All the more reason to support the class of Devs with something to prove. No matter how we look at it, it's the beginning of the end. I rarely criticized Lewdlab, but man, is there some kind of pandemic spreading among the most promising Devs ? It seems like some kind of bad joke, but in the end, as the saying goes, All good things must come to an end - even the Top Tier Devs fall sooner or later.
Lewdlab doesn't shoulder his responsibilities towards his pledgers and his fans. Ok, we are pirates and he doesn't have to justify himself towards us (it's understandable), BUT, he MUST live up to his responsibilities towards his pledgers on Patreon - the people giving him money they earn by working themselves !All the more reason to support the class of Devs with something to prove.
Lmao one of his patrons called him out for the continuing excuses, and instead of taking it to the jaw he just went full on damage control and panic mode by blaming Lain for everything. What a fucking clown this guy is.Edit: and now he has deleted this comment bwahaha.

If what he says is true, the project's prospects may not be so good.
Few programmers are willing to take on projects that fall by the wayside.
Besides, the last programmer was forced to resign. If he had not written comments in the program, it might have taken weeks to see the entire project code.
you wanna take a guess? Why is there a vaginal sex tag?
There's vaginal sex in it.Why is there a vaginal sex tag?
Crazy stuff, sex in such games? I'm strongly offendedThere's vaginal sex in it.
”Connor gets a handjob with one of the girls using a fleshlight”. How didn’t Dr. Lie think about that? What is vaginal sex? That is some kind of a handjob variant? It must be. Otherwise it wouldn't be in the game![]()
This was his staff members answer in Discord when someone asked about the coding:Since he's not a programmer himself, maybe anything code-related will seem complex to him. Also, this is not just a slideshow VN. There is a map and a quest tracker (and maybe more? I haven't played since June, so can't remember too well.). If that's all done with nothing but if-else statements, that would indeed be a complex nightmare. lol
You miss nothing. There is not even a single update from almost 9 full months. He seems to be forgetting one very important aspect here. Why would an experienced programmer who wants to be on a team and is reliable, work with someone who doesn't connect enough with his team to know the gender of their previous programmer and is unreliable when it comes to updating his game. Also, if I were to work on a NSFW game I'd want it to be a more gratifying user experience. Seriously, integrate the damn foreplay into proper sex scenes instead of making scenes that are mostly about teasing. XD

Nobody force him to use such an interface for the game. This was his staff members answer in Discord when someone asked about the coding:
"Well, the complexity of the code goes hand in hand with how complex things you're trying to achieve. Simple talking scene with progression of images is not difficult (imagine booty calls). Things like having the UI at the top of your screen with buttons triggering certain things (phone, map, skip time) that is more complex of course, because you need to set up the button and also the thing that is going be triggered by it. Then you need to code when will those things be available and when not (Skipping time is not available in every location, for example).
Time itself is not exactly easy either, because you need to have every location react to that system (day/night location) and also the map needs to react to it (show nightclub location only at night, for example).
Then there are things like those phone hints, those are not difficult in terms of code, but they require a lot of focus. They all work based on certain "points" and "flags" in the main story, and if you accidently type in the wrong point, then the hint will show during incorrect stage of the game.
And a whole different story is creating new features (for example improved phone system), there you not only need to make sure it works in itself as intended, but that is also works with all the other already implemented systems.
So, overall it's a combination of many things. And it all requires you to be aware of what else needs to be changed/added if you introduce something new into the game."
Yes, we are holding onto.. whatever jobs we can find. We are workaholics. We love doing jobs. Plenty of jobs around here too. Win-win.On Hold![]()
Actually scamdrop just opened a dev-scammer academy and lots of people are attending his classes apparently. It's not worth getting worked up over unless you're a paying patron and even then you can always stop paying.
