Ren'Py - Completed - Midnight Paradise [v1.0f Extra] [Lewdlab]

Have one of the best female models. I can see developer has put a lot of effort in details. I love how every female looks in this game. Although the sandbox element is not that hard to figure out some people may find it annoying especially the grinding but I loved it nonetheless. Really looking forward to how main story progresses.

What other reviews don't mention is that to progress the story, you are FORCED into lewd scenes with characters you might detest and despise. You just don't have a choice and if you don't advance the story, you also can't make progress with the girls you actually like. Such lazy writing!

The main story is weak and has plot holes (ofc).

What's worse, the connection to the girls and their characterization aren't well done either. This is bc your interaction with them is reduced to small periodic events according to a literal calendar that you need to consult. These are simply too short but even the non-periodic events aren't fleshed out enough, and thus character development suffers.

You also need a mod to be able to change your name and to know what to do next in some situations. It's so stupid!

Most girls are very pretty and if you appreciate seeing beautiful feet, you're in luck. But too many lewd scenes are surprisingly short and fail to satisfy.

Because of what I mentioned above, the substantial grind you are put through is sadly not worth it.

Overall, this game has forced sexual interactions, poor characters, nonsensical plot and a lot of useless grind. I'm giving it two stars for the fact that it has some male-dom scenes which too few games have.

I would really want to rate it higher, but I can't. I really liked Dreams of Desire (their previous game) and was in fact the first AVN I've ever played, so they're responsible of me getting into this at all. But Midnight Paradise didn't do it for me. First, I think that even when I like AVN sandbox, this one doesn't seems to do it for me, Lewdlab did it better in Dream of Desire and I think the straightforward style with maybe some minor not-linear scenarios would be better. The grinding is a bit boring, and the way to manage the location we're going tiring, moving around the house should be for example done in a different way, with all locations accesible by a single click, because just going from one location to the other to do the scene you need and having to mandatory pass the time at night going to your bed and sleeping is a pain in the ass.

Then dialogue and storywise... somehow it seems the story has potential apart from the porn, but the dialogues seem a bit too long for the actual content, and the way it forces you to advance in everything is what makes me think it would be better as a linear AVN, because as a sandbox you feel forced to do things in a particular way and never truly free to discover the story the way you wanted.

Porn and graphics are great, the way the corruption progress and everything is nice, and it would just get a huge help if the things I said before were managed better. I didn't try, but probably with some of the Walkthrough and Cheat mods the experience would be better, as you probably wouldn't spend so much time exploring the possibilities for nothing when only a few options are available.

I think I will probably try again when it's closer to complete anyway, maybe they manage to improve those things when closer to the end.

Wow, loved Joyce (MOM) sex & tour content very much. Renders looks realistic also those posing as well as different positions were arousing for both love route and obedience route.

I liked new aspect of adding corruption with obedience route, especially extra girls and characters in sauna scenes. Massage scene was also quite interesting.

Overall, Joyce content is nice but some main story content would have made it perfect. Maybe next update it'll be satisfying.

Overview, main story is ( crime, drugs, sci fi muder experimentation ) interesting and mysterious. The family and business angel adds extra layer to it. It's possible that MC's father and brother are running experiments on Joyce and others.

MC sells a special illegal drug which is also a waste / byproduct of original experiments run by the mysterious villain and his organisation.

There's another ninja type organisation secretly fighting against this villain's organisation. MC has either lost his old memories (causing headaches) or will be playing a key role. However nothing is clear at the moment.

Corruption and side stories are quite hot, all female characters have interesting scenes.

The game started at the wrong plot. I don't hate douchy MC but a douchy plus dumbass MC who doesn't have common knowledge of doing drug dealing then getting used by that shitty Lawyer Thorne then doing all the stupid dumb things.
Then the game mechanism. I don't really hate Sandbox or RPG, in fact I prefer them over VN because a well made sandbox can give you experience close to reality. But this one use repeating sandbox event which I fucking hate.
Anyway the render is good and the models are great too. The incest is nicely laid out too. Only because of that it gets 2 stars.

It isn't bad but it doesn't deserve 3 stars.

Great scenes ruined by too much dialogue which feels like filler and unnecessary.

The models are excellent, they all look perfect which is ruined by the story. With all these great models there should have been more scenes and angles but there are only a few angles in multiple scenes. The angles are repeated in several scenes some of them just looking wrong.

There is too much dialogue. This is a visual novel, not an actual novel to have this level of dialogue. Most of it is exposition and inner monologues explaining what is happening on screen. That feels completely unnecessary and makes the game actively worse. The previous game of this dev, DOD also had too much dialogue but it wasn't this bad. Most of the dialogue could be removed, making the game much better.

The story is nonsensical and it takes itself too seriously. The MC is an asshole from the start to the end with little development but the other characters act as he grew as a person, is no longer an asshole and is a great person which is not. There is a good plot in there somewhere and that makes this failure horrible. It could have been better is they just condensed the story and cut down on all the useless dialogue. The plot is way too slow.

