Ginga!! people mistaken his art as AI because its often used as AI model, same with the likes of horosuke and mda starou.

Yeah i've looked a bit at the steam convos, another tell would have been if you can set the goddess strength to 999 instead of 500 ? Or something like that ? (Haven't played yet so idk exactly what they're talking about)

Also with what someone else said (still on steam), it kinda makes sense DLC isn't on, as it was released last month and 072 might not have gotten the perms yet.

Did answer my own question too if i can believe yet another user on steam, that it seems for this game, 072 actually did translate it correctly instead of using MTL, though confirmation would still be needed x) (might play soon anyway)

and they've been active since 2008. Obviously, their art-style changed a lot in the... y'know... approximately seventeen years since they started as an artist. If you check their pixiv, you can easily see the progression of their style over the years to its current form, the form also used in this game.

They're a very well known artist with, as you can see, over 480k followers on Twitter alone and an unknown number on pixiv. Though their involvement in making art for stuff that ends up on dlsite is a lot more recent. (The oldest work I can find without VPN-ing to Japan is from 2023)

Seriously...

How are people still thinking that their Mark I eyeball can tell between AI art and any other kind of art... I have no idea...

His supposed AI artstyle has been like that since 2019, before AI truly was a thing.

He's not AI.

yeah, games that utilize AI usually have bazillion amount of CGs. after all, they are near effortless to make
but this game is the opposite
the 5 girls only have 4 poses each, the 3 angels 1 each and the goddess 2, i think?
so, 25 base pose with some variations
the number is on the small side but each one is beautifully done

I know this artist has a good track record and history for their art, but I've seen a couple good artists turn to AI for color-assist so that they can "work" faster and provide more "content" for their followers (their own words btw, not assumption).


It's good if B-Ginga isn't using AI and I know the allegations suck but unless this is a real passion project, full artwork for four heroines is a lot for what looks like a quickie game (rpg maker, uninspired premise, etc).

Goddess Quest was published on DLsite 10/5/24.

Earliest mention I can find of it in Kemono's archive of B-ginga's fanbox is 10/3/23.

B-ginga spent about a year on it (more once you count the work for the DLC), on top of doing stuff basically every week for his Fanbox.

title feels misleading, the goddess doesn't even act all that badly, it's just hard for her to not look at a total waste of space and tell him he's cool and special, and then he gets all pissy that she didn't praise all of the nothing that he's done and tries to mind control her, and she justifiably punishes him for it. i get games where you play as a scumbag and stuff, but "teach their place" implies that they're arrogant or entitled, she just kinda acted like a normal person would lol
not a huge complaint, just found it kinda funny how reasonable Ciel is in her initial dialogue
