But the whole premise of the story was about the MC and his memories. Playing as her changes things completely It's basically a new game.

For those who prefer to skip Nicole's POV, it's as simple as that - just skip it and your concern is resolved!

It's not the point the premise of the whole story is about a guy thinking of his past how does controlling Nicole fit in with that? He can't read her mind or anything.I'm totally with ya!
So folks who ain't feeling it can just bounce right past it, no biggie!
I'm straight up stoked about having this POV, ain't gonna lie!
If the dev wants to, he can easily make it optional later, and ya can just hit the skip button whenever ya feel like skippin' it, no biggie!

I think I would like Nicole's path... It seems to work well in " Exploring the big Apple " I just don't want the Dev to get too bogged down by it.

It's not optional, I already said that. Sure I can ctrl skip, but it still drastically changes the whole premise.

This is akin to forcing NTR on the NTRS or faithful paths. I asked on Patreon if it would be avoidable; dev said no. So it's forced on everyone. Holding down CTRL is not a good solution. Only an absolute nugget would believe that.

When coming to wife pov or mc imagination of what wife told, it is a bit useful for those who chose to share wife/ wife cheat. You already know how she will act.(bad for those want things keep mysterious) For those chose not to share wife, it is completely waste of time.

After all, 80% of popular games in this genre include this POV. I could name numerous well-known games in this genre that feature it because it's ultimately necessary, unless the player is a masochist who doesn't want to see the FMC's justifications and prefers to suffer in the dark.

It's not necessary, and FMC games always treat the woman like a slut or cum dump with no respect to choices or branching.

That the problem porn brought with, almost every porn movie is based on women who are cum dumps and it no better in VN world, ofcourse there are loving and respectful vn too, but those involving Harem, NTR, Bulls, Corruption meters, it all made to make women depraved easy cum sluts.
This depends on player choices and developer decisions, not on seeing the POV.
Whether you see this POV or not, those events will still occur.

If we take NTR projects where it is possible to see two perspectives, i first always play the MMC perspective for Mistery NTR and then the FMC perspective to see the events from her point of view and the sex scenes!
When the dev knows how to manipulate perspectives, then in the MMC pesp. it seems to you that something happened (mystery NTR), but when playing FMC you will find out the truth!

You misunderstood my point, I never suggested showing Nicole's POV before the MC's.
The best approach would be to allow players to view the day's events from Nicole's perspective after the day is complete, similar to popular games like Perfect Marriage, Exploring the Big Apple, and others.
This is unfortunate news, and suggests the fundamental flow and story beats will be very different from what I thought it would be. That's the worst part of including a female pov in any game, unlike individual scenes which can be chosen or not chosen, this style fundamentally changes the design ethos of a game.
Make no mistake, any inclusion of "Meanwhile, from her POV" is hard turn towards out of sight cheating/ntr themes as it literally serves no purpose in other genres. With the first release this game drew heavily on ntr/cheating themes, but then with the second it progressed more towards swinging or cuckqueen themes. In my mind that's what this debate is really about.
When you say you could "name numerous games in this genre that feature this theme", you're talking about the the hard ntr genre, not the more couple-focused genre this appeared to be in the second update.
Exactly, "female pov" is just shorthand for "slut-em-up-fem-protag snoozefest". It's not like games include a female pov to show her crocheting or going to spin class.
