Thank you for correcting me, I've edited my post. I was thinking about it being ~6 months since I played an update, don't know how long ago it was was exactly, but I last played v0.24 so it's been a longer wait for me. Regardless, I'm glad Nefastus is back, I was fearing the worst, Midlife Crisis is a masterpiece, it deserves to be finished, and Nefastus needs to keep making great VNs.
Since the dev was sick he could not update properly/on time, so if the update had only 1 scene that's understandable, there should be story content also included. For having disappeared without a trace for 3+ months, things could have turned out much worse than an update with 1 scene. Games have been abandoned for much lesser reasons than the developer's death, and being admitted to hospital means it was serious, so I'm glad to have anything at all. I was just pointing out that we should take what we can get, this is a pirate site after all.
