You have to see his discord. Every time someone asks when the next update will be, serge simply ignores them and the others say don't ask that, read the rules.
I think it's kinda disgrace to not answer the patreon members who are paying.
After a developer collects donations above a certain level, he becomes filled with his own importance and begins to consider himself a “super star” and contemptuously dismisses fans (even his own patrons) as if they were annoying flies. Naturally, this does not have a positive effect on the quality of the project and the frequency of updates.
At least this is true for many developers.

I imagine they get tired of answering the same question over and over at some point before that. It was supposed to be released in October and the delay happened without any explanation and I think it's fair to ask about the state of the upcoming update.

I would not recommend the game "home in the desert" - there is practically no hot content in it. Maybe a year or two later you will be able to play it with pleasure, but now you will only waste your time.
The “final spell” game is good, but for some reason the dev started adding “futanari on a man” content, I fundamentally don’t like this, but if such things don’t scare you off, then you can try it.
I just don't understand the output. He is making a minimum of $9000 a month and can barely output and update every 3 to 4 months. Even if he's making comics in between.The comics should not take as long as they do in the first place. There are many other artists who output so much more than he does and get paid less. Also his no date's rule is very weird if somebody is paying for something they should be allowed to ask when the product will be available. The whole mentality in the Discord is Dumb.Plus there are no animations in the game it's just a glorified comic. I used to pay but recently stopped because of How he responds to people asking when will the stuff be done. If I'm paying I have the right to ask if it's going to be done on time or not. Plus the output is just garbage.
He releases less and less content and it takes more time, but people pay more and more and don't ask questions. When someone asks about anything, the others tell them to shut up. It is normal that it is almost a rule that people do not ask anything, lest others wake up and demand things from he. And he's not the only one. More and more 3D artists are starting to do the same
The entire system of Patreon and similar services is completely flawed. In fact, the only guarantee that you paid for a reason is the conscience, integrity and responsibility of the developer. The sites take their percentage from donations and don’t care about anything else at all, and Patreon also comes up with hypocritical “rules” like prohibitions on incest content and all that. Thus, real scammers do not bother them when they have their share from them, but fictitious stories and relationships of pixel characters are, of course, exactly what they need to fight against!

If you allow yourself to be treated like an animal, then you fully deserve such treatment.
What amuses me most are some “people” (including on this site) who, at the slightest attempt at criticism or expression of displeasure, begin foaming at the mouth and defending mediocrities, lazy people or even outright fraudsters. What’s also amusing is their argument that you don’t have the right to express your opinion since you don’t pay the developer. .The rules that prohibit incest is from Credit Card Companies, not from Patreon itself. If they didn't remove incest content from the platform then the Credit Card Companies would be removed from the site. That would mean end of the Patreon.
Please don't think i'm defending Patreon from taking money and not making the game makers to do updates or anything to advance the game making. I'm only defending the causation why incest content was removed.
Yeah most of these services have weird rules and how they apply them. But I'm even more upset at the people that are paying and Are okay with being lied to about dates and almost being ridiculed for asking when something is coming out. Also he made a post once about stories he has read that he really liked and straight up stole from those stories and copy them for his comics like bar for bar Without crediting the original creators. Just really shady in general
Yes, I'm aware of this. But for some reason, neither Patreon itself nor the credit card companies are concerned about cases of obvious abuse by content makers, i.e. they don’t care about the legality of the funds received, as long as the formal appearance of “decency” is maintained.
Question: I'm sure someone has asked this already but why can't we have a like patreon that uses monero instead of credit cards?

Because its crypto scam currency that has no real value. That is biggest reason there will never be any kind of porn site wanting to use it. Money has value cause we are all agreeing to it, but crypto currencies can just lose value over night or mere hours.
Well Patreon gets a cut and the credit card companies too so why would they do anything about it? Think about it for companys perspective, they don't need to do anything and money is flowing in. So why do anything when you don't have to.
