Ren'Py - Completed - Midnight Paradise [v1.0f Extra] [Lewdlab]

I didn't really focus on story, besides relations, but animations, renders, and Ruby, are gaining 5 stars from me. Well spent time that I dont regret I hope for more Ruby, Natsuko and Eliana Great stuff! Good job!

The good :
Visually : visually it is really wel done, good renders maybe sometimes a slow pace expecially with the sisters / mom but all in all a good find.

Story : The story is not terrible but could use some polishing, a rich brat needs to return home to enroll to school and then needs to start paying rent and suddenly is a very good businessman. meh a bit cliche but ok. I'm glad the story is still progressing into something deeper of what mc needs to discover.

All in all I like the game and the progress, hope to see the next update soon but in all likelyhood i'll wait a bit longer to have a decent part to go through and not a very short update.

A good looking VN which is it's biggest draw.

The major problem comes in a poorly conceived MC. He starts off as a spoiled rich college douche more interested in killing brain cells with drugs than anything else. When he gets kicked out of college and returns home he doesn't improve.

He then goes on to being a spoiled drug dealer still trying to take the easy road. He has no personal growth at all.

You pursue mom and the MC admits how disappointed she would ne if she knew how he was making his money after she puts a lot of trust and faith in him still he doesn't care enough to do things the right way.

The older sister had her heart broken by an ex with a drug problem and would be heart broken again by the MC dealing drugs yet again he doesn't care enough to stop.

He treats the younger sister, who has some hard feelings, badly. When he finds out the reason for her hurt feelings instead of making it right he treats her even worse. He simply isn't a likeable person and the women in the story deserve better.

The booty call thing is disappointing with not much content. There is the sleep creep thing which fortunately is optional as it's just a way of sneaking in nonconsensual sex. Might as well be passed out drunk or drugged and being taken advantage of. Not sure why anyone would do that to someone they supposedly care about and is a nonsensical part of the story.

There are a lot of hoops to jump through and the pay out is far between and underwhelming. I don't mind hoops to jump through or grind if the reward is worth it.

All of this could be overlooked if the MC you are playing as wasn't such a douche with no moral compass to speak of. This VN is a case of good renders, visuals and nice models combined with less than stellar writing. A swing and miss.

Great game! Sexy girls, exciting story, nice development. It's babysteps but not too grinding. Good information, and help function. The platform and movement of the game takes time, but it's worth the gaming time, and time flies by with enjoyment.

I didn't start this game until recently but it has me. Lots of content, a good story line (plot), and the writing is pretty good. The objectives (hints) are very helpful and combined with the schedules make it easy to navigate through the game though sometimes things are a bit out of order. Nothing serious. Overall I like this game.

TL;DR This is a 4 star game without question. Yes the writing isn't amazing, but it's focused on giving out hot scenes and renders, the rest isn't on the authors radar. The renders are peak quality and while this isn't the writing quality of being a DIK, it's not trying to be.

This game has been underrated forever and with the additions of the messages and mini activities I can't believe people are still so hung up on a douche protagonist in a porn game about fucking your family.

The renders are sublime, they offer a variety of styles in the same way Dreams of desire and Milfy city did, supermodel hot girl, dream milf, and hot girl from high school. The UI and "quest system" are great and easy to navigate without the hints, but are made extremely simple if you want to use the in-game hints.

The writing is hot in the sex scenes, though perhaps a bit too much internal monologuing. while the writing elsewhere is good enough to get the job done, it's the main purpose of writing in a porn game.

Now the protagonist. Sure, he is a douche and you can turn him into a dickhead bordering psychotic, but like it or not that works for a lot of women, so it's not unrealistic that he would do well with them. Furthermore, It's a porn game so of course everyone wants your dick we can't deduct points for that.

Ultimately this game isn't TRYING to be Being a DIK. It's trying to be a Porn focused game, where you can enjoy the scenes without worrying if you missed some obscure pic on the wall, or fucked up the money/choice earlier. It's a porn theme park that you walk down and get to enjoy all the fantastic renders and hot scenes, then move on with your life.

