Regarding Melody's actions at the karaoke bar.
I have no problems with the owner's rules about no food in the rooms. She was a bit bitchy about it, and it would be really inconvenient for customers, but it is her place of business and she is allowed to set the rules, within reason.
I have some minor problems with Melody's theft, she shouldn't have done it, but she was pissed, hungry, and at least somewhat drunk, plus she owned up to it later. It's something I feel humanises her a bit.
It was the owner's actions regarding the new girl that bug me. Firing someone without evidence, just suspicions that they were responsible for two missing plates of entrees, that's a bit of an over-reaction. Asking her about the missing food, sure. Putting her on notice and watching her carefully, yep. But firing on what is probably a first offense? That's too much.

Melody... a game about music, without any music.
I know the dev's got a lot on his hands but adding a little themed music would be appropriate imo.
Also I really thought some parts could actually have wordings like where MC takes Melody to the theater or MC playing for sick Melody. At least a few lines - just to know what sort of mood the song/show sets.

The new girl, Xianne, said that it was her first night on the job, so therefore it's possible she could've been on a trial or probation that night. Yes it seems a bit extreme for the boss lady to sack her without evidence, but not completely unbelievable as it is her bar, she seems quite uptight, and most business owners in her position can sack a person without giving a reason.
Her attitude towards Melody makes me believe even more that she is suspicious of everyone, especially people she has only just met, and she expects perfection at all times from her staff.
Anyways, I hope we see Xianne in a much more fulfilling job role in the future!

Maybe... but the game is about a musician who becomes a music tutor - music is a unifying thread for the story but the game is not about music really... besides, I always turn off the music when I play porn games anyway! :closedeyesmile::closedeyesmile:

Definitely better than DMD. Melody doesn't seem to be mentally 8-years old, so that's a plus.
This is turning into a great game. I dearly hope the MC gets to know Sophie soon, she's like an Elena 2.0 to me, not only sexier but also a more believable character. A scenario in which the MC takes the two cocky teen friends under his wing and brings them into adulthood, if ya know what I mean, would be perfect. I'd prefer an open love triangle between MC, Melody and Sophie over what they did with DMD, in which you have to sneak with Elena while having a loving relationship with the daughter, as that always made me feel kinda bad.
On another note, I think we might discover that Xianne is a really talented musician, maybe a drummer or a bassist, and she ends up jamming with the MC and Melody. Perhaps we'll eventually find two more lovely young ladies (may or may not include Sophie) and they'll form a band, with Melody as the singer/lead guitarist, and MC as the manager that is helping the ladies relieve stress between concerts, teaching them to play the flute etc *wink wink*.

Getting ready to download v2. I understand the extras are included. Do I need to do anything to see them in the game? Or are they a seperate viewing? I don’t really understand the concept of extras. Why aren’t they just included in the game?

The concept of the extras does only affect people who are willing to pay. Pay more you get some benefits others don't get. As a pirate you simply have to suffer under the unhuman cirumstances to click on two links.

Having music means enhancing the effect that unifying thread brings about. The game's about interactions like any other porn game but enhancing the thing that intertwines the essential aspects of the game would help convey it's essence with more effect.
The game doesn't need music to be a great game, heck it's already a masterpiece! I just felt such an addition would complement it's already existing features.
Well for me, music really helps sets the scene better. So that last part is just our opinions, I guess.

Yeeeeah, but then we get into the subject of WHAT music. Whatever you choose, some players are going to love it and others are going to hate it. Yes, you can always mute the music (I do anyway), but I'd rather MrDots concentrates on other aspects of the game rather than bothering with that.
