Ren'Py - Completed - Milfy City [v1.0e] [ICSTOR]

This was a pretty good game. Unfortunately the developer has bent the knee to Patreon's guidelines so he can make an extra buck by scrubbing the game clean of the content we enjoyed. There's now no reason to continue supporting the devs. It was a good run.

This game is pretty awesome.

+ The dialogues are very good and the characters are believable.
+ The animations and graphics are nice.
+ The story is actually interesting.
+ I haven't encountered any bugs so far.
+ The Incest is pretty on point. almost as good as Dating my Daughter or Dreams of Desire, Almost.

- My only problem is the exaggerated models. that kinda ruins it for me. the ridicules butts and chests and waists! they used the one-piece measurements for women in this game! Gigantic butts and busts and tiny tiny waists! lol

The game used to be decent, even solid, but it never gets updated. The developer only updated the game once in over 2 years, with a rubbish update, just to no longer have the abandoned tag. In reality, this game is abandoned and not worth playing. And definitely not worth supporting the developer.

I kind fo enjoyed this game whe i played it 1000 years ago, but in the end, the payoff was so non existent, that the experienced kind of rewrote itself with a bitter ish taste.
So i didnt even care back then to write a review, it was that forgettable, it even took me time to played it after this later release 7 was published.

I dont know if there is a expression like sell short por the opposite, but if it would happen to exist, in this particular game, this dev is definetly doing it, and i dont understand the praise. I played some other game of his and the memory is quite better overall, but looking at this work, he is far from being a genious.
For starters body proportions are broken to the point where, if it used regular human like poses, for instace lying on bed, you would probably watch the girls hips touching shoulders. A simple to to pose as that is done with the girl suporting her weight on the knees and elbows with the belly clearly floating. Nobody with a healthy back can do that sticking out the butt, but this genius does it that way.
Another pose lying on the side with the weight over the thighs, but hte hip kind of floating, well there are a lot more of this lazy posed renders.

And then we have this MC and his level of poetry is "she looks more beautiful than the stars in the sky tonight" and other corny poetic lines straight from the twilight saga.

And then we have a story that is suposed to be canon incest, but many times someone is telling reason for something not being posible and "its my brother, or mother" or whatever is usually the last thing mentioned. If you wanted her to phrase it like that kind of as a joke or sarcasm, maybe she could say something like "and did i mention that he is my brother?"

I dont know, the game tries, i guess it tries to make eveyrthing it does but keeping the length and words to the minimum required for it to kind of work, but if you actually are paying attention while you are playing it you can quickly feel that its kind of bland and boring.

Also i dont know if the dev notices that the school is empty since the beggining of times, and seeong work in pogress messages make your game look cheap. In the end the overall feeling o the game matches with these things, you kind of feel the same lazyness vibe.

And in this latest update, i gave the phone number to Lily. Later the mc dosnt mention it when he is outside the room, after arguing with Sara. He do mention it during the fight though. Once again, another thing that kind of makes you think that the dev maybe is not really caring, but why would he?
This is definetly not his best work, adn the animations that he sells like the most groudnbreaking shit ever, are actually decent, but thats it, they do the job, but like everything else in this game, it dies halfway.

I this is one of your first ames ever, or maybe you are around 20and you are more honry than me and you like specific characters, maybe you wont see flaws and enjoy what its there. For me it doesnt work at all, with exception of some moments that didnt seem staged and preplanned and preditable.

I've played through this game a few times over a span of a couple of years. What started out as a promising game with great renders and a solid world has turned into a bit of an incoherent mess. The renders are still fantastic and the love interests are super hot, but the second half of this game seems stilted and rushed. The plot kinda just drifts along at this point. There's a ton of content, which is one of the few positives.

Good character development, beautiful models and fast paced gameplay. I like the story and i specially enjoy most of the sex scenes. My favorite character is Sara because she seems appropriate for the age of the protagonist and she looks really young. Although I'm not a fan of Milfs i gotta admit the models used in this game make me desire a milf

Graphics: 3.5 / 5. During his first outing he was one of the best. Now he is just above average.