While I have rated this a 5/5 it's mostly to counter the 1 star reviews that go "protga is douche 1 star". The reality is this is a 4 star game border 4 1/2

TBH this of probabaly one of the biggest grindfest games I've ever played with little to no reward, sex, to show for all the exact same stuff the you have to go through every day. The only good thing the game has are the renders and some of the animations. Which really can't be called that since most of them consist of what looks like static images on a loop. The writing isn't too bad, but half the time the MC is the biggest douche in the game with nonsensical writing through 90% of the game. I'm not sure how long this game has been getting made, but that last time I played was over 2 years ago and it seems like 95% of the storylines haven't been updated at all. Or if they have, very little has been done with most of the side characters. This game had real potential, but feels almost like a side project for the dev with big gaps of regular updates. This UI interface is a complete mess, especially in the MC's parents house. Why make a game where it takes 6 clicks just to get to the bedroom from the pool? Round buttons on the bottom would be much easier navigation and would streamline the game screen and UI.

A few placeholders that I remember from the last time I played are still in the game. The booty call function in the game shouldn't even exist considering most of the women that can be called don't even get past second base. 99% of the actions are HJ's and BJ's. More events would make the game much more enjoyable and immersive taking the women on dates and such to different parts of the city map.

Overall this game could have real potential, but in it's current state needs a major overhaul of the UI and the dialogue. More events, animations, and even sound effects could make it a really great game.

I'm glad I didn't rate this game before, because early on, it was not that great. But the evolution to the story, the change in mechanics, and of course the beautiful renders, made me finally give in.

My all-time favorite feature is of course the renders. They are wonderful. You'll be hard pressed to find anyone that can top these renders, and that's a fact (to me anyways).

I also appreciate the dev's dedication to feet in this game. Not sure if it's intentional (but I believe it is), but there is a lot of feet content in this game, and I enjoy pretty feet. Too many games either don't bother rendering feet, or do a poor job at it, but LewdLab went all out and did it very well.

My final bit of good is the slow build of the characters. There was no rush to the lewd content; you had to earn your way there. It was very well done - not too quick, but not too grindy. The calendar system is really cool, and how you were able to identify and earn new content. Great system, in my opinion.

All-in-all, well done, LewdLab! I am looking forward to continuing to follow this project.

The only redeeming quality are renders of good quality (although nothing mind blowing). Sex scenes are rather bland and there's not many of them, there's way too much teasing here and some of the scenes end abruptly which doesn't make sense. Two adults who clearly lust after each other suddenly stop doing what they were doing only because it would progress story too quickly and it would become obvious that the game doesn't have much content. I could rant like that for a long time so let me summarize:

Pros:
+ Good renders

Cons:
- Story is utterly stupid, characters are retarded and even for a porn-logic they behave very illogically, there is also no development here.

- There is way too much grind here (don't believe those who say otherwise), you need to click on specific character at a certain time and place and what's the worst - the progress is minimal. Furthermore you need to do this hundreds of times just to mask the low amount of lewd content here.

- There is no shortcut for MC's room/sleeping so you're wasting a lot of time every game day to progress. There is a "skip time button" but once you will reach the night time you have to click on main hall -> then on the right floor -> then on basement -> and then on the bed. Ridiculous.

- The progress is at such a slow pace that it's impossible to not rage quit.

I could go on and on but it's not worth it. If you really want to play the game I advise you to just unlock the gallery (there is a link to unlocker in the OP), you will thank me later.

Just keep up with regular updates! Great renders and the story is good and turning out to be complex. Introducing sandbox animations was a good idea, it really added another dimension to the game. Hope you keep them coming in the next updates.

It's a simple game and I love it. I play different games for different reason, and when I need incest fap material, games like this one are the best.

- Visually the game is outstanding probably some of the best renders and animations I have seen.

I played a game from this dev, in this game he definitely increased his level and it looks like he will also complete it, which is very important in our time with you. The speed of updates seems to have also been restored, and after a year-long pause, he released an update and entered his usual pace, which pleases.

The game has a good amount of polish. The models all look great. The scenes are nice and the dialogue isn't bad. There's even a bit of intrigue and mystery to the story. The game is a bit grindy though and the way it is set up with characters and activities only being available at certain time exacerbates the problem. The MC is a bit of a douchebag. He can't seem to enjoy anything that doesn't involve being a pervert and just generally has douchebag reactions and inner thoughts. I hoped for some growth but it doesn't seem to be happening. Also you better like feet because Jesus the dev seems to have a fetish. It's everywhere and in your face and doesn't really feel like it's optional.

This game deserves better than 3,5* which has atm.

Story is somewhat captivating and dialogs aren’t dull and all lovey dovey type of shit like in 90% of VNs, which I appreciate.

