Hey everyone

It's been a while. I meant to post earlier. You might think I've been on vacation or something. Well, not really. A forced rest kind of. I have lower back issues (too much sitting in front of the computer) and I had some nerve pinch thing (no MRI yet) and basically I couldn't walk or sit without extreme pain for 2 weeks and change so they pumped me full of meds and now we're back.
But before that and since then I've been working on the final stretch of MP.
As you can see in the post image, there's a roadmap. Next release is the Joyce Sandbox update, which is coming soon, then we're out for the main story finisher.

That's right boys. As I said before, the 1.0 update is coming this year. There's no point in pulling it apart into smaller releases, it's best served in one go in an onslaught of steaming hot content and conclusion to the main story, so it will be a MEGA update with tons of content. (Read the roadmap)
Now I know some of you might say you want more content with XYZ character, but the main story is at the end and so are the main girls' routes. They will have enough content, I'm making sure of that.
Main girls will be getting their routes and they will be included in a "sexful" finale (again, please read the roadmap image)
The 1.0 update will also release on Steam.

But that's not the end of content for MP.
After the 1.0 release later this year we'll splash in some more sandbox - then we're going for the Island of Eden.
This will be about the main girls, with new interactions and more threesome (foursome?) options.
After that I'm planning on doing an expansion - The Wolves' Den - which will offer a different style of play from everything else experiences in MP so far, but that's all I'm going to say about that for now.
I'm doing various other improvements to the game, and I'll be telling you more of that in the upcoming posts. I'll be sure to post more frequently to keep you guys in the loop.

For me Isabel's scenes were way more arousing than Joyce.
The buildup to Joyce getting her coochie drilled was good but the final destination was somewhat of a letdown.

LMAO, i almost got it right, i said Joyce update was actually be the last one, close enough, to be fair the threesome gonna be the last and it seems there will be no build up to it, gonna be rushed just like DoD, where the threesome between any of them gonna be like the last scene of the game

I'm looking forward to finishing the main story and having complete routes for all three women (Joyce, Isabel - my favorite, and Ruby).

I like the roadmap laying out additional sandbox content for greater immersion and, finally, the possibility of canon threesomes and even foursomes with some of the ladies!

I'm glad that Midnight Paradise did not get abandoned when the dev took extra time to reset MP with v 0.17.

I'm not getting hung up on the number of revs left since a simple counting game ignores the underlying data.

For example (from the change log):

v0.18 Elite = 313 new images and 23 new animations

v0.19 Elite = 320 new renders and 17 new animations

v0.20 Elite = 200+ new renders and 21 new animations

v0.21 General = 300+ new renders and 19 new animations

v0.23 Elite = 186 new renders and 13 new animations

Compare this to v0.17 Elite:

Number of new renders: 2350+
Number of new animations: 170

What gave us more content here - 1 release (v 0.17) or the five releases that followed (specifically those that gave the image/animation # data in the change log)?

I don't care if the dev calls it one final release and 2 DLC or 10 releases.

Do we get more great content that helps with immersion and adds to the sexy time with some of our favorite women?

I vote for more great content, regardless of how the dev numbers the remaining releases.

I doubt we will get new DLC characters to have lewd scenes with and there's no chance that we get characters from other games in Midnight Paradise. I guess there's a super ultra slim chance the dev puts a character from Dreams of Desire in, but I strongly doubt he'd do that.

Per Discord, Dr. Sin is adding "at least 8 more" Joyce sex scenes in the upcoming sandbox update and a lot more in the finale. Also, I asked the following question and got the following answer on Patreon:



He offhandedly mentioned that he will sneak in "a tiny bit" for Isabel and Ruby in the next update so I'm not expecting much outside of the Joyce scenes. I imagine anything and everything else will come in 1.0 and beyond.

He mentioned threesomes and possibly foursomes, so I'm really hoping that we get Sofia x Joyce and Joyce x Isabel action in particular. I also hoping that we get a tremendous amount of anal with the core four (Joyce, Isabel, Ruby, and Sofia). The MC has only buttfucked side characters up until now so it is way overdue. Other than the blowjob scene most of Tanya's Lewd scene are on elite scene, which is a non canon in the game. You're right that we need more Tanya's scene
