Best way to describe this honestly. Netori typically is only you fucking around. No other guys.

Um, I wouldn't pay attention to them then man, cause they're hilariously wrong.

To fully explain it, using their translations to english (yeah, NTR/Netorare doesn't translate to cuckolding despite what some MTLs may give you):

Netoru is the root word, meaning "To take". Netori and Netorare are their own independant words built from Netoru. (which are also used as genres)

NTR only stands for Netorare, which includes Netorase because Netorase is built from Netorare, i.e. a sub-genre. (basically think NTR to mean NeToRa, to keep it simple.)

The Rare, making Netoru into Netorare turns it into "To be taken from." (with rase being that, but MC is either causing it to happen, or a willing participant in them being taken from).
This is why it doesn't mean cuckolding, because it isn't specific to husband/wife relationships, but MC having any connection.

While the ri in Netori, turns it into "To take from."

As you can see, the terms have nothing to do with gender, methodology, race, species, level of relationship, etc.

Some say BSS and NTR are different, which for segregation of genre, sorta, but BSS is a specific type of NTR.

There is some confusion, because of a "Three types of NTR" thing, which vndb uses, but all are Netorare, type A,B,C. Cuckolding/Rape/Mindbreak to put it simply.

p.s. don't ask me why f95 adds jealousy in their definition, maybe cause vndb did? but it is not required at all. nor is it in the words to begin with.

Bonus: Netono, where the "no" basically cancels out, and just basically means vanilla.

Reverse-NTR: where MC is the one being stolen. (keen eyes will realise that Netori is also a reversal of NTR, where the reversal is MC and the person stealing, while Reverse-NTR is MC and the one being stolen).

Game has netori in the title but spends more time shoving netorare in your face. Your "revenge" so far is fucking the office slut and your wife after she gets done cheating on you earlier in the day. Was hyped cause the overview made it sound like the MC was gonna be a no-nonsense imma get my revenge type of person, but he is so painfully insufferable and weak. Felt like the title and overview mislead a lot of people.

From what I understand you basically HAVE to have windows 10. So if you don't that's probably why. I'm not really sure why its that way, I haven't seen other games with that issue, just this one. You could try running it in compatibility mode, that might help, but I'm not positive

surprisingly there are several VN's that have this issue. I have a couple from Miel that just outright refuse to work. the jump between 8/10/11 was the cause of some weird cheese.

I'm ok with cheating and stealing lovers etc, starting off as a weak male, I mean losing your patner happens for a reason, but I'm not a big fan of STAYING weak although I understand some may. I'd like the opportunity to grow, get revenge, get strong, move on, steal them back, share them, but claim them, etc. Hopefully, the aim of the game heads in a direction where we have those types of options instead of remaining incredibly weak and hopeless.

Well the windows 11 issue still persists. I wonder how that even happens. This is the first game on here that I've played that's done this.
The translation is better, could still use work but it is better. Content wise it was a disappointing update, no new content. There are slight improvements with the MC's dialogue, he actually sounds like he wants revenge and has a fire lit under him. Next update I'm hoping for more content cause honestly this update was barely one. But the dev is doing this in their free time and they're new so I'll cut them some slack for now.

The dev needs to start getting to those revenge scenes if they want retention. Only so much time people are willing to wait for some revenge.

Thank you for your comment, the problem that you comment with windows 11 I don't know if it is a performance issue or something similar since I programmed the game and I have tested it in windows 11 but I have not been able to replicate the problem , I am sorry, the same as an option that I can provide would be the online game.
In the next update I will add more content, only that my main concern at this point is to fix the translation issue since the previous one had several failures for it I hired another translation service in this new update.

I did try the online version and it has the same problem. This is really the only game I've had the problem with. When I play it on my computer that has windows 10 it works perfectly fine but on my laptop that has windows 11 it just lags like crazy. Who knows what it is.

Wait, this was a game where the MC took revenge on the women who treated him badly... and now he has NTR? What a way to screw up a story in a silly way.

EDIT: According to Dev, the idea is the same, only it didn't have the tag before, someone whined and they put it on, but in reality there is no NTR "line", only the events that already existed, let's hope it stays that way.
