Based on this post, he hasn't entered the rendering phase yet
If we want to guess based on the developer's own words, rendering should take 2 to 3 months, meaning the entire update should take 3 to 4 months -- likely between 600 and 1000 renders
And if I remember correctly, he recently upgraded his system and now has a powerful graphics card

He promised faster updates, since 0.3 took him 4 months because of "technical issues".

Either he finishes rendering the update in just under 2 months, or this dev is blowing smoke in our faces.

What has changed?

I really don't know
But personal preference: I prefer a large update in 4 months (double the content) over a small update in 2 months
(Especially recently, with these "phone games" coming out where each update is only 5 minutes long, this preference has intensified! )

We'll have to see why it's taking longer. Maybe double the content? The problem is that he doesn't go online for some reason and we probably won't know the answer to this question anytime soon

You are confusing the number of renders and content, because your first statement was correct!
I can agree that i am ready to wait 4 months if there is content in the new update. I hope you understand what content i am talking about?

There's a difference between "can't get online" and "doesn't get online". Some people aren't great at marketing, so you get devs who put out their releases and even if they're as regular as clockwork, they might not give any status updates in between. Maybe they don't feel like they need to, maybe they don't know what to write, maybe they're not very organised and they literally just don't remember to do it (or perhaps more likely, they just don't think to do it, because maybe it's not important to them).

Basically what I'm saying is I'm sure the dev can get online, he just might not have the desire to come here (or to his Patreon, etc.) to answer these specific questions.

The track record of this game in this regard has been positive so far. Every update has contained good sexual scenes and teasing, and story progression

For example, the last update:
Nicole's mother entered the story
We learned about her relationship with Nicole and her backstory
The MC got a promotion, a personal office, and a personal secretary in his job
A sexual scene with Nicole's mom
The bar scene which could be a turning point for NTR or cuckolding

My point is that I was satisfied with the story and sexual content of this update. The track record has been positive, and I hope it stays this way in the future

Yes, but the 0.3 version did not have a large number of renders, but due to problems with the dev's PC, it went into a 4-month timeing, although in terms of the number of renders and content, such an update could have come out in 2+ months, i.e. if we are talking about development in 4 months, then I hope to see a double portion as part 0.3 and not the same!

He is definitely interested in gaining more patrons and fans; he's said this several times. He even once mentioned that a comment upset him and made him a bit discouraged

To be fair to the dev, is that even true? I'm not a patron so I dont know. It's one thing to go radio silent to everyone (probably ill-advised), quite another thing to ignore the f95 masses and focus on your customer base (very understandable)

Johnny... F95 is a big part of his customer base. These are the future subscribers. If they read the thread and see he is not communitive and missing set dates... they are less likely to subscribe. I thought somewhere he mentioned hey release would be this month... May ??

Posts on the last few pages say that he communicates very little on Patreon too, just like here
Of course, in my previous post, I didn't say anything bad about the developer. I said that it's highly probable his belief is that there's no need for communication. I didn't say anything about whether his belief is right or wrong

All that is good. awhile back I kinda got after him for not doing what he said ...and the lack of communication to deliver that news. So I think that comment by him may have been directed to me. I like this game and WANT Him to succeed. I can't believe he has bot been here since 4/22 .. I guess his delivery of the release is in jeopardy for end of May.

I do too ! But I people want to communicate with dev's. Tell them ideas for future events in a game.. They like to see a Dev engaged. This is what also prompts people to subscribe to a dev and game. They feel they are getting more for the money so to speak. ( maybe not... just my opinion )

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to quickly clear things up regarding the release date, since I’ve seen a few questions and discussions around it. My original plan was to release the update by the end of May and honestly, I’m still aiming for that. Let’s just say it’s the deadline I’ve set for myself to stay motivated. That said, if I can’t make it in time, my goal is to push even harder after that and get it out as soon as possible. When the time comes, I’ll be able to give a more specific idea of the release date based on how much progress I’ve made. Just know that I’m doing my best to get it out as early as possible.
