I don't get it. How to punish Madeline?

Is there a day counter or something for events to unlock? I keep taking them to do their stuff but nothing happens.
I have bought all that I needed and I have 100% on all my stats.
I have paid back what I owed and apparently I am an art afficionado.
I have startet to just skip the days and hours between when I have to take them somewhere.
Trying to talk to them seems to get me no where.
And I have not found any of the books besides the two already in the bookcase.

Since I been here, I have seen that happen twice on this site (both at the same time). They usually get scanned more than once.
But as someone on the team here, I can assure you that it was clean when we had it.
