It's amazing how lazylab can simply disregard his own words like it's nothing. What compels a man to blatantly LIE like this?He came here, saw that people were leaving mean comments towards him so he decided that he didn't want to make the progress post because of that.
So, in reality he delayed it because he forgot he was even supposed to do something like that and he didn't have any good excuse and lies made up for the post so he needs "little" more time.

Good thing he's got all those simps who continue to give him money, even though it's been a year since the last update, because cocaine is expensive. After promising the update in November, Dr Milk just announced on his discord that it will likely be a few weeks longer until the next release and you can be damn sure there will be no sex scenes with Joyce.
Biden will no longer be president when we see Joyce bang the MC.

Yikes. Just checking in and finding out we will have to do a full restart and yet another ambiguous "it'll be soon, but even sooner than before" timeline. The thing is, even if it comes out soon then how long will we have to wait for the next one? Will anybody even want to? If this update doesn't blow everyone's socks off then how many are going to wait another year rather than consigning this game to the scrap heap?

drawing the line of above-mentioned circicmstances we can conlude the Dev to polish gameplay features instead of developing the plot. I wish I knew the reason of such activity. I guess he does not have a clue where to move the plot. MP is 4 year old project. I wonder who are people who pay him for such a shit.Of course it will be. People have waited a full year to continue the story where it left off, but instead they now have to play the game from the very beginning so that Lewdlab can show off his "in-game phone texting" updates. This obviously prolongs the playtime from the classic 15min max update to "justify" the one year waiting. The story won't proceed much, as Lewdlab himself has already stated too casually, but he tries his best to bury that fact under all the "new cool things" he is adding at the very beginning of the game.
I mean, who doesn't enjoy these upcoming additions like "more than 100 chats/messages in-game phone, some with pictures and multiple answers" that will bring absolutely nothing to the game after waiting a full calendar year for the next version.

Wow, what the hell happened to this game? I enjoyed the heck out of DOD and was eager to try out their latest game but seems like the thread is telling me the game is on life support now.

The dev lost his appetite for it couple years ago already but just doesn't have the balls to unplug the cord from the outlet as he knows that after procrastinating for so long it would just be the very end of his journey as a developer and, the most important part, the end of his easy monthly income.

At the snail speed he's going, he better release the full version of the game and be done with it already. It's painfully obvious he doesn't know how to progress the story, and considering all the recent 'technical difficulties' slash cheap excuses and lies, it's also obvious he's lost interest in the project, so instead of going full SCAMcstor on us, he could have the decency to release the whole shit and move on to another project. Hopefully this time, we won't have to wait a shitload of updates again just to admire the 'beauty' of a woman's feet coz not everyone's into that kinda disturbing stuff.
I know it's optional, but instead of wasting time making renders and animations that more than half of his supporters (probably even more) don't give a shit about, he should learn from his mistakes and only focus on the canonical story.It's most probably wishful thinking on my part, but if he really IS a true professional and committed guy like he wants us to believe he is, the best way to prove it is by bullshitting less and working more to deliver what he promised bcz actions always speak louder than words... just ask DPC and Philly about that.
Given his monthly income, he doesn't have a real reason to speed things up. It's his supporters we should blame for believing his ridiculous lies. The dude allegedly has 1k+ renders, and this update is the biggest one yet, that's why it takes so long to be finished. But his updates never even had more than 500 renders, they barely had 400 lol, so why not split the big ass update in two and give the ppl what they want ??
He already said our saves are fucked (again) and a fresh start is required, so if that's not the case and he ain't lying and milking his supporters, why not release anything in ~1y ??SCAMcstor should sell his 'wisdom' on how to scam ppl the right way for good money, coz that scammer is so good at this that he could start his own cult of scammers. Even mobsters, politicians and bankers would be envious of their success.
I certainly do understand your frustration, I really do. Only reason why I am high on hopium with Lewdlab is cause I really like this game, girls, renders. I want it to continue. In his mind he is trying to always to do better than last time. His render quality is way better than in DoD. At the same time I noticed in the last update there were some weird clipping issues in the animations. That was the first time I noticed a flaw in his animations. With this gigantic update he is way too critical on himself. He wants to release perfection. Thats why its taking so long imo. But we all know, that wont be it. I am puffing my hopium till the end of valentine week. Yeah, won't be coming by the end of valentine week, that's for sure. He said in Discord on Sunday that they are "finishing up writing the remaining scenes and the testing starts next week", which is week 6, and as "there is a lot of things to test so it's gonna take a while". And seeing that he was supposed to write a progress post on Monday or Tuesday, yet it's now Thursday and still no such post is to be found, it can't be set in the stone that "the testing" even starts next week.
He is current under therapy because "mean comments" hurt his feelings. Hence no update.

Hey everyone,
As the title says here's some quick info about the progress.
What's being done:
Right now we are finishing up writing the remaining scenes. The amount of dialogue in this update is fucking nuts. 3 people on the team writes various amounts of scenes and don't worry, I'm writing the least amount.
I've finished the renders and animations I needed to make for the scenes. And holy shit it was a LOT. But I'm happy to say, it's some of my best work, ever.
I have a couple more days of writing left to do, and in the meantime, the others on the team are starting to test - which will take some time because of all the new content and systems we are putting in. A lot of the back-end is reworked. And unless we set everything up perfectly the first time, we'll have to iterate and optimize, especially the Affection Point system (not grindy but not meaningless).
What's left to do:
I'm adding chats/events to the in-game phone to make it a core part of the game. By my current estimates, it will go over 100 chats, where in some of them you'll also get some pics from the girls. Once Risael has enough time he will help out if I'm too slow with this, but I think I got it.
I need to do the usual QA pass on the renders and fix the ones that are wrong, same with the animations.
I need to make some additional renders that are needed for some of the new features the other members of the team implemented. (These are really just a few, don't panic.)
And again, testing, testing, testing.
But man, I'm excited, we're so close now!
