Alright, so I played the recent update and here's my quick review (no spoilers)

1. Main story progression is quite decent. There will be a handful of events which are key in deciding MC's fate.
2. Quite a few hot events with all the ladies ( I was deliberately behind Ms. Jane's path but completed it and viewed all content as of 0.10.1).
3. Round about an hour - 90 mins of gameplay, based on previous choices, no text skipping except for repeat events.

There's quite a hue and cry about the slow burn nature of the game and frequent comparisons wit DoD, for which I've to say this -- if you need a quick fap just for the sake of it, just open any real porno and get it done. If you want to savour the story, the characters and the gradual progression, MP does it best. There's a new game on the block, in which the pace is so fast it rivals an F1 car and while the ride is exhilarating, you end up feeling empty afterwards. There's nothing wrong with either of these games but if your main critique is story pacing, there are enough options for you.

Overall, it's a 5* from me, considering the quality of the renders, animations and content. I think it justifies the time between updates as well, delays happen due to $hit in real life, so I'm not huffing a lot about it.

Funny enough I don't fap during most sex scenes in these games, I actually enjoy watching the characters get super intimate. But when the same scene and scenario gets repeated I kinda stop caring. Seeing as how the proteg was is portrayed in the early game as a playboy, and as soon as he got back home started to molest the people he lived with. To then a constant scene after scene of him "acting nice", doesn't really give hell of lot for a strong story.

You don't have to get to sex scenes super fast to make it fun, but if you plan to delay it at least make it feel natural and fit withing how the characters are written(see Love of Magic, super slow sex scenes but they have great build up). If the game was written with a proteg who was a lot more caring(or not a playboy, there is many degrees between playboy to spinless), and wasn't a horn dog all of that would've made a lot more sense. But he didn't even once tried to hook up with a random person even, since he got home(If he did, I'm sorry for miss remembering). He was led by a leash from all the women outside of his home.

I obviously play the game for free, so I don't care what the dev does with it. But calling it a good story is a stretch, mainly because the characters act super odd. I enjoy this for what it is, but knowing the dev is going to release 6-8 more updates I'll make my judgment then on how well everything held together. As this game will probably be better as a whole package rather then piecemeal.

How'd you squeeze that out of this update? I didn't skip any dialogue and got about 10 minutes out of it. Do you read every sentence 5 times to make sure you got it right?

No, I played it a natural pace. Well, perhaps playing it at the end of a hard, stressful week could have slowed me down but the conditional progression of events is what made it longer. As I didn't give out any spoilers and still don't intend to spoil, perhaps you should give it another try.

If you like the game that fine. But the repeatable events are not what's bothering me, as you can see my recommendation I have lot's of sandboxes.

It's more to do with an unrealistic interaction during the story between the characters(that's coming for a person who loves harems), due to the how the story is told. A comedy/anime story can be a lot more forgiving for silly dialog and slap stick sexual stuff. But this story is trying to take it self seriously, so it's jarring to see the mc dealing with drugs and drug dealers. To then his mom suddenly falls on his dick and sucking it till he finish, but somehow never willing to take it further(even when he put his dick between her tits openly during yoga).

I feel like the game doesn't have a consistent tone, and that's why I'll wait till the game is finished. I don't really feel like I can really understand the characters, and seeing 10 min every couple of months doesn't really help me understand it better.

All the games I recommend are ones where the character evolve naturally with the story, rather then being outside of it and not feeling like they belong.

What natural progression of events? You need to enter the right location at the right time and the scenes play out.

I understand that you like this game and don't appreciate seeing the shitposters make fun of it all the time, but don't resort to blatant lying. This update wasn't 60 minutes or anywhere near. Get real.

I think I played the last one with all it's content and as I mentioned previously, ignored the teacher for most time. Perhaps that could add but I definitely had to progress the main story before I could get character specific content. I had to spend quite some time getting to it and it was surely not < 10 mins.

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