Many people bitching about MC, don’t understand why... Guess those are all the white knights losers, who protect ladies’ honor at all cost and wonder why they can’t get laid. I actually like how this MC is written and don’t have to cringe about everything he says like most VNs manage to do. Cocky-funny is attractive trait for ladies like it or not.

UI design is clean, which is always plus for sandbox games. Renders and animations are one of the best available and models are pretty hot. Big tits/small tits, nice big ass/cute little butt... something for everybody.

What I don’t like is dev sticking his obvious foot fetish into my face. Feet are total turn off for me. I don’t try to kink shame, but at least make it subtle or optional for those, who aren’t into this stuff. If Tarantino ever stumbled upon this game, you would have supporter for life, that’s for sure...

Same old incest storyline with beautiful renders and amazing animations.

Play this game if you want to fap to top class renders but do not expect a griping story or character development.

The writing is absolutely lazy and full of the same old incest tropes. The girls are too easy and absolutely don't mind being naked in front of MC right from the start. The dialogues aren't deep or aimed at character development, it's just filler convos to take the relationship to the stage of fucking.

I didn't enjoy the build up, seduction and getting to know the characters at all.

Before update 0.17 the game was quite average, except for decent renders, and a few sandbox events, however after 0.17 the game is amazing now!! Theres so many different sandbox events for each of the main LIs, the developer still needs to sort out some of the orders of sandbox event, as they sometimes dont make any sense, however in general the content has almost doubled and i can see the sandbox vision the developer has tried to deliver. Now is the perfect time to try out this game, will keep you entertained for hours

The only sandbox game that I don't mind grinding. Honestly there isn't much grind. The guide is easy to use and everything is explained quite nicely. The text doesn't seem like it was written by a horny teenager and actually has some depth.

The music of this game is really great as well. It might be the only game I have played with music ON.

Unsually, a VN that made me rage quit. It looks good, sure, but I'm firmly in the camp of "MC is a douchebag and should probably be taken out back and shot like a dog" and I really don't get how there are people defending him. Secondly, it's a mess of a sandbox. Illogical and badly structured. Despite there being hints and objectives, it's way to easy to end up in a situation where you're just randomly clicking on things/people in the hope that THIS time it will do something. I could probably come up with a third and fourth reason but I seriously don't want to waste more time on it.

UPDATE for V0.25 Returned to see how things are progressing. Its been about a year, so quite a few updates in. Continues to be beautiful graphics, good english and an engaging story.

I have been playing the love paths, there are lust, dom, sub and such for various LIs. Really nice talk on the love path's (yes vanilla) but good and heartwarming, lots of great sex scenes and some animations.

Very nice, would love to see more of the main story, but it does seem to be progressing. Like to see more of the Mayor and some deeper committment on the relationship side - minor impregnation talk, be nice to see more of that. I used the mod, so was able to see both the ex girlfriend and BFF girl in one playthrough, would like that to be part of the standard game.

Played this (v.018) for the first time. An enjoyable run with a good amount of game time.

This is a incest sandbox type game, graphics are really nice, did not encounter any errors and enjoyed the game.

Plot, really seems to develop later in gameplay, seems to be progressing and kept my attention, and I began to look forward to how things progressed. Plot is interesting and its not all about banging mom and sisters, seems to flow good.

Graphics are very well done, the backgrounds, city, npcs etc all are very good.

Grind, there is some, but most of the stages and progression are unique scenes and the calendar is extremely well done so you can do your progression with unique scenes.

Relationships, I have seen some reviews that spoke about the LIs not being very deep and little is known about them...???? Each have a rather unique story, and their own personalities. Very well done.

Kinks - well incest is the main focus, Mom is a MILF, a Teacher MILF, the two sisters are different as well but all very well done. An Aunt shows up, a Mafia MILF, crazy ex girlfriend, a mysterious Asian type. Some minor fem dom, minor male dom, a little foot fetish (avoidable) some impregnation talk during sex, creampies. Even with the patch didn't see any sleep sex (cool with me).

Really well done, yes there are allot of games of this type, but this is very well done and enjoyable. English is good, did not appear to be any horrible errors.

Fap fest..well in the beginning no, and I was a little frustrated as it did take quite awhile to finally bang someone...but then it came like an avalanche. Replays, booty calls and repeatable events were there. So the reward of playing through to the later parts of the game were there and very satisfying. Sex scenes were well done, a little short, but later encounters were longer and enjoyable.

So far, one of the better bang mom and sisters game I have encountered. Hope it continues, looking forward to the story.
