I agree with the first line. The rest...
My point is that these members whine about all the ways the dev is wrong or not doing things the members' preferred way.

Hands up who went for some fun with Megan while Nicole was out on her date? If she's out having fun then, why shouldn't the MC also. I do hope that John tells her about it though, she seems kinda into it also. Or that the dev at least gives us the option to be honest and tell her.

I couldn't disagree more, you can charge 3, 5$ and win in quantity, and charge 10, 20$ and lose supporters. the difference is that you're making the game accessible to everyone.

From Nicole's POV, you could prevent another man from approaching her
Choices like drinking or not drinking, watching or intervening, and decisions made in front of the computer all lead to two different paths
You can completely prevent Jayden's advancements or not
And some say there's probably a "vanilla" path too, meaning neither the MC nor the FMC get involved with anyone else sexually
If you're looking for the Netorare path, the developer said it's avoidable, meaning it will exist – in fact, it has already. However, some argue they aren't enough to be labeled as cheating, while others disagree
Yes, I agree that the paths might not feel distinctly separate right now, perhaps more intertwined. But don't you agree that we haven't reached the high-tension stages yet? That's when the distinctions between cheating, sharing, and FFM will feel much more pronounced

I'm looking at the bit where you can say to Nicole not to set up a date, and possible requiring also telling her not to flirt at the gym, then when you get home that evening she's "working late" - is she actually working late, or is she doing something else, like maybe going on that date anyway, or letting her frustrations loose in a bar with her friend and some guys? I don't know where it will lead, but that could be the start of the NTR route, as it would certainly fit the mould used in many other games like this...
And she keeps asking permission because that's what they agreed to - they would "go through the door" together or not at all. She can't stay true to that if she doesn't know he's on the same page.

This is why I believe that NTS and NTR doesn't and shouldn't mix in a VN. Dev's should do one or the other, not try to do both.

All that psycho talk isn't sitting right with me. You get the feeling the story only goes forward with a mandatory handbook managing feelings and giving tasks and advice. For the dev this is a risk. By making every inner step of the characters explicit he drives those viewers away who interpret the inner feelings of the characters differently. Only one single interpretation remainns possible, ambiguity is killed. If you don't share this specific psychological script, your immersion is broken.
