Joyce is a pretty big downgrade compared to the mom from DoD and thats not throwing shade at her, but the DoD model was spectacular. This game seems weak compared to its predecessor sadly, already at 0.9 and theres barely anything going on. Why change a winning recipe, his pacing in the previous game was top tier, why the change?

It gets to be funny when you start comparing both, since you realize that the two have, in theory, the same amount of time in game development experience, but the disparity in terms of development quality, history, sexual content and other things are even blatant. And to make it all funnier, there is a brutal difference in the number of patreons.

Ok, let's try to rationalise a bit. Renders are excellent, release schedule is good, game runs pretty much fine,... but, I honestly think Lewdlab went to far with stairway to heaven thingy.
It might be different cultural setting, but I don't remember I ever heard somebody got boobjob here... I mean there are girls with luxurious bosom, also there are guys with poles (though not as big as those from the games...), but why would anybody go there? It would be painful for both parties. Average male is heavier than 80 kilogrammes, he must to kneel above the girl, it's painful. If he tries to sit, it's painful for girl... Even if he is gymnast, or something, I cant imagine how they would manage to get tits and dick lubricated enough.... bottom end, it's hard to concieve outside of porn. And I doubt there is loot of people hooked on it.

Yeah for me if I went down on a girl, the next thing would be me entering the promise land. None of these I will see ya later crap. The Ruby scene irritates me because they were in the office at night, so nothing to really stop them from doing anything without interruption but nope it turns out to be a dream instead. Total buzzkill!
If this game with this rhythm that it carries is fucking boring, it has 9 updates of which 5 are horrible, where it tries to tell a story that is bad and the sexual scenes were that the characters looked naked, hopefully this developer reconsiders and leaves of placing sex on such a puritanical pedestal.
PS: Let's hope that for his next game I do not do the same thing he are doing in this one, because the truth is that I am not going to play a game as insufferable as this one, more than a year of development and the game seems to be in its first updates and not to mention supporting it financially (In the latter I do not mean so much by the game, if not by Lewdlab himself).

I can't speak for all of men, but I am pretty sure good majority would loose interest, or at least cool of a bit after few weeks of such treatment.
Besides, let's compare MP with Milfy City. In that game, we could ravage teacher's arse at second update. At third we could bone Aunt's GF. At fourth we scored homerun with Mo.. Landlady... Yes, there was a lot of tease... but MC is boning somebody at each update.
I don't wish to compare Lewdlab either with Phily or ICSTOR, I like all games I mention, and I like developers, well, mostly, but I don't want to comment ICSTOR's creative breakdown here, I am saying, this is worst case of Stairway to heaven implementation... Ok, second worst, nothing beats Sinful Delicacies.