The scenes are good with repetitive angles but there is so much bad dialogue and grind to reach them.
The music is repetitive. There are only a few songs. With such long scenes, they loop for too long.
This could be a great game if it was shorter with a condensed story, less dialogue, less grind, more scenes with no dialogue and different angles.

The game is just too damn long for no reason.
Sure the models are great but at some point, it's not enough.

The music is useless. There are two to three loops of music so most of the time, the music is off sync with the mood of the scene.

The characters aren't engaging. The MC is a spoiled kid who turns to crime to earn money when Daddycut him off. The girls are just here to like the MC and that's it. You spend hours grinding their stories just to have handjob, blowjob, assjob, fucking in the order. What a waste of time because the storylines aren't great and some are really stupid.

The dialogues are so frustrating. They talk, and talk, and they think. You have to read 3000 lines during a sex scene so imagine outside of that.

The last update killed me and I don't know if I want to play the game again.

5/5 legendary game. I don't understand those who give low scores, the fact that the game is sandbox makes it better, if I can fulfill the tasks easily even with my low English, anyone can do it. Anyway, it's not a game where you slap 10 times and new content opens.

I don't even need to write anything about the content of the game, the visuals, rendering and animations are outstanding. The story is enough, after all, we are not reading a literary work.

I absolutely love this simple game. I play different games for different reasons, and when I'm in the mood for incest fap material, this one really hits the spot.

• The visuals are exceptional. Some of the best renders and animations I've come across.
• The models are incredibly HOT. I'm talking about top-tier "hot slutty models" here, not just cute or attractive.
• For an incest enthusiast like me, this game checks all the boxes.
• The story is okay, nothing spectacular, but that's not a big deal for me when it comes to these kinds of games. I'm not going to deduct points for that.

Overall, this game is a perfect fit for what I'm looking for in this genre.

Mainly reviewing because people are going overboard with giving low ratings to a great game. Yes, there's grind and yes, it's annoying. But the story and scenes make up for it. The creator has even implemented a pretty useful walkthrough app thing and, I may be misremembering, a cheat option. But the game is sexy as fuck if you can bear with a bit of clicking through screens.

This should be a much higher rated game, but the sandbox ruins it. If this was a VN it would be a 4.5 star game, even with the ridiculous plot. Instead, you have to grind so much that the whole thing is a nuisance to try and play.

Great VN.

It starts off ROUGH though so beware of that. The MC starts off as a giant dirt bag, which I personally do not like at the start of a game. I'm not against the MC being an asshole but I personally would like to be able to choose between good and evil.

I see a lot of people review games in an unfair way in my opinion so I try not to be THAT guy.

Once you get pass the first act and choices become available to you, the game is a lot more enjoyable with a fairly interesting story. It seems generic at first but if you pay attention to the story details you can see some creative writing.

The character dialog's also flow very naturally and is very well done. The only VERY minor grip I have with any of the dialogue is when the father peaks to the mother both of there dialogue boxes are pink and you have to slow down to understand who is supposed to be speaking the mom or the dad. 99.9 % otherwise is excellent.

The renders are surprisingly well done, the mother looks like a gorgeous mother, not a pinup doll nor a teen pretending to be a mother. All other renders and animations are simply great. There is enough sex and adult content to keep your interest but the story alone is great.

My favorite character is the teacher, her story flows naturally and is fairly believable without to much suspension of disbelief.

Now the Negatives! The UI interface could be better and more intuitive. I played this with the MODS that point you in the right direction as to what to do NEXT. Without that mod I would be lost and clicking over and over again trying to figure out how to advance the story. Other games using this style of point and click fail and this would be a fail without the modders help. Luckily for this dev team the modders have been hard at work making this a great title. So download the mod to get the 5 star experience that I'm giving this VN. Without the mod I would rate this a 3 star game. The Mods make this a 5 star recommended game for me.

I have a Love/Hate relationship with Midnight Paradise.

It was one of the very first adult games I'd ever played. And at first, it felt as if it was broken, with just a collection of locations and very little going on after the first segment.
Then I realised, I'd entered the realm of the grind game phenomena.

It was a game where the juice IS worth the squeeze, but the squeeze felt at times as if it were constructed to test the patience of a saint.
Not that a saint would ever play such a lewd, disgustingly perverted wonderfully rendered game.

What I loved about Midnight Paradise were the characters, apart from the MC, who seems void of any personality or redeeming qualities.

But then we have hotties such as Joyce, Ruby, Isabel, Ms Jane and Sofia to help soften the blow of a game which feels empty at times.

The women and sex scenes were beautifully rendered and executed.

The poor twin brother seemed far more interesting and complex than the frat boy MC.

Anyway, I have to give it excellent because of the female characters it introduced me to.
And the beautifully rendered sexual interactions and amount of choice.
The depravity was also first class.

Although, I kinda wanted it to offer more dominant/sub/NTR options.