Animation: 3/5. Same as for graphics.
Sound: 2/5. Ambient sounds and music are generic
Update: 0/5. Only one update of 400 renders and 40 animations in 2 years.

When it was first released, this game was among the best. Unfortunately, the developer's policy is detrimental to this game. I am very pessimistic about seeing this game end one day.

Updated from original review on August 9, 2021, when the game was in "abandoned" status.

It may be that I would have lower expectations if the game hadn't been around so long. The funny thing is that Milfy City was actually a stellar example of what porn games were capable of, just 4 or 5 years ago, but the genre has moved on and other developers have really raised the bar. Playing Milfy City today just isn't as exciting, but I'm glad ICSTOR completed it and hope that maybe he'll go on to something new (allegedly he has another game well along in development).

I gave this game 4 stars in 2021 shortly after it was abandoned. I never imagined it would be completed. Now that it is and I've played through it, it's probably 3 or 3.5 stars. On the plus side, ICSTOR's visuals remain strong, even if the overall look is rather dated now. The character models are unique--never seen them anywhere else--and the girls are hot. Sara, Caroline, and Linda are among the sexiest porn game characters anywhere. The finished game is very similar to the last version from a few years ago, but there is quite a bit of new content, too. Some of that new content is quite good. The resolution to the story with the lesbian aunt and her wife was super hot, I thought, and the scenes with Judy, the psychologist, and Lily, Sara's "best friend," escalate nicely.

Some content from the original game was removed or changed significantly, as well. I assume this was done primarily to make the game acceptable for sale on Steam. For example, the mother-daughter neighbors are now just the neighbor woman who wants nothing to do with the MC. There's one brief scene with her but it's hardly worth it at all. One tone shift was made by replacing all references to "school" with "college," presumably to eliminate any doubt that the MC and Sara, in particular, might be underage. While understandable, the word change appears to have been done literally by using the find-and-replace feature in Microsoft Word, as the word "college" is used even when it sounds really awkward. Like Linda will ask the MC "Are you going to college today?" which no one would ever ask. Another change that made me laugh is that the MC is no longer really trying to blackmail Celia. Instead, she asks him to pretend to blackmail her and make her feel she's being coerced, etc., because she enjoys it. "And you better be convincing," she tells him. The problem is that the entire rest of the blackmail plot continues to play out exactly as it had in the original. MC was so convincing it caused Celia to forget it was all an elaborate game, apparently.

Despite this, the MC is still a psycho cat burglar rapist who fondles women in their sleep, then thinks lovingly of them when they're awake. That and several other aspects of the story are contradictory and ultimately nonsensical. The plot and many characters are clearly meant as parody.

The gameplay is a bit frustrating and should have been updated. Most other devs making these kinds of sandbox titles have built in time savers, like fast travel, while Milfy City really looks like a game from 5 or 6 years ago. My biggest frustration was trying to accumulate in-game money. The MC can work small jobs, but mostly must earn money by playing endless rounds of rock-paper-scissors or a memory-style card flipping minigame. The most challenging version of the memory game earned $50 each win but I found it usually impossible to win in the time allotted. So I could usually only manage $25 per win. When a late game quest required me to cough up $1000 to proceed, I was extremely aggravated.

And the game is buggy. Just one example: there is a new nighttime booty call feature, but the only character I was ever able to call was Caroline. Sara and Linda remained grayed out.

Bottom line, despite everything, the game still has some really hot characters and delivers some very erotic scenes. There is a ton of content here for people picking it up for the first time. Getting to that content will occasionally be annoying, but most players should find the effort worthwhile.

Great start with lots of different characters (Sara is best), and a rare (in incest games) fun dad. Proper UI, nice graphics, mini games for money grid. The work what is in the game is visible. Story is kinda usual but we didn't come for greek tragedies.
AND that's the past sadly.
Now, constant fall of quality both in writing and graphics. Inconsistent with the previous stories. Interlaced artifacts on video. Creator always lie about updates and release dates. Do not count on proper ending.

