the local flora and fauna and random events regarding the protests of local environmental organizations and the surrounding noise, it would cause great dissatisfaction among the local population in general.
I have a lot of other ideas (more or less interesting) but due to lack of time I am not able to present them now.
What I would also like to add is a bit of our mayor's personal life.
For example, if our mayor woke up early and needed to take a shower. Ok, I know it's a porn game, but I'd really like to see some immersiveness like taking a shower. Eating a great American breakfast (never had the guts to try it as I'm from Europe and have always been curious about honey bacon pancakes) So, nice to see Luna get up early and make breakfast... but only if the player tells her corrupted 60 or more., Then there's ready coffee with pancakes with honey bacon.
On Sunday... whether our mayor is Catholic or not... Mount Pleasant seems to be a very Catholic town, so he wouldn't get the votes... if he didn't go to church with his family on Sunday.
This also gives me an idea that actually took place in remote antiquity.
In the days of the great roman empire there was a ruler of rome named Gaius Iulius Caesar (aka Caligula) who lived from 12 AD to 41 AD ( so he dye 1982 years ago ) inviting senators over for dinner parties, he forced them into groveling at his feet and spectating the sexual orgies in which he forced their wives into. This humiliated the senate to a new extent, as they had to watch their wife engaging in sexual activities and not having any power to stop Caligula if they wished to continue their life.
Random city council events;
-Recycling and new bins.
With the introduction of the law on garbage segregation and recycling, a random event should appear to buy new bins.
Accepting this will;
$X spent on new bins (where X is the sum of dollars)
Rejecting this will;
The dissatisfaction of the inhabitants of Mount Pleasant.
-Tourism
Maintenance of the tourist center, toilets, showers and campsites along with the access road and sidewalks for pedestrians.
Accepting this will;
Spend $X on renovations
Rejecting this will;
Dissatisfaction with tourism (Mount Pleasant residents?)
- The fight against unemployment
The fight against unemployment is the torment of every politician. There are people who, due to various events in their lives, are unable to find a job for themselves, and you can't blame them. Nevertheless, there are people who routinely and constantly use the social assistance of the city of Mount Pleasant. The city council could enact social work, such as garbage collection, for the habitually avoiding work, "rather" no qualifications are needed.
Approval this, it will happen;
The sum of people who deliberately avoid work is so small that it will not noticeably affect the attitudes of Mount Pleasant residents. On the contrary, clean streets and sidewalks will make our city even more attractive.
+1% support for the mayor of Mount Pleasant
Rejecting this will;
I see no reasons why not
- Renovation of the equipment of the city's public services
Exploitation of medical, security and fire service equipment is inevitable, and ignoring them can have catastrophic consequences. Either way, it's time to renovate them.
Accepting this will;
$X spent on renovating city public service equipment
Rejecting this will;
The dissatisfaction of the inhabitants of Mount Pleasant.
- Planting forests
Regardless of how extensive forests Mount Pleasant is surrounded by, the fact of cutting down trees should not be underestimated.
We should not only focus on today, but also think about a better tomorrow for our children and their generations.
For this purpose, it would be worth allocating the crop failure sector for sowing new forests.
This is a very long-term process, so it is worth starting to act today, Mr. Mayor.
Accepting this will;
Expense $X to purchase and plant new trees
Rejecting this will;
Mount Pleasant residents' dissatisfaction, and maybe.... minimal increase in "pollution"?
- Protest of ecologists' associations
The felling of trees in the forests of Mount Pleasant has not gone unnoticed by environmental groups.
****
As I mentioned, due to lack of time, I present only a fragment of ideas.
