--Regardless of your choice of babes, Maggie the receptionist will provide you with documents after that choice. Before scooping up those documents, make a save for ANY (how about all?) future game branches.
True but in the Gloria option Joey is due for a favor towards her. (see bottom of this post for more)
IMO there are two problems when playing a game with choices that impacts the story progression:
1) When you don't know very well about the character you're chosing, so you have to make the decision on your instinct and, in the future, may regret the choice and redo all the story (and may even lose your saves and be unable to go back);
2) Its the fact that when you play in one or another route you'll lose some of the content. In this update, if you play in DR.MILF route (an almos unknow character), you'll lose Mrs. GLORIA content, so the amount of content you'll play each update will be half, unless you go back in each choice every time.
So, that's the reasons i prefer to play linear games, i'm just for the content anyway, but that's my opinion.
On this version of the game (Part 2) we are only testing the selection/route process and at the end (in 2-3 updates) of Part 2 the selections won't really matter as they selection system will basically start working fully with routes on Part 3 of the game.
To avoid what
PornHero i saying where the content will be reduced in half we will still be following a main storyline but the extra scenes OR how to go about getting the main scene will be different. This way the content will still be as now but it will be more fun to get.
For example:
In this update , Joey had the option of siding with Dr Milf in order to get the documents but the main goal is still to find Alicia. If this would had been Part 3 , and the system was fully implemented, then in the next update Joey would had to do something that Dr Milf will request from him , like getting her some information about someone or finding someone for her so Alicia will return. If Joey tries to talk with Gloria then she will be upset and she won't help him. This could resulted in a nice pinup/tease scene with the Dr but nothing major as the main storyline will conclude with the same scene (what ever that one will be).
If Joey had selected Gloria , then Gloria would had asked for something
totally different which would resulted in something Gloria-related but it would still result in the same final scene but with end result the Dr being angry and not helping him.
Important Note:
The final scene will still be the same animation-wise
but it could still be different in context butthe final-scene girl could be angry , sad or happy or
even having a different ending of the scene depending on the previous selection and the hero choices. This could also affect their clothing for the scene (fully or semi nude or even totally different outfit)
The girls attitude and how to go about getting them will change from these options and this will be carried out to next parts as well but the scenes will remain the same mostly with a few minor changes (like facial expressions and text). This will be implemented by a new variable which will affect each girl attitude towards the hero and that is what will basically be changing with the hero's choices. We already have that system build-in but it is currently not working (Hint: The Tablet where you see each girl)
In short:
The choices will effect the gameplay and how to go around doing things since Joey will get different tasks but the scenes will still be the same (somewhat) whilst to make players to want to replay the update we will be "awarding" the player with a mini-scene/pinup/tease for that specific route that he picked. This will also come in handy if some players are experiencing difficulties into getting the final scene then they can easily Load back , select the different answer and then continue by trying to do the alternative gameplay option.
We know that some players are still adjusting to the game as they find it different from other games (Especially in UI and Gameplay) mostly because they are accustomed to a certain engine and play-style -that we find very generic and limited-. To make things easier and more fun for those players in Part 3 we will include the selection/route process but we will also do changes to the UI and Date/Time system/Horny/Money/ etc system where we will remove the most unnecessary ones and show the ones that matter in a menu rather than have them constantly showing.
This is all in planning for now. We are still taking feedback/considerations and remarks while we prepare for this phase so nothing is set-in-stone for now.