I think this game has exellent quality. The renders was satisfactory and there was not any problem paying through.
The female characters in this game are to my satisfactory. Each character has own fitting personalities and body figure with detail. I think it is important to differ the looks of characters because the differences in detail makes the game visually more appealing.
I also liked the part where there is a main story line and small everyday events that escalate the affection. It helps to deviate the seriousness of the main story and make the game rich in contents.
In general I felt like this game had abundant amount of contents with satisfactory quality.

tldr: pretty good game and totally worth to give it a shot!

-MC has a stupid name (can be changed by mod. Thank you modders, doing gods work)

-MC is absolutely unlikeable. He's annoying, cringy worthy childish and acts like a little bitch. If you ask a horny 14-16year old boy to describe a "cool kid" this MC would be the result.

-dialogs/story is somewhere between fine and borderline stupid. "Thats an odd thing to say" and "thats an odd thing to do in this situation" are your permanent companions on this ride

-No (real) corruption. There could be arguments for the teacher (even tho its a fast one) but the family....
-->Mom: I'm getting old ->MC: Your ass looks still fine ->Mom: Wow lets get sexual
-->Big sis: I broke up with my boyfriend -> MC: But you have big tits -> Big sis: Wow lets get sexual

-sandbox does pretty much nothing to this game. It could be a kinetic novel with 0 decisions and still do the very same thing (only change might be "are you into feet? yes/no"
Seems like dev forgot that money is a thing after a few updates. It was used like 2times and after that everything MC ever needs is free^^

the good:
-amount of content and presentation.
-world building is good and the locations seem well done.
-porn is relly good. Even tho some of the animations are clunky its overall high quality content.
Hard to complain about the vararity and amount of the scenes.

Cause I expect good porn in porn games, this is the main reason for the 4stars, even tho the "bad" list seems longer

I saw some complains about slow/small updates.
0.24Elite was the first version I played and the amount of content was perfectly fine.
Will wait for 0.5ish now.

Really enjoyable game to play and scenes build up in a worthwhile way. Characters and models are varied. A little bit too much focus on feet and incest although it is possible to avoid this if thats not your jam.

One of my favorite sandbox AVNs. Some activities are too grindy BUT every other aspect of the game makes me not think about that.

Characters, animations, and lewd scenes are 10/10. Menus and dialog options are smoothly designed. Contents and relationships are also designed very well. It feels organic and not rushed. And there are lots of content I mean a lot. With great animations and scenes, It's one of my favorite AVNs.

The main story is, in my opinion not interesting. But I know the creator is trying his best to create something interesting. Other than the main story, all other side stories are great.

This is one of my must-play games. If you haven't checked that out then do it.

You know, this is probably a 4/5 game but since it's so poorly rated for its potential I'm marking it 5/5 to nudge it towards its overall rating

Early game is super grindy and somewhat lacking in creativity. I think the dev had less of an idea of what they wanted to do with the game at that point, so there's a lot of rinse/repeat/repeat/repeat/repeat/rinse/repeat (did I say repeat?) with some of the quests for the LIs that it gets boring. You'll click around a lot. Use a mod (shoutout to shawn's) to help manage what it is that you need to do next without clicking around (too) aimlessly

The main story gets much better in latter episodes and the game opens up some new paths with LIs that becomes a little more interesting, so if you don't *hate* the beginning, keep playing as it only gets better and there are way more proper sex scenes with the LIs later on

Renders are 5/5 and animations are like a 4.5/5

I've been engaged with this game right from the beginning, and it consistently offers ample content to hold my interest. It's truly a fantastic game featuring captivating visuals, intriguing story twists, and an overall enjoyable experience. I have a genuine affection for this game, eagerly anticipating each update that brings new elements to the gameplay.

I have played a lot of sandbox games that should just be VNs on this site and this one seems to make every single one of the biggest possible mistakes in the genre.

Events are not spread out well throughout the timeslots in the day. Mom and both sisters want attention in the morning, then the afternoon, then the evening so it is tough to make progress on multiple objectives in a given day. Then the objectives are frequently gatekept to specific times/days of the week to waste more time.

Objectives get locked until you progress with other characters so it truly undermines the one minor advantage that "sandbox" games can have on this site. The quests aren't marked on the map so you need to check objectives constantly adding extra clicking between screens but at least the objectives are clear so I didn't run into problems on that front.

The game has a phone and uses texting A LOT. The texting is the worst implementation I've seen on any game. You almost never have an option on your response but you need to click for each text either sending or receiving and then it builds in a wait time when the NPCs are texting back.

A game designed to maximize both the number of click for navigation and the number of days to achieve limited objectives would truly resemble this game. Then the wait time on the text responses is just the biggest insult to injury ever. I quit around the time dad was demanding rent because I couldn't take it anymore and I came here to write this instead.

The story and characters seem to be the most basic of basic incest tropes all around. The pictures are decent, there seems to be a lot of content and the English is good so I can't quite bring myself to rate it 1 star.