High quality renders. Original and imaginative story. Experienced developer, pioneer of this industry. What to say more. Go for it.
Well, all of that is correct, but it has to be added, developer lacks commitment. He can start a story, grow fan base, but somewhere in middle of development, he gets bored. And we get empty promises, sporadic releases... Anyway, this is still a good game with lot of content.

Milfy City [v1.0b] [ICSTOR]

With this version, the game has undoubtedly gotten worse, but it certainly doesn't deserve a star.
During development I had put 5, later lowered to 4 for the "dropped" now I lower it again because you notice that it was picked up quickly and just to give a continuation to the subscribers.

Errors noticed (I don't want to try again the new version released recently, in theory from what is written in the changelog they should have solved the bugs):
- Store music that overlaps with the current one;
- Taking a bath without thinking about anything makes the screen go black (which also happens a few times on other occasions);
- Celia's new route which I was unable to carry out, except for the initial scene, which is horrendous considering that after the initial scene of the new route I was able to do the classic route, creating meaningless dialogues.

The added story unfortunately isn't done well for any character.
The pool girl has the worst scenes in the game (subjective).
Liza has some nice scenes, but the development is too rapid compared to the previous story.
Linda and Bob not appreciated, obviously due to personal taste.
In short, I continue to recommend the game but it was really a disappointment.

Good:

• Unique Interesting characters
• Colorful bright renders
• Fun believable situations

Bad:

• Too much animation ( To me it diminishes the effect of the still renders and most of them aren't memorable and feel uncanny). I think the dev would have probably completed the game by now if he dropped the animations. But seeing as it was one of the game's major selling points , understandably , it would have been hard to make such a decision.

• Some parts of the game feel incomplete or untweaked ( for example the money making system or the ladder climbing mini game which I find extremely annoying.)

Overall I feel like no other game can replicate milfy city's feel. The story is simple but the execution amazing. Because of that I find the characters and situations they find themselves in very memorable.

However I feel like the development of the game stagnated for too long and a lot of the magic is gone as well as the passion from the dev.

So it seems like a lot of the recent reviewers forgot that the reviews are supposed to rate THE GAME, not the dev or the latest update. I will actually be rating the whole game in this review.

Milfy City is the classic premise of some guy wakes up one day / moved back in with his family and decides to fuck every girl in town including his own family. There is not much story for the MC, instead the games focuses entirely on the relationships with the several love interest. And that is where Milfy City shines.
The girls don't simply jump on your dick the moment they see you. There is some buildup and drama for every girl before you get to actually fuck them. Especially the story with Linda, the MCs mother, is really well done. Milfy City is one of the few games that manages to tell an incest story and actually somewhat include the social taboo that comes with it. In many games you can fuck your sister and nobody seems to even care, but here MC and his mom go through a great effort to be alone with each other without anyone catching them or suspecting anything. It makes the game so much more immersive and makes the incest so much more taboo, and hotter.
Caroline and Celia also have a lot of great drama in their relationship. Sara, the youngest sister of the MC is sadly still very underdeveloped, but hopefully Icstor will fix that in the coming updates. I have high hopes for the future updates.
Another strength of the game is the internal dialog of the girls. Especially during sex scenes, you can read their inner thoughts, thinking about how good they feel and how hot the MC is, which is really hot to read for the player. I wish every game did that.

The only real issue I have with the game (ignoring the dev drama and total lack of updates in 2020) is the money grind. That is just tedious and stupid. Either you have to play memory on your PC or sort files at your dad's company. This is boring, grindy and serves no other purpose that to bloat gametime, I hope Icstor gets rid of stupid grind like that in his future games.

In conclusion, Milfy City is a fantastic game. It might no longer be the best game on the site and the golden standard for all western porn games, like it was in 2018, but it is still one of the best games here on F95 and definitely deserves the 5 star rating.

