Ya that’s a great point, he seemed pretty confident talking about how much he could render per day with his second computer set up.I guess that he just didn’t quite even realize himself how much time and effort the improved version of DoD actually is going to take before he decided to pull the trigger with it. That’s even pretty evident when you read his original plan for this, like being done with it in February with March release and then starting to cook MP again. And now he is already three months behind his own original schedule on that, and still isn’t finished with it. I bet that if he would’ve understood that way earlier, he would’ve just taken the regular one or two months off during December and January, and then started cooking MP again in February, finished it during this year like he planned, and THEN made the improved version of DoD in all peace with no stress or pressure about MP’s death. Well, you can’t always win. Surely he will be back on the good cycle with MP once he is finally all done with the improved DoD, he already proved that with 0.14 update.
This happens with all of us...we plan something and then it takes a bam...and I am pretty sure the dev will get his head back on in no time..I guess that he just didn’t quite even realize himself how much time and effort the improved version of DoD actually is going to take before he decided to pull the trigger with it. dod based on last line and generally, this doesn't have achievements and not that easy to add either.is this for DOD or MP?
He also had COVID meanwhile all that so... i think we can give him a break, at least untill DOD is out...I realize he’s working on two games right now, but one update in the last 5 months simply hasn’t been good enough, he was in a great rhythm towards the end of 2020 pumping out almost 1 update per month but that seems like a lifetime ago now.
I love the devs work and want him to succeed, hopefully when the DOD remake is done he will get back into a good update cycle for MP.
Comparing AAA dev teams with hundreds on the staff creating a complete game over 2 to 5+ years, to amateur indie dev teams with a staff you can count on one hand or made by a single person, expecting monthly updates because some devs have the resources to do monthly updates. Totally fair comparison, right? Some reason a lot of porn devs be acting like they work longer and do crunch time like AAA game devs. They only get breaks when the game is released. Ya'll do small updates and breakdown talking about you need a 2 month break.
Never expected monthly updates. Plus once you got one game out the window you not really an amateur's no more. It's them long ass breaks they take for bullshit reasons. Them same AAA devs work extremely crazy and you know it. Sometimes they crunch so much they dont even go home. It's the breaks that some devs take because of BS reasons. We all know a certain dev who took over a year off and fools still defend him.Comparing AAA dev teams with hundreds on the staff creating a complete game over 2 to 5+ years, to amateur indie dev teams with a staff you can count on one hand or made by a single person, expecting monthly updates because some devs have the resources to do monthly updates. im not expecting a AAA experience though.Comparing AAA dev teams with hundreds on the staff creating a complete game over 2 to 5+ years, to amateur indie dev teams with a staff you can count on one hand or made by a single person, expecting monthly updates because some devs have the resources to do monthly updates. Take a look at the previous pages. Someone already talked about it, but I don't know if there's a solutionCiao.C è una versione di questo gioco per pc vecchio? Il mio computer non sopporta la versione nuova.Grazie.
