Same here. I am dreaming that the game isn't abandoned, but instead they are taking so long because they are reworking the whole game from the beginning without the grinding, improved UI, story etc.
It would be so awesome if that happened. But no, I don't actually think it will.
Ok guys, I along with 2 more in the team are rebuilding the game from scratch on Renpy using the tools and assets available at our disposal. the entire game is being overhauled with a different name and also the story is completely different from the original, but all the characters will still exist so don't worry. And if everything goes according to plan we will add even more characters to match the story phase. we will be removing 90% of the grinding from the game making it much more like an interactive VN where choices matter instead of sitting hours and grinding for money and scenes which is absurd. We are thinking of going on a route where you get to name the characters yourself before starting the game since this is a new story and we want to keep it fresh. we have no intention to plagiarize on original creators but we can't even get a response or have a discussion with the original devs as they abandoned the game and probably left the internet. But their Patreon is still up! and I have no idea why it's still there after abandoning the game and Patreon hasn't taken down their account, Also, I tried contacting F95 mods but had no luck as no one replies promptly.
Expect a demo build or version.1 in a month or so and we will be making a discord server once the game is out and probably some alternate route to get some financial help if everything goes right that is. But for now, take care and enjoy your holidays.

I have some questions, will the art be the same or different from the old art ?
Will there be new animations you are making or not ?
I hope the art is the same because, as you know, this is what distinguishes the game as well. The story and gameplay, with a few different additions, will be better .
And if the work is so elaborate that the audience thinks that the old developers have come back to sequel the game, believe me, you will get a huge amount of money.

We will be using the same old art which is available, coming to the animation we will use existing ones and also new ones in future as the game progress, given if nothing will come our way to stop the project that is. The story will be different and gameplay wise we want to keep it simple and not extra grindy, choices matter and we are thinking of doing multiple endings if all goes according to plan. as we have team members who are adept at Photoshop and illustration we can mix both new and old art merge and recreate into something new. all we need now is to provide the necessary tools for them to make the art precisely. but ill be straight about one thing and that is if the original creators DMCA us we will have to abandon the project and make a new game instead and I sincerely hope it doesn't come to that.Man, thanks for your effort, you made me happy, open a page in the Patreon to support you and your team .

I think that the Patreon system protects content creators from copying, you should read the terms of the Patreon .
The scary thing is that when you build characters like Linda, Joey, and Gloria and then release the first update, the Patreons give you a warning that it's copies of the original content .
I think you should change the name of the game and also change a few of the characters, for example, Linda's hair color is red. Make her hair color different, and also change the backgrounds of the house, school, etc. Try to be the same old art style .
Also, the best site to get money is Patreon, and as you know, incest is forbidden, so try to defraud them in your own way .

There wont be NTR with Gloria, Linda, or another man. it will be just joey that's it no one else.
There won't be another man except for Joey! And Joey screwing Linda and Gloria was NTR in aspect and that is what I meant.

We will be keeping the game simple to the core, without using the adept level of English for dialogues so people can understand the game. the original game was very confusing, yes and it was almost impossible to play without a guide and we don't want that to repeat. considering how the story is very straightforward I don't think a guide will be necessary as you won't be acquiring things like a camera, wallet, bottle, etc. we are trying to make it into a simple visual novel as this is an NSFW game, not an RPG where you have to grind and play for hours to get the scenes.

Cheers to you and your 2 colleagues and thank you for even trying this! If you also managed to get Inusen/Discreen on the boat again, this will become a bomb. Unless the original creators suddenly start causing trouble, but fingers crossed. I am sure you will have no problem getting this funded if your demo goes into the right direction.
P.S.: I've googled the walkthrough and still nothing regarding this exact segment.
