Not always (sometimes there is a bug), make sure you have everyone at 100% and that all of your galley events unlocked.
Downloaded the game again, same thing as before. I cannot enter Madeline's room at 21:00 to see the book there for the first time, and so when I go at 15:00 when the maid is in the other room, there is nothing to find. Nothing else I can do so I'm either missing a step or the game has crapped out yet again. Never had issues with previously releases so I must be forgetting something most likely but even following the guide I cannot see what I haven't done.

It'll actually be completed before then, as Faerin is hoping to have the game completed by November/December this year to go on Steam. So if everything goes according to plan, you won't have that long of a wait.That Anna girl immediately captured my attention, she looks good! Rebecca's said she's leaves the bedroom door unlocked at 4pm. Never had the message to say go to the room at 21:00. I've got rid of it again though as it's tedious enough to get through without starting over and over. Might try the game when it's finished but so far it's been my least favourite project from Faerin.

If it's the hint I'm thinking it is, it says, "When she is cleaning Madeline’s room in the afternoon, she doesn’t lock the door.". If that is the hint you are seeing, you will need to go into the room at 15:00 (3pm). The other one (21:00) is immediately after that hint, and it's one of Madeline's hints.

The day you do that event doesn't matter, as long as it's not on a day you need to take someone to their appointment.
If you are using the cheat mod that's in op, then that might be part of the problem. Mods are known to break the game and add bugs to your save, and we do not offer support to those that use it. Otherwise, you're trying to go into Madeline's room at the wrong time.

I've made some more corrections in the walkthrough with regard to the stats for the open dialogs with a few of the girls. They now match what I have in my stat sheet. I've also included some additions as well, namely, the 7 paintings you need to find. I've added thumbnail images to the "Paintings" page, so you can see what the paintings look like that new players will need to find and inspect (as part of the pass-code you need to unlock the metal door later in the game).
My screen goes black everytime i press any options in game, i played it for like 5 min and then it restarted lol

Are you using a cheat mod, or are you playing the game from inside the RAR?
I tried using cheat mode, didnt know how does it work and deleted it, now i see that cheat is not supported by devs, oh well, i got what i deserved

That's correct, as it changes unknown variables in the game, which is why we do not offer support for it.
