the new content is all in the island town to the south. Talk to the dragon outside off the clothing store and give him an emerald to unlock it.

I think i might be missing the "Bitchhiker" costume.

I copied my old saves over to the new version but when I load one of my saves right before the ending (castle is fully built), there is no dragon outside the clothing store. Are there other criteria that need to be met? I know it's a short game but I don't really want to invest the next couple of hours grinding away again just to see the new stuff.

EDIT: I should clarify that I know full saves have been shared and I know they probably include the new content, but I want to be able to play through the new stuff myself rather than just look at the CG's.

EDIT 2: Nevermind, I figured it out. Apparently in this save I never did the artist subquest. In case anyone else is having trouble finding the new stuff, don't be like me.

To find where the new content begins, make sure you've finished the sidequest related to a certain struggling artist and find him in your castle!

Welp. Finished the artist quest but he won't appear at the castle, probably because I already finished the main quest line. I guess I need to start over. Not one of my saves have the new content available, after my first play through I skipped the artist subquest completely because it wasn't necessary to get any other endings or scenes.

Never thought I'd say this but I'll play this later. I really don't feel like grinding through the game again (the Y ending is the most grindy too). It's a short game overall but I've probably played through this game 10 or 15 times now.

If anyone has a save that starts up just as the new content becomes available I would appreciate if you could share it. You'll be saving me a few hours of spamming the Enter and Ctrl keys. :|

well you don't really need to grind, it's a RPG MV Maker game so, find the cheat hook, cheat your lvl to max and then cruising the game, most of my RPG game was done the same way. Thank you to Cheat Engine

Good call! I'm not sure why I hadn't considered using a save editor, I've done it for so many other games. Thanks for saving me a couple of hours.

For those guys who really can't be bothered to play this amazing game... Here's a save that has unlocked everything. It has gotten every achievement on Steam too.

It's more like we can't be bothered to run it through another time. The problem with great games is that the experience REALLY dilutes when you go through the same thing one, two, three, ten times over, and Meltys Quest is at least worth 3 replays.

This, exactly. Meltys Quest is one of my favorite RPGM games and it's one of the few H-games that I've spent hours replaying to acquire every single item and beat it on every single ending in both difficulties (at first I thought there was an extra bonus for getting every ending in Kogal mode so I did that before even touching Princess difficulty).

It's definitely a game that is worth replaying a lot, but even your favorite games can get a bit dull after 10-15 playthroughs.

all H-RPG game like this require a certain patience for grinding, both for normal exp and also the H-exp or "moral point" and most of the time I don't even bother with the normal exp because gameplay in H-game not particularly good or interesting

first question, are saves from older versions viable on this most current version?


so i managed to randomly walk past two objects I shouldn't have been able to walk past. i'd rather not redo like 3 hours of playtime, but I'm stuck in a spot i cannot move out of. Does anyone know how to edit the save to move the character to a different tile, which variable controls that. or how to clip my way out of the area I'm stuck in?

I struggled to find the cat after beating the game (this unlocks the whole CG), so for those who are struggling, to get to the cat, go to castle's balcony, there should be a ladder that takes you up another level at the back. Climb up the ladder and the cat should be on the right in the corner.

Go right and then towards the back (away from you), it should be on the wall
