To be honest, I don't think I could tell you all the morphs I've used. I loaded up my caroline asset just to see which morphs I've used, and I use dozens, from several different places. For Caroline, I saw that I used Avery body - 100%, Dahlia body - 100% and Dahlia head - 100%, so I would start there and then just play around with the morphs until it looks accurate/something you like. tbh I'm not the best person to give advice because I'm pretty novice and I don't think my characters are the most accurate to the games anyway :LOL:. The best advice I can give is to mess around and figure out what looks good.

Also, if you use jokeyjay and OhWee's post, I noticed Caroline and Linda both look more tan in my renders than they do in the game. I kind of liked that look so I never changed it, but if you reduce the skin translucency weight in surfaces, it will make them look more pale. I found ~0.25 translucency weight looks pretty accurate to the game.

Friendly Reminder that DAZ released a new version. 4.23.
As always, the recommendation is to *Never* update as soon as the version is released.
The first rule of engineering is "if it works, don't f****ing touch it!" I have read comments that this version demands too much of the GPU's in temperature, so the recommendation is to wait for this new version to stabilize.

(or if DAZ works well for you as it is, (in my case, 4.21) don't update if you Really don't have to)

Does anyone want to share their character duf files ?
There's a link to the .duf files of my stabs at four of the MC characters (Sara, Caroline, Celia, Lily) in this post which re-lists the assets that have been identified as used in MC.

That post has a pretty extensive list of art assets used in the game, mostly compiled by jokeyjay. Also, I think others here have dialed in Caroline and Celia a bit more closely than I did, but it's up to them as to whether they'd be willing to share their efforts or not. As for Linda, I've never tried to take a stab at her, others here have.

I can share mine for Linda and Caroline. But you may get errors for missing files as I have extensive list of morphs. Try listing which ones are those missing files and you could try finding here in Asset list or at Render-State.to

DM me if you want them.

Guys i am trying to find Linda Hair asset. The asset that listed in the thred seems to be for Poser . I can't get it to work.

Can anybody please give me the link of Linda hair asset ? Thanks in advance.

It'll still work in Daz Studio, you have a couple of options.

1) Parent it to the head, and adjust the x/y/z scale to fit

2) Autofit using the Victoria 4 option.

As for how I managed to get it to work (tried it just now, I usually don't have problems with such things, I just autofit them.)

1) Grab this package (I'm assuming you did this already, just stating the obvious)

2) Grab the Runtime folder from inside the .rar, drag it into whichever Library you usually put stuff in (My Library, My Daz 3D Library, etc.) and merge the Runtime folders so that the assets are placed properly.

Folder placement is very important here. If you drag the runtime folder contained within the .rar inside of the Runtime folder in your library, instead of dragging the Runtime folder inside of your My Library/My Daz 3D Library/Whatever folder and merge the folders, the paths will be off and the asset may not work.

3) Go into your Poser formats inside of your Content Library Tab, choose whichever library you dragged the folder to, and then look for Figures > Ali > Hair. HR 159 should be in there.

4) Take your mouse and grab the thumbnail and drag it into your viewport window while nothing in your scene is selected, and the hair should appear. You could also try to apply the hair to your figure directly, I'm just having you drag the hair into the viewport to make sure it works/was installed to the proper folder paths.

5) The hair should be currently selected (in the Scene tab and in your viewport). Right click on the hair and choose the 'Fit To' option, choose Victoria 4 as the 'fit' option and of course choose Linda as the 'target', and the hair should fit to your figure.

6) Alternatively, you could just parent the hair to Linda's head and use the x/y/z scale and translate options to position the hair on her head, IF you can't get autofit to work (say if you are trying to fit to G8 or G9 maybe/don't have the V4 autofit option for some reason), although Autofit should just work.

That's what I did. Texture options should be in Poser Formats > (the library you installed the hair to) > Pose > Ali > Hr-159. If such things are important to you, you could then apply the Iray Uber base shader to convert the Hair to Iray, otherwise you can leave it in 3Delight format...
