When did you guys discover adult games?

I always assumed it was spam garbage on porn sites until I found Fap Nation.
Don't remember the site but it was end of 2014/start of 2015-I saw some previews for MATM.Later that year it was the release of Bend or Break and SU/Something Unlimited,in 2015 still using the name Injustice Unlimited/.

If you are regularly x-y% off target date then maybe learn from that experience? I don't do creative work but also have a lot of time variables that I do not control in my work and my overall estimates are better each time.
Glad someone gets this.

No one (reasonable) is saying that missing a deadline doesn't occasionally happen. But if you are consistently missing deadlines, then there's a problem with your process. Someone who is actually skilled at project management is going to look at the work that needs to be done, break it up into chunks, then examine each bit and say to themselves "Ok, under ideal circumstances, it should take me X amount of time to do this, Y amount of time to do this, Z amount of time to do that." They'll add those numbers together and come up with an estimate of how long it'll take to get the whole job done, again, assuming ideal circumstances. Then, they'll work in some "wiggle room." What if something goes wrong? What if there's an unexpected issue? Then at least they'll have some leeway in which to take care of it.

The problem here is that a lot of the game developers who have reputations for not releasing on time (and we all know who they are) come across as if they don't understand these concepts. Best case, they simply don't know how to manage time. Likely because they've never been in a situation where they've been forced to manage time, or to plan out the steps of a project such that work can be accomplished consistently. Worst case, they're actively sabotaging their own production so they can continue getting paid for longer. Thing is, while I acknowledge that as a possibility, I'm not eager to just go around accusing everyone of being "milkers" as people put it. I think it's more likely that folks just don't know how to effectively plan.

But again, here's the thing: you can't account for every single possibility. Can't account for every set of circumstances the world may throw at you. But what you can do is assume that a moderate level of shit is going to happen and plan accordingly so you're not completely screwed when the shit inevitably hits the fan.

I'll never forget what he said last year. He said it himself it would be shitty and bad if he didn't release it and behold it happened. IIRC it was suppose to come out in November but came out in late December instead.

Okay he missed the deadline.. But why assume he need another full day? I expect him to get it done first thing in the morning.
Are you familiar with Mr Sin's past aherence to his own given schedules? We'll probably not hear anything from him for the next week. I certainly hope I'm wrong but I fear I'm not.

Midnight Paradise lost.

Trust me I know.

But it wont go unheard, pulling such a trick now would just be another proof of his dishonesty. It's unreasonable to believe he totally miscalculated the amount of time required to finish the build. I mean, he can't be that incompetent. I'm sure he only need a few more hours. (y)

The thing is once they go down the path of delay after delay it becomes easier because there are those who are always willing to have their back and make excuses for them and other devs who do the same thing. And while they're defending them the just stay quiet... on their discord the mods and devs silence dissent, they offer no information, not even to paying patrons, "it'll be done when it's done" that's all you get.
They have enough sheep patrons now the devs aren't worried about losing their income.

I heard someone talk about it on pr0gramm. The first game i played was Milfy City in 0.1 and I looked for games on Fap-Nation too but this site is far better and has some kind of weird fetish-community (let's be honest it's all about dat incest porn) wich I find quite funny.

Well, guys, it was fun but it seems update will come later. I still believe that it be ready tomorrow, maybe even in a couple of hours. Cuz if Mr. Sin mises this deadline, and then disappear again for a couple of days, well, then good people here were right and he really changed...Good night all and
