Maybe he doesn't take his patron support for granted. Puts his nose to the grindstone and pushes out quality and quantity of content. His last update alone had 35 animations (that's counting some multiples with different outfits)... no excuses, no delays.
Ahh... I've said too much though. Comparing devs is hurtful and mean, even if doing only to cut off the eventual "No one matches (insert any consistently lat dev here) in quality and quantity!"

NLT (a single dev btw) created scenes far ahead. He also use overlays instead full background renders.

So much for my theory. But yes - that of course works too. Especially if the time to render can be cut down using overlays.

Are you sure about this?? I always thought they were just using BLACK MAGIC, and sacrificing a Chicken every week (maybe a goat if they have a delay).

From what I know and what I read, NLT has more than 20 years experience as a Dev. He's definitely and without doubt the most promising, serious and trustworthy Dev I ever saw since I'm on F95. A true beast.
