Lazy twat because I don't want to check if there's an update to one of my thousands of games every day? And like I said, they didn't delete my game, it still works, it was just taken out of my library.

Those who believe "you don't own the games" forget that a torrent can also die, and a pirated version can disappear from the internet. Of course, the chances are slim and depend heavily on the game's popularity, but the likelihood of problems with Steam is also low, and other stores can also block access to purchases, and the smaller the store, the greater the chance of it closing.

And storing all the downloads on your own requires a hard drive, which costs money and can also fail. Plus, there's the possibility that with a Windows update and hardware update, even if the game files are there, they may stop working.

I store my favorite porn games as pirated versions on my hard drive, in my cloud storage, and on Steam. Even here, it's not 100% safe, but it's close.

What I mean is that everything has its risks: torrents die, file-sharing services delete files and close, as do cloud services, your hard drive dies, Steam can delete/remove it, there is no ultimate solution.

Giving up my hobby because there is a 0.5% chance that something unpleasant will happen is not my choice.

Also, to the twat going on "Steam is a bad store, you don't own anything": every single digital store has the same issue, games can be removed from your library, even for GOG. The issue doesn't lie in the library but the DRM. But a lot of games on steam work without the Steam DRM. (Proof: this game, if you have it installed before the takedown you can still play it)

And I also need to point out that outside of steam, games have nearly no visibility. So when adult games were allowed, a lot of them saw their sales rise a lot, and some studios were even saved by that.

Steam isn't a perfect store, but until now there wasn't another store who was better or at least just as good.

If this is true, the developers are geniuses for putting themselves in such a dangerous position. The character designs are certainly appropriate for ages 18+; they clearly weren't designed children.

Or 072 just doesn't give a shit at all. The translation quality is arse and they forgot they're selling on Steam so some liberties needed to be done.

This is kind of fascinating to see, since you have to realize that most of the girls in hentai are in the 15 to 17 range and the various English publishers are just fudging their ages? 072 forgot to bother and Steam had to blast the game right off the service for violating TOS, I bet.

The 15-to-17 thing isn't new, the Japanese have been obsessed with high school girls for decades.

You basically have to be wandering off into either NTR or shotacon to get smut where the girls are 18+. (Like, it never fucking fails. If the women are obviously adults, then the content will nearly always be about infidelity or little boys.)

Japan's complete disinterest in college-age girls raises so, so many questions.

that last one is awful 100 floors. its just straight up boring to climb them all. and despite my ability to oneshot every other boss I cant even get it her below %20 and since there is no saving there well guess you got to spend another 30mins to a hour climbing the tower again. I could grind money till i get enough potions to actually stand a chance but i already maxed out all levels and used 100s of potions to get to the point i was at. not worth it for a single still image.

I agree it's so *******. Thanks to Fazer save I don't have to grind all the stats increase so there only two thing I need to do get+20 Weapon that increase highest atk stats that also give 100+crit and 100+Acc for Ashia (Upgrade it with Highest Power gem only also make her skill for boss fight are double action, power memory, goddess might and absorb HP) & get armor accessory for MC&Noel&Ashia while climbing the tower. Well I guess after climb through 100 you can skip entire thing for rematch even when you lose make it better I guess XD.
Ps. If you already have enough stats and the "Heal S & Full range for both MC&Noel" Make MC&Noel has 100+evasion with highest hp/mp/def/mdef as you can then build the frontline as MC,Noel,Ashia then just do heal, heal, attack and everything is over you don't need anything extra item or technique just brain dead XD.

You didn't have to clime the tower again. The game allows you to warp straight to the boss once you reached there once to make reattempting/farming them easy.

I highly doubt thats the case. You can clearly see the generic AI features and art style all over aside from inconsistency in their style on Twitter and how the patterns look all weird. Even AI detectors are saying its AI. And aside from their previous style from 2008 to 2020, with this "new art style" they are relatively a new artist with low amount of followers. I don't know how the AI that was feeding on art back in 2018 can steal from someones style who recently started using this art style this 1.5 year with only this game? Because anything before that their art style is nothing like this at all. If It was gradually changing as art I wouldve understand but nope, its a sudden jump to this style, just for this game.

It is not uncommon especially for japanese artists as most didnt care about "AI being bad" to switch to AI with touchups these days. You can find this with a few extremely popular talented artists too. (For ex: Nikke main artist)

Like others have said, the artist does not use AI and they have been doing artworks for years before AI generated art's even a thing

Holy moly, using an AI detector to label any artwork as AI-generated is a terrifying prospect for the artistic future. If I was given the choice to trust the algorithm of an AI or the words of person, I choose people over machines. The day people start believing in these artificial detectors will mark the dissolution of trust and authenticity in artists and fans alike.
