You are a game developer so I would like to ask you a question if I may? I contend that game developers benefit from this site as a means of gaining patreons and F95 benefits from the traffic somehow(I actually am not sure how this site makes a profit). I know that I would never find any of these games it not for these F95 type pirate sites. Am I wrong to think that you benefit more than you lose by having the game pirated? It's not like you can put these porn games on any mainstream sites. I am thinking of making my crappy attempt at one of these games and I intend to give it out for free here.

I agree, and I've said this in several threads. People like ICSTOR and Dark Silver absolutely hate this site, because we're stealing their stuff. They either don't realize, or ignore, that the lion's share of their patrons come from here. People see the games here, try them, like them, and become patrons.

Instead of focusing on how much they would gain by having a good presence here, they choose to focus on the thieves stealing their work. Instead of seeing the piracy as lost opportunity cost, they should look at it as marketing. It's not like I'm going to pay for BB if I can't pirate it any more, so he's losing nothing by me pirating it. But I'd imagine the work I did (and published here) to get it running on a Mac might have added a few patrons to him. And if it didn't, that work translated over to Man of the House, and I'm damn sure my help added some more $ to Faerin.

LOL if you read my posts. You see that I always call her(my landlady) slutbag Linda. Caroline(my roommate) is a raging alcoholic who can't function without getting blind drunk. Probably because slutbag Linda damaged her so much by pimping her out when she was 10. Just so she could enough money to buy her business. Bob is unironically the best character in the game. MC is a rapist that drugs woman, blackmails them, and I think somewhat extorts them financially. Guy is a monster.

He has so many patreons for three main reasons. First, he hits a series of major fetishes. Big tits, milfs, lolis, and incest are all major themes that get play in Milfy City. Second, his models are better than most other porn game patreons, and between that and the fetish stuff he gets a lot more people paying attention to his work. Third, a lot of his patreon subs are long term subs. ICSTOR has been doing this shit for a while and as a result people are used to just tossing a few bucks his way every month. It's easy to simply ignore or forget that you're paying five to ten dollars to a patreon every month and even easier to justify it with "it's only a few dollars." It takes a lot of colossal fuck ups to actually get a patreon to start losing subscribers.

I totally disagree in all points you mentioned. As I said, it's a mystery to me and there are other methods to gain patreon "skill" is not the only option.

I totally disagree in all points you mentioned. As I said, it's a mystery to me and there are other methods to gain patreon "skill" is not the only option.

He's been on Patreon since September 2015 and has built an audience, this game is what lead to his large jump in Patrons from his pre-MILFY City peak of 1,367 in February 2017 to now and I'd be willing to bet the attention from here of the game has helped as well. However it's absolutely had to do with his checking a bunch of boxes and trying to cater to a wider audience, still being at least above average on the render/model front with a game that's simple and light on story which makes it easier to follow have certainly helped as well. Dropping RPGM in favor of Ren'py probably didn't hurt either.
