Yes, that's exactly the same thing.......I'm waiting for the return of Amelia Earhart. No confirmation from her too.
It's pretty rare for devs to "confirm" they've abandoned their game.Yepp, as I said, no confirmation from Nef about it being abandoned.
He already had his own family and friends problem, so yeah maybe it is karma.Maybe dev having his own midlife crisis
i think it might have something to do with missed update cycles but it did seem pretty quick to get it when other games we dont talk about have good like 2+years with nothing and have not been slapped with abandoned tags.it too soon to be tagged abandoned.... right? the time for tht should be over 1 year without any update if I remember.
unless something really happened.
is this really abandoned? (a pity if it is, I love that curly red hair young lady with a chickie but playful atitude lol not just her looks)
Actually it's 18 months without an update. However, the other rule is 3 months of radio silence (about the game, a dev postng images from his trip to Cancun wouldn't count as breaking silence)it too soon to be tagged abandoned.... right? the time for tht should be over 1 year without any update if I remember.
The last update or two before radio silence definitely showed a change in the writing. The usual sharp wit wasn't there, the story almost seemed a bit forced.Dev starting to work on an alternate story is always a worrying sign, like they're checked out of the game and looking for something else.
That being said, I'm not ready to give up on this, it's one of the best porn games I've played. Hoping for a surprise update.
Based on my limited experience it seems like they always go for longer than they need to. Feels like if the writer(s) managed to focus on tying up their stories sooner we'd have more finished games, rather than half-finished stories because the writer(s) ran out of juice in the middle. Shorter, sure, but finished stories. The last update or two before radio silence definitely showed a change in the writing. The usual sharp wit wasn't there, the story almost seemed a bit forced.
I love the game, but you could tell Nef was struggling a bit. Hopefully some time away from things will recharge his batteries, along with his home situation settling down.
I wouldn't mind even if Nef lets this one sit on the vine for a bit and starts a new project. I miss his great writing and storytelling.
My guess is that the creators of those games have some type of problem in real life, be it physical and/or mental. With those problems comes more time that can be invested into the game. If it is physical problems, they can put time into the game world while they can't be active in the real world. If it is mental problems, they try to escape those real world problems with the game world. If this game is really abandoned, I hope it is because they solved their problems. With that being said, I hope the problems I mentioned aren't real, and they are just putting together a HYUGE update. Why do the best games get abandoned?
Not to mention, but most of these "writers" have no clue how humans talk to each other, and even less of a clue on sexual interactions. Anyone who wants to write a story, have to think up of a beginning, a middle, and an end. I just don't see how a sane person thinks to themselves, I have a great start to a story but not a clue for after, I'll just wing it...it'll be fine.Based on my limited experience it seems like they always go for longer than they need to. Most get burned out - this dev has been at this game for about six years now.Why do the best games get abandoned?
