I have too agree with people saying the writing took a nosedive with caroline. Nobody excpects the older sister to be a virgin but the way she keeps mentioning how serval guys fucked her bareback while being intimate with the MC is really off putting.

I guess its some form of kink from the writer cause the mother also mentioned how famous she was for her blowjobs back in highschool. I dunno its just not my thing to be into women that bragg about the amount of STD they have...

uhhh...I know it sounds stupid but....what's the white wine for? I bought it but so far it does nothing in the last few updates:tf: and I can't seem to trigger ANY bathroom scene to use the spy camera...does everybody not take showers/bath anymore?:tf:

So, you have`t used the spy camera even ones ???? If I remember correctly, Mom was atleast ones in bathroom, others I`m not sure !!!!

I played until the last version, but I formatted the pc, then I lost the save to continue in this version, and what you have on page 1 at least in my not handle

I just wanted to make a short announcement regarding Caroline.

*There are some minor spoilers for 0.4 included within this post, so I would urge you to read at your own caution.*

I've been given some leeway to write scenes as I see fit based upon the images provided. In some instances, this has allowed me to develop characters' backstories beyond what ICSTOR had originally designed or envisioned.

In this instance I chose for Caroline to have several ex-boyfriends given that she's a young woman in her mid-twenties. It only seemed natural that she would have had some previous relationships by that age. I didn't anticipate that it would lead to a backlash in any way. I strongly disagree with some individuals' claims that she is "the town bicycle" or a "slut," but I'm not here to start an argument.

One of the purposes of Caroline's exes was to provide a sharp contrast of how they treated her, compared with how the player treats her. The nightclub scene served as an example of such. Gradually, as Caroline and the player do more together she realises that nothing is the same as it was with her exes. She gets butterflies in her belly with every kiss, she experiences pleasure that past partners never gave to her, and she learns that she might be able to have a healthy romantic relationship with the player.

Another reason I chose this is because I felt it fitted well with her character. Caroline is a character who strives for maturity and independence (Granted, she can't always achieve her goals on her own). It made sense for her to be proactive in her social life, as well as her work life. This is why I wrote her character as having multiple previous relationships.

The final reason is that Caroline is a character who enjoys sex. She's more than happy to use it as a reward for the player when they assist her in her shop. Why would such a character who is both fiercely independent and
positive about sex choose NOT to date and try to find a boyfriend?

I do apologise if you are unhappy with how Caroline's backstory has developed. Any blame for that lies entirely with myself, and not with ICSTOR. At present, I am working with ICSTOR to make small alterations, including editing away references to multiple previous partners. Thankfully, in this medium of art, nothing is set in stone and adjustments can quickly and easily be made to resolve potential issues.

The most productive conversation that can probably be had regarding this is: Are you happy with any of the women having former partners? (Obviously some like Linda require at least one former partner for logic's sake.)

If the answer is a resolute 'no', then I know I can irk away from it during future versions of this game.

I'll remain around for the next hour or so to answer questions - but it's an extremely active thread, so if I don't get back to you I'm probably swamped replying to other users.

Hey, not sure if you're still around but I just wanted to give my two cents about something else I've been having problems with.
The MC to be exact, I'm not quite liking how passive and naive. While I completely understand that he is inexperienced and you do a great job of addressing that trough his dialogue, I think sometimes it becomes a bit extreme.

First, how naive he is, while he always felt kind of dumb at times with not noticing how much Linda was obviously coming on to him at times and in various other instances; he felt EXTREMELY dumb during Liza's storyline. Since the begining Yazmin was basically spelling out what she was thinking of doing to him with comparing the dildo's size to his dick, yet he NEVER even tried to put 2 and 2 together.

Secondly, how passive he is, again, I understand he is inexperienced at that his relationships have recently begun but he's incredibly basic in bed. He's never even a little bit dominant during sex and that very much turns me off. There's basically no dirty talk coming from him during sex, no trying to be a bit rougher with the girls etc. With the exception of course of the last sex scene with his Aunt and Yazmin where he actually did something which probably made it, imo, the best scene in the game. That was a little shine of light within him and I sincerely hope we see more on that with other characters too. Especially with Linda since, from her toughts, we can see she obviously wants him to be mre dominant with her. But honestly, it would be amazing to see him dominate even the innocent Sara or someone like Caroline who has been the one to call the shots until now.

Again, I understand the MC is still a character and you have your own plans for him. Thing is, we are the ones controlling the character and we don't want him to be dumb, because that way it seems like we have no power in the story, and in that case there's no point in this being a game.

Still, I love your work and wish the best for you, I'm just giving y opinion and hoping to give you some constructive criticism.

Well that should appease people, played the changes. Instead of saying "3-4 guys" Caroline now says "my ex" (this as the original response is a answer to MC's question) and makes a point of saying "lets stop talking about him. I want to forget that time". Happy now?

Did they also changed the interaction between Caroline and her friend Violet who blows MC for making up a favor?

She mentions she will let Caroline do the same to some of her male friends which in my opinion made Caroline a whore just like Violet. I thought the perfect response would have been something like:

"She will pay me back somehow but she would never do something like this. She can be wild but she wont do sexual favors without feelings involved."

Thats more the older sister i envisioned.

Violet saying she'd get Caroline to do something and Caroline actually agreeing to do it are two different things. Violet agreeing to it says more about Violet than anything. I felt like the whole Violet BJ thing wasn't really something Caroline would normally involve herself in despite what Violet said and it was more a desperate attempt to distance herself emotionally from MC.

Not so sure about that after last update but i know what you mean. I actually thought the same until i played 4.0
