What's the best way to make money? I feel like the part time jobs make a pittance and I end up save scumming the rock paper scissors game..

If you have a reasonably good memory, than in my opinion is the memory game on the computer a good way to make money. You must play it several times, but that way how you make secure money. The more you can remember, the more money you get

He doubled his revenue since he started this game. Unless he has plans for a new project that's as good, there's no reason he would end this one too early

one thing i got to say to the developer (and any game developer)

if u wanna grow the fanbase, add some character twists.
e.g. someone goes to jail, another gets merried, or gets deported.
or go GoT on us and kill ppl.

a great example was on DoD, where she goes back home to her mother and we had to fly there to get her back. it all adds to the story, it's not all "Faster" or "Cum on *insert here body part*"

it doesn't have to be a long story, but short ones( like quests) or much like DLC in other console games.

your opinion correct but not if ones taste enogh crap in real world ok if you want that just turn TV on any News channel ok simple and this is a porn games so yes cum insert is part of game remember this

That's the problem when 99% of the time and resources are spent on animations.
All you have left then is to build some incoherent story and game play around them.
Writing a VN is like writing any screenplay. There are certain rules to that which have to
be followed, or the story will not be very good.
Just like with the movies - great SFX and lame story.

Knowing that you really can't have both (unless you got half a dozen devs working on it) -
I'd prefer a good story and game play over fantastic animations.

By far the memory game is the best way to make money in it. It's not that hard either.
If you have to match 3, just open the first column and if you see 2 the same, remember where they are and move on until you find the 3rd one. Same for the match 4 except go aalon the rows instead of columns. I normally complete the game with 10 secs left but there has been times when icI' competed it in less than 30.
