It's a pity this story keeps being so vanilla. Melody should meet many assholes trying to take advantage of her on her way of becoming a rock star. In fact, she has only met one, the MC. The ex-boyfriend does not count.

Mr Dots knows how to tell a story, though. I love the beginning, how his relation with Bethany ends, how he wants to get away from it all, and how he meets Melody and all the other, amazing girls. It makes sense and it feels real.

The only thing that, I feel, is really missing is a good sound track. It is screeming for some good rock music.

This is a LOVE story, not a DRAMA!! so no need for "the drama" of having assholes hit on her as it would distract from the love story which again is what the game story is based on a NICE LOVE STORY!!

Can't people just let others be?? we are all different with different taste/opinions on things in life, same here you have games for all different taste! this one is vanilla!

You can't make everybody happy and I don't think anyone should try. I have great respect for the talent and work of mr Dots. I think he should foremost tell the story he wants to tell and he shouldn't be bothered too much of what others think of it. That includes my opinion.

I feel like the current "Team Rocket" of Steve and MC's ex are too corny and we know they won't pose a real threat anyway, so I feel they're a bit pointless. Even if there's no scarier bad guy than them planned for the future, I think the game could totally work without Steve and Mc's ex.

There isn't much more they can do with this now, it's getting close to wrapping up.

Melody is starting her career, the girls that are leaving town for other jobs will be leaving and your choice of romantic partner will be kicking in and you either manage Melody or move on.

Having those 2 around is dragging it out for no good reason.

They are no threat, like I said, they only have juvenile bullshit left. They are no serious threat, the most they can do is what they have now short of sticking their tongue out and blowing raspberries at everyone they have outstayed their welcome and are more a detriment to the story.

I'm reluctant to call them Team Rocket, they had comedy value. Those 2 are like getting piles and hemorrhoids at the same time because they are both pains in my arse.

I would be more interested in the music industry setting if Melody and MC had to deal with some tyrant producer who forces them to make impossible choices ("you should appear to date this famous rapper in the tabloids, it would be good for your career" then the rapper wants to push for more realism in the fake relationship, "music video director is super talented but he might ask you to do innapropriate things, feel free to fix your own limits, but unfortunately this guy is the best we have and it would be best to be in good terms with him", things like that.

I hope this "dark side of the entertainment industry" will be an aspect of the game in the future.

This I don't agree with.

It's a romance based dating sim, that would change it completely. It would work in another game and does in Shining Song Starnova but for this it would be so out of place it's not even funny.

Also remember while Melody loves what she does she isn't career hungry, hates fake bullshit and has a pretty strong will. It would be out of character for her to agree with any of that let alone the MC with all his connections letting it happen to someone he cares about.

She'd walk away before she was treated like that.

As a patron, I feel that I have a small right to be able to complain, but, since I have no complaints other than the already mentioned several times bugs. I'll just go away and enjoy the game.

No, it wouldn't make sense at all. First and foremost, neither Melody, Amy or Becca is the type to be so easily tempted to fuck around and cheat. Secondly, corruption is such a cliche, and there isn't time to build up on it anyway.

So according to your logic every FEMALE singer in the world had to fuck someone other then who ever is in there life and cuck them to make it big?

We know that CAN be partially TRUE in some cases but not ALL!! so no need for NTR as in the REAL world it could or not happen, the decision would be on Melody and not MC as if it's forced NTR would be RAPE!! and that my friend is another subject this game does not have/cover/ include nor will have as is not that type of story!

So going back to your more REALISTIC is just that a 50/50 chance of happening but in this case NTR does not happen as melody is not that kinda of girl!!!
and they let you know upfront! if you need to get your jollies off with NTR there are plenty of games for that!

Lets just say i like strong MC,this game barely have any other story other than vanilla and...too vanilla!..i want to see Melody get threaten to give blowjob or to having sex with some asshole in music company or she will never have the job she want,and before she answer,the MC enter right on time,where there is an options,beat the shit out of them like a badass or become a cuck..thats what i mean..just like i said,MC look weak here,he get threaten by his ex and Melody is the one protect him..THE FUCK??he should just stand on his own and said what he want..he is a man,not a cuck..and other things,what with many girls if it end with one girl??,it should have a harem ending,this game maybe for a guy that doesnt have any experience with relationship in their life,so this game might be for their fantasy,im not against it,but soo many potential here,such a waste,really..(just my opinion)

The path where Melody is in the girlfriend status and the relationship with Amy has ended (if v_w7_melody_girlfriend == True and v_rel_amy == False), is also buggy, starting from the after recording session scene at Melody's front door.
The path can be fixed by making Xianne's call scene a subroutine and leaving the last 2 mc's thought lines in it reserved to Amy relationship path only (if v_rel_amy).
Without the fix the scene after Melody stays home and refuses from the dinner date, the script passes through the Xianne call scene, tells you that there's supposed to be a dinner with Melody (that she just refused from having) and continues with the Amy scene after the dinner that is supposed to belong to the Amy path.

Not to mention that 3 lines of Melody's thoughts before the studio sex scene have been mistakenly assigned to mc.

No, doesn't fit a story like this, MrDots has always made warmhearted vanilla stories, it's his style, hardcore content like NTR and cuckold and corruption like that wouldn't fit the setting/story AT ALL, not the setting nor the characters. In example Melody is a very strong willed young lady, even though she's never dreamed of doing anything else than music, she still rather give up on it than let herself be blackmailed etc to do sexual favors, she's not weak-minded at all.
I'm perfectly happy with the story being vanilla, not all games need to be hardcore, not all games need to have NTR, not even as an optional thing, certain things just don't fit certain elements and settings.

I 100% agree that NTR tropes wouldn't fit this game at all and it would look forced and gamebreaking at this point. But I would like to see an optional route that makes Mel more sexually confident and adventurous, leading to kinkier encounters and possbile group scenes. Always with the MC involved of course and no cucking. I mean a wild night after a concert with lots of booze would be on par with rockstar lifestyle. The studio quickie in this update hints on her becoming more sexually aggressive after all.

I don't know if you did that for comedic effect but just in case you were serious it has been stated many, many, maaaaany times there is no harem path.
