Because I can't remember the last time I got a woody from gazing at my Magic Chef in my kitchen? On the other hand, bend Amy or Melody over in front of it while taking a turkey out of it while she's wearing nothing but an apron, and I'll pay for the next update too. Regardless of what the dials look like.

If and when I start getting hard-ons from looking at my kitchen appliances, I'm gonna get a psych eval. ;-)

Seriously, Melody Is THE Game of the year so far, for me at least.
I remember hating Melody at first, i saw the game as the bad replacement of DMD, but then i tried the game and it gained a place in my heart so fast, that i never felt sad about DMD's Situation again, i mean, i still love DMD, and the moments that the game and his characters (Elena and Daughter most of the Time) gave me will never be forgotten, but Melody... Melody (the game and the girl) Is something else, Its so goddamn well written that the game could be a TV drama or a novel, its so hard to reject any of the girls cause all of them feel real.
Melody Is above all the games around here and has Infinite potential, MR Dots plays in another league.

I used to feel this way. Then I found the F95 Zone community and became exposed to so many other games. Now Dots has fallen several ranks down on my list. DMD was one of the first games I played in this genre, and it set a high bar. But his atrociously slow pacing and janky renders have started to grate on me. Only because I see other games doing it so much better.

Simply my two cents.

LBH is Lancaster Boarding House, and DA is most likely Depraved Awakening since it's ranked #1. (Could be an acronym for Dating Anna as well) Everybody has different preferences and if you search (and play) around enough you'll find content that you'll really enjoy, which makes this site great.

I really like the cute story of Melody, and the slow burn leading up to the content makes it more realistic than many other VN's. On top of that, the music is excellent. (Disclosure: This is my personal opinion and in no way tries to represent a majority or force this view upon others)

Also as a side note, try and limit mentioning other games/try not to mention other games because it's considered off topic to the game in question.

You know how much I respect you and the amount of work you've put into Dr Amana is quite a bit. I think everyone agrees that MrDots is known for his very slow burn pacing but in Melody, but you have to admit that the pacing's not at the slowest pace. Personally, I agree with you that Melody's not the best out there (My personal opinion) but it's not far off the top.

Sorry yeah Depraved awakening, lancaster boarding house and acting lessons are my top 3. I would also put a lot more up there but we have sort of derailed this thread. LoL.

He's not nice: he's an asshole who's having affairs with 4 women at the same time, pretending that it's NOT happening and telling himself that he's a good guy and he's not hurting any of them.

I don't see the problem yet as it's only been just the first couple dates with some and/or casual sex/fun with others. He hasn't become in an exclusive committed relationship with anyone yet.

Hopefully there will be options to break it off with others when the MC has made the decision, either when a love interest asks for that kind of relationship or before, aside from the bad choices that just piss some off like Becca.

Hume, let me know the games you are speaking of. I’m always working to keep MDots’ work in the top of the bunch. Since I don’t have a lot of time to play the multitude of games, a point in the right direction would be great.

Slow pacing is probably not going to change as that’s a style he prefers.

I'll shoot you a message regarding the two games that displaced DMD and Melody from the top slots.

I can respect that slow pacing is simply the reality of a Mr. Dots game and I don't begrudge him that. My opinion is 100% subjective and strictly limited to what I personally enjoy, which a slight faster pace. I don't believe it should be quick like a porno, but strong powerful strides would be nice.

But with the renders, I've attached a couple of examples of what I'm referring to. To be fair, in the last year Fecalmancer and I have to spent a lot of time really cranking our Daz game up as high as we can. With 11 months of Daz experience under out belt, we consider ourselves amateur 3D artists.

But even as amateurs, stuff like this bothers us tremendously for two reasons. The first, is that half of the issues below are side effects of using ready-made poses on partially compatible models. Using ready made poses is a good way to save time, but you still need to fine tune the pose to work with your model, which takes a mere moment. Thus the second reason why these things bother us so much is that they take literally mere seconds to correct. So not fixing them just makes the visuals feel lazy.

I don't mean to be a harsh critic, but when Fecal and I catch each other making these kinds of mistakes, we bounce the render back to each other and demand to fix them. Sometimes things still slip through and we try to fix them on later iterations, but in Mr. Dots work they are rampant.

We're not trying to tear it apart, and for it is worth, I'm still a Patron of Mr. Dots going on 14 months now and I'm not planning to pull my pledge any time soon.

But these are easy things to fix and it's a bit irksome no one cares enough about the visual quality to fix them. That's all.

Depends, some old saves worked, and some others did not. Mine was the second choice, i had to start again, but i enjoy that game, so it was not that hard to do.

Thanks for letting us know that, we really do appreciate the fact that you took the time to write that down here. I mean, your motives make so much sense, you raise such good points to back up your claim, i bet no one here seen things from your perspective...wow, a true eye opener. Everyone here now feel way smarter after reading your post.
Don't want to bash you or anything but net time please be a peach and try to make at least some sense. If you took precious time out of your day to post that and let us all know how you feel i'm sure you could add a few more words to how and why, not to mention that every thread here has an rating system where you could do just that.
