I use the same Caroline model as many other fan artists do. I made this "filmposter" style spoof just for laughs. Had to fiddle with lights for a long time to get it to match to the BttF poster. But in lighting it that way and not having a high end GPU her face is a bit overexposed. The BttF poster is a painting , I'm very lucky to have gotten my lighting this similar. One more abandoned character by Icstor, could’ve been a ”filler” to add more content for some update like that black/white haired Cindy was.

Oh, yea. Cindy. The little punk girl that started off on her knees under the Headmaster's desk in school and ended carried out by a gangster in the nightclub to turn up later in a storyline never written. Damn! She looked like she might have been full of fun, naughtiness and comedy if only she had reappeared, maybe during an episode where the Headmaster calls in the favour the MC owed him for recovering Caroline's necklace. Why can't Icstor just sell Milfy City to another talented developer to take over and progress if he can't get it up creatively anymore? Or let some other team take the story forward and either pay them a fee or split the money with them, maybe supervising their output and only releasing material he has approved? I've just finished Milfy City's current content and am really keen to see how things play out for all of the characters, even minor ones, and I suppose new ones that would have come to the fore in a nebulous "later" that is "yet to be" or more likely "never to be" sadly.
I love the game and believe you me I'm particular.

He sells Milfy City to others: he loses his patrons, which means he loses his income.
He pays fee or splits the income with someone: he still loses money.
Icstor is all about money these days, and people are paying him only because of Milfy City. No Milfy City means no supporters, no supporters means no income. That's why he is delaying this situation with Milfy City, because he knows that as soon as he is done with it, people will scram off from his Patreon because they couldn't care less about his other projects anymore, especially when the "complete" version would be far from complete, so he has to milk as much money as he possibly can before he has to pull the trigger.

If true how the heck can he keep getting away with it long term? I mean surely people won't be supporting him via Patreon in five years, say, if he doesn't stump up something by way of updates or new games between 2021 and 2026? If he really is pulling strokes like that he can't keep that up forever.
Too many people take the liberty of quantifying an appropriate development pace based off patreon contributions. Dev's are not contractually obligated to do anything, and support is 100% voluntary. This is a project, not a job. The gossip train is so far down the tracks, people seem to know everything about the developer's life.. just not his identity.
I can 100% guarantee you the person you're responding to has little to no idea what he's actually talking about. Just making an excuse for the sake of lowering public opinion because he's frustrated the game is taking so long to develop. You'll see the same kind of posts on the Summertime Saga thread and patreon. It does suck. Waiting 4-5+ years for what is basically artistic porn is frustrating.
Every developer works at their own pace. This doesn't make any of them better or worse people. If there's any concern, stop supporting. It's THAT simple.

Milfy City was his biggest success so far and not only allowed him to live a life as a Porn Dev but live a life in leisure.
He can't let go since he knows he can't recreate that success... returning to work for his bare minimum of living is something he is likely afraid of
You nailed it right there. The main complaint people have is that development is too slow, which has 2 subarguments based on whether you support him or not. If you support him, then you have a right to complain because you have been paying by the month rather than for the end product, but if it is really that bad then just unpledge. If you don't support him, you really don't have a right to complain that much because you're leeching his work anyway.
People complain about all the other "stupid sheeple" or whatever who support him to allow this slow paced work to go on. I guess there is an argument to be made that if enough people unpledged he would speed up work, but idk, if they wanna spend their money on it you really can't stop them.

He has been getting away with it for two years now, and it seems to be already a good start for the third year. People are still willing to buy his lies because they like the game so much that they, like everybody of us here, would like to see it get to the end and they still want to believe that it would be the case. I don't know, but to me personally that just seems impossible. It took him a full calendar year to make the 0.6 update in 2019, even though he already had the renders for Carolines final scene ready in March, before he said he was taking time off because of his health issues. He wasn't able to put out any updates in 2020, and he was jumping the gun from going 0.7 update to 0.9 and 1.0 update, all the way back to making 0.7 and then finally in December again back to 1.0 update.
In 2019, he was still communicating with his supporters, he was having Q&A-updates and the progress was being heard of. In 2020 he made total of 8 posts, which two of them was about Project X/Milfy Kingdom, when in comparison to 2019 he did 13 posts that all were about Milfy City, even though he was "on a break" for two full months. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is pointing at him having any interest in this game anymore or to finish it at all. This man is doing 7000-70 000+ dollars in a month, so he will just grab a nice retirement bag as long as there is stupid enough people to pay him for it.
Okay, so if this is only a project and not a job for him, then why doesn't he make the game and every update of it free, just like SummertimeSaga? Why does he collect money from people to actually get the game, if it is just a project and not a job?

For regular game development progress, usually v1.0 means final version even if the previous version is numbered 0.7 or 0.55, etc.I look at patreon out of curiosity and see that the next version will be (v1.0) why so? Dev explained?
A bit strange, since the current version is v0.6e.
But in ICSTOR's case it means a half assed ending for an incomplete game. Why? Because this was the way with his previous games and probably will be the same for future ones.

Basically what depechedNode said above, Icstor wants to "get rid" of Milfy City so he won't be asked about it anymore since he hasn't really been interested about it ever since releasing 0.5 update, which is also the reason for him not making content for it more than once in a year or so. The fact that he lost interest in this game I know, because he doesn't care about the game or his patrons. (We can see it after what time is the update to this game)
Too bad he lost interest in Milfy City. The game is great. But Dev is.. Eh.
I'm not even going to play his second game if he can't finish this one. Why? when I can bet that he won't even finish his second project that he started. And the updates will probably be like for Milfy City, every year/two.

Hey guys this game has always been on my list to eventually get to, but being a sandbox kinda scared me away. I’m tempted to give it a shot, just how grindy is it? Is it easy to advance the ‘story’?
