Finally loaded up the new content. Last save was october 2019...I have no clue what I am doing. Was there a hint system in this game? I forgot and am wandering around like a chicken with it's head cut off.

I keep getting a blackscreen when starting the game up. i just have the main menu music, have tried running as administrator already. Anyone can help with this? thanks in advance

This thread is too moot IMO. Too much haters but then they keep playing it after the update is out.

I understand that it took quite long to release the update and it even marked as abandoned when it was well announced a month before that the release will be on the 14th.

And yet MODs didn't take these into consideration and went ahead tagging it as abandoned.

If the MODs took the time to wait and see then tag the thread, it would have made sense but since the MOD in charge didn't do that, it created bad publicity for ICSTOR.

I'm not defending the dev here or flaming the MODs, just pointing out the obvious to which has created such bad hype in some games where the dev took beyond mentioned time to release their work.

It's absolute abhorrent from the MOD.

And guess what'll happen next >> check the reaction to this post and you'll figure the picture

You are confusing the causal relationship. Since only the "abandoned" tag affected the release of the new version within two weeks. If this tag did not exist, you would never have seen the update.

Steps to install;
Install zip and install z Archiever from playstore
Extract zip
You will get an apk and an folder with name com.app.mf
Cut the folder with name com.app.mf and paste it in android>obb and install apk and play .

I don't know if people are intentionally being ignorant here or just love bashing ICSTOR (hey it's fun and it gets out your frustration, I get it...) but can we get some rationality back in this forum?

I've already made my speculation here BEFORE the update was even released and I seem to be correct in this theory.

He has work done for at least 2 full updates (0.7 AND 0.8) that means he's currently working on 0.9. What he's doing is releasing a FULL UPDATE in an episodic format which means we'll get less content but we'll get them bi weekly (so much more frequently).

He has work done (in terms of renders not script writing as he hires when he's ready to "print" as confirmed by Onyxdime) and he's created this time lag so that he's now actually ontop of his work and he can sit back a bit more without the pressure of releasing the current update within a few months.

This is how he should have been working from the start, HOWEVER, just because we got the update (which was technically delayed since he promised the 14th and was updated on the 15th instead) we have yet too see if he keeps his 2 week promise on the update. I am not saying he's reformed or changed in anyway, I am still cautious of his "promises" but if I see at least 3-4 updates (that's around 8 weeks) consistently delivered then I'll start thinking about giving him a second chance.

He's made the Patreon post, he's made the promise to keep on schedule now he has to stick to his word.

I hope you speak truth, my friend. This game needs to be done, or completely left alone.

Dude have you been under the rock for the 2 years prior to releasing this mini update and haven't witnessed the commedy galore brought by icstor? First of all this game is still abandoned. There will be no more updates - period. This little scene was produced over last month and beside that guy is burned out. He said that I think 3 years ago that he doesn't want to finish it. The only thing that made this update trickle down is upcoming income of around 200 k USD for the next year of silly excuses. I have read plenty about this masochistic fan boys of this dev but haven't seen any for a while. Yet now here you are.

What I kind of find ironic is that he was actually quite active in his Discord until he released the update. After that it seems to gone back to the same thing where he doesn't write anything and has set his status as "idle" once again. One sarcastic gif answer to someone who called him a scammer and then a screenshot from his Patreon page to show the progress bar for .73. You would think that after so long the guy would be boasting and explaining things much further there, but he just seems to be closed up to his own bunker once again. Feeds more and more to the idea that this was a quick work to just lift the abandoned tag away from here.
