It is the last scene in the update, (depending on what order you do some things in), once you do the other events, you should be contacted. How trigger this one?
I had scenes with the maid and Olivia, is there anything else that I'm missing? It is the last scene in the update, (depending on what order you do some things in), once you do the other events, you should be contacted.
There is a scene with Annabelle, if you haven't already done that one.I had scenes with Kate and Olivia, is there anything else that I'm missing?
I haven't been able to trigger the scene with Annabelle. How can I trigger that scene? There is a scene with Annabelle, if you haven't already done that one.
It's part of the MC's second blackmail event:I haven't been able to trigger the scene with Annabelle. How can I trigger that scene?
No kidding. The 3D models were better in my opinion, but managing that hotel without using the cheats was annoying. And the sex scenes... There were barely scenes, and they weren't even repeteable. Well they were in a weird way, but not the way Man of the House did.i hope the dev actually steps it up this game. His last game, the sex scenes were mid at best, and managing that hotel was horrible. Hated the game design for that game. It was a step down from man of the house.
I mean, I generally like having some gameplay in my porn game (though Faerin is the only one that hits the sweet spot for me atm), but I can totally see why someone would prefer a visual novel than regular porn: It It lets you choose your path, and generally speaking, it has better plots than porn haha. Well, SOME do, anyway. So I understand why people prefer those.I'm not casting shade here, but I am curious about those who play adult games but aren't interested in the game part. Why not just watch regular porn or view CG galleries?
Probably a forum of a sandbox or management game ain't the best to speculate here, since those having the preference of "just CGs" or similar are less likely to read it and answer. But yeah, I am wondering myself.I mean, I generally like having some gameplay in my porn game (though Faerin is the only one that hits the sweet spot for me atm), but I can totally see why someone would prefer a visual novel than regular porn: It It lets you choose your path, and generally speaking, it has better plots than porn haha. Though people who just want the CG or endings? No clue, personally.
But yeah, although I personally really enjoyed Mystwood Manor despite 1. Wishing for more flexibility in progression (which I understand is a tough ask of a solo developer) and 2. Having all the sex scenes drop on you all at once when you get to levels 4 and 5 (something he has said he agrees with and is working to fix with this game), probably for the best to just make a more "basic" sandbox game like this rather than something more daring, design wise, like Mystwood was.
As far as I understand, the 20 cents per install only start when you (a) make more than $200k a year with your game, (b) have 200,000 life time installs, and (c) use a lower tier of the engine subscription (otherwise the fee will go down and the threshold will go up to $1M and 1M installs).I wonder how this project is going to go considering new Unity policy of charging 20 cents for each and every install, even on already released content
I am not sure how it applies here, as Patreon is subscription service. As far as I know, Faerin is not selling this game on Steam, just his other two. Either way, he is not earning 200,000 USD a year so it doesn't apply at him either way. If he reaches that threshold, he can buy Unity Pro license, which is 2000 USD a year, and which raises threshold bar up to 1,000,000 USD a year.I wonder how this project is going to go considering new Unity policy of charging 20 cents for each and every install, even on already released content
Hell yes I was worry about TONS of unity games in here but seem that we are fine now. Too bad that scummy move still affects a lot, like Cult of the Lamb devs decided to remove their game in 1st January 2024.I am not sure how it applies here, as Patreon is subscription service. I see Cartageno wrote same thing as I.
If you like those kind of games where there is actual mechanics, I'd recommend Astral Lust. Its got a good deck building turn based system that actually reminded me of MIST in many ways. Loved Mystwood Manor so super excited to try this one by Faerin!Ooooh, new Faerin stuff. Besides MIST, Faerin's games are probably the only adult games with any actual gameplay elements. 90% of sandbox games are just finding the right time to enter the right area to trigger the next scene in what is essentially a VN.
There is also the legality of changing the contract after the fact. There are a lot of issues here, and likely something will have to be rolled back at some point. Some scammy shit is going on though, that is for sure.As far as I understand, the 20 cents per install only start when you (a) make more than $200k a year with your game, (b) have 200,000 life time installs, and (c) use a lower tier of the engine subscription (otherwise the fee will go down and the threshold will go up to $1M and 1M installs).
(Also, it is only valid in some countries, but Faerin's is on the list)
I doubt that it will have that much of an influence on the adult gaming scene, although I still do not like this that much, albeit for different reasons. But the thresholds seem pretty high for this genre and, if reached, the income should be there to pay up.
True, but unlike with bought products, services can have changes to contracts and then you can either drop the service or continue on the new requirements. However, how willy-nilly this can be and what time frames you will have before it may take effect will depend on the contract, on what the law says in your specific country, on how essential the service is (not for you as a human being, that would be zilch, but on your business) and so forth. Lawyers may have a field day. There is also the legality of changing the contract after the fact. There are a lot of issues here, and likely something will have to be rolled back at some point. Perhaps, but they are also talking about doing this for games that are already released, games on older versions, etc. There has to be a limit on how far you can go with that "as a service" bullshit.True, but unlike with bought products, services can have changes to contracts and then you can either drop the service or continue on the new requirements. I agree. Any payments by the dev need to have a contractual basis before they can be levied. Asking e.g. for "royalties" off MotH years after it was finished with no provision back then should be off.Perhaps, but they are also talking about doing this for games that are already released, games on older versions, etc. There has to be a limit on how far you can go with that "as a service" bullshit.