This game started out really well, and was one of the best several years ago. But with time, it has not really aged well. Its plot lacks depth, and doesn't make you attached with the MC. And there are no real arcs for majority of the characters. The animations are decent, but still better animations are available in other games. Some actions can be considered grinding, and then one has to resort to mods.
That said, one of the main girls, Caroline, is still one of the best looking girls among all adult VNs. Some other main girls can also be considered really hot. I think it is them (their looks) that most of this games' players are attached to and not really the game itself. Although, there's a lot of content to play for if you start playing from the beginning, beware that the game's update cycles are one of the worst. And you might have to wait for years for more content.

Being one of the first players myself, and having waited for years for updates, I am actually very frustrated with the game, and wanted to give it a one star rating. But objectively, there is still a lot of fap content in the game. And thus, the game does deserve some stars just for the beautiful characters and their sex scenes.

Still worth it for people to play the early content but don't count on having an ending in this game.

What can I say about this game ? Except that it is the " Megan Fox of adult games". Just like her, this game came in with a bang, then suddenly went downhill and now nobody knows when it'll show up .. Well, unlike Megan, this dev is still milking his cash cows while feeding them peanuts worth of updates.
The game is rubbish and if anyone would ask me if the story has any backbone, I'd say an earthworm would stand straighter than this devs game plot. The MC other than being a horny dumbfuck, has no life goals and his interactions with the women has no impact/ outcome on the surrounding world. The usefullness of the characters in this game is no better than the various NPC's you encounter in an RPG game that give you horseshit quests.

Another thing about this game, is it's flexibility... and by that I mean how well a meager story was stretched that it could give serious competition to spandex. hours and hours of pointless room clicking. Playing hide & seek for hidden cards., and the most (Un)fun part..the torturous mini games, which is a fact when you have to mash ur keyboard to make the MC climb a ladder into his neighbors room, and not once, twice...But four fucking times to climb a ladder.

The only reason this game is still here is because of its visuals & renders. The animations while still looking good, feel linear and robotic and I've definitley seen better in other games.
And lastly, the dev itself looks like he succumbed to the success of his game to the point that he got lazy and doesn't care about his fanbase anymore. Months & months between updates, a year between the last and you can already realize where this is heading.

So, overall..im not sure what to call this game..maybe a generic spineless incest story.....Or better, A Pervert simulator...Overall when you see the ratio of content to time spent, its definitely not worth wasting money or time on. A google image search result of " sexy nude girls" or pornhub's thumbnail page would feel more interesting than this.

What started as a great project few years ago turned out to a mediocre game with some great potential behind.

Pros:
Great CGI and female render
Beautiful girls
Kind of good and engaging story

Cons:
Slow development with little to no updates
Some events are tedious and repetitive

In conclusion the game is nice but not good enough to recommend.

OK renders with your basic semi-visual novel approach. Has annoying button press events but doesn't really give you choice on how to approach things. This might have been cutting edge of lewd games years ago but it really feels clunky and old now.

Story is extremely cliche. May not have been too bad when it came out, but it's been stale for 2 years without updates so new ideas have become old.

Visually, renders and animations are decent. May have been pretty good 3 years ago, but other devs have pushed the limits much further and this is really showing its age.

Game is at high risk of being abandoned. There's precedent with the dev and it went over 1.5 years without update before the dev panicked when the game got an abandoned tag and put out a little 3 minute "update" with barely any content despite claims that he's been working on it the whole time.

Definitely not worth getting invested in if you're the kind of person who hates when their games get abandoned or rushed endings.

Nothing more I could say isn't already in the pages of the forums but I will expand on 2 stars IMO.
There was a time this game had real potential. That's gone. The game once had the possibility of being one of the greats in this emerging market. There is no chance of that now.
It is now dated graphics, not abandoned but as close as you can get to that without quite hitting it, with some shady issues around it, in a market of games that has moved on in quality and quantity of that quality.
I'll give it a 2, for memories of it long ago, but no higher.
It's below average now, across several ways you could rank an adult game, with every indication it can only get worse.
