Wow, i checked out this thread to see if there was any progress with updates and the dev and all. Let's say it's polarizing.
I have a hard time figuring out why a game despite being good is as close to abandoned as it could be can remain top 1 for so long.
Models are dop, game is fun but thinking that this is going to have steady updates or going tobe finished on day is purely delusional imo.
I still hope i'm wrong tho, but I'm sure lots of games currently don't get as much attention and supporters as they should.
Maybe stop supporting and encouraging the dev will be a sufficent message for him to realize it's time to move on. (and maybe focus on health, i heard he burned out, or maybe i'm mistaking him for another).

From what I gathered fans have turned against him, hence why he forced himself to collaborate with other artist to help develop the game.
The problem is ICSTOR is pretty lazy and seeks the quickest way out by wanting to develop another new game under the excuse of burning out from Milfy City. I get it, it's easy to get burned out. That is why you need a crew to do this. I know Summertime Saga is praised all the time, but you can't deny they are doing the proper thing a game dev should do.
For now, I'm not gonna hold my breath until new update hits. Although I feel not holding your breath for a new update is a little too hopeful.
I tend to agree. I mean there are some good ones, but these...honestly I'm not sure there ARENT more games that look like this one. His stuff (when he does it) is objectively good. I mean, its like he does something shitty and it invalidates what he does well? Its like the attitude that once someone does something they dont like it retroactively erases anything they have done well. He's not a very good developer, but compared to many many many other amateur developers (I think he's still amateur patreon or not) he's pretty damn good.

at makeing art... yes.
In the past however the overall quality in gameplay, art and story was astoundingly.
Ever since his first attempt of 0.6 only the art seemed to keep it's standard... that is if you don't consider animations as part of the art.
at 0.5 the game was a 4 (maybe 4.5) out of 5 ... after 0.6 it's a 2.5 (maybe 3 if you are generous)

Because the last time i played this game it had absolutely cringy incel writing and dialogues(i think i've lost at least 10iq while trying to read this shit), garbage one-dimensional female characters (but some of them are fucking hot, i agree here). Yeah, Celia is hot. Picture quality is rather high but not outstanding nor the best out of all porn games. And animations always were 1-second mediocre quality loops.
So no, this game isn't head and shoulders over other games on this site, it's mediocre, better than plenty of shit games but can't hold a candle to good ones.
So it feels like people still support icstor not because this game is great but because most of them are cultists who lack self-respect.
And that's funny.

I haven't played it in awhile, I'm just going by what I read on here. Don't curse me. But is it true that with the latest S.saga update, your past saves don't work, you have to replay??? Hope not, its an RPG, put alot of hours into that game to get to current save. Not the kind of game you can start from scratch for an update and be happy about it.

and last time I checked it's actually that saves are finally compatible with older Versions... but only since 3 Version now from what I understand, if your saves are older it's still true

Weren't we supposed to get an update 4 months ago? Then after 4 months of being past due he's all like "guys i wanna make another game?" Holy shit, people really weren't joking about the 1 update a year thing. Imagine constantly having sarcastic replies like that only for them to all actually be correct. Of course sadly once his new game comes out people will cream themselves, hype it up and his patreon support will climb again. Sigh.

I swear the internet has become so hyperbolic everything has to be the best thing ever or the worst thing there is no room for "great but not perfect" or "good but not great". Imagine if all reviews of movies were written like this, "Xyz movie is the greatest movie I have ever seen in my life." next week "Xyz movie is the worst thing I have ever seen in my life" rinse and repeat.

a game can have the best of the best renders, animation, models etc but if it's plain vanila, then it's a meh for me. this game has the perfect combo. great models, great renders, great animations, milfs, lolis, incest, a good story. hell if there was an african american female too it would be pefect. too bad icstor doesn't realize what a gem his game is. he would probably get more patrons and income if he released updates frequently
