I downloaded from RPDL, because torrenting is quicker than Mega and other file sharing sites, for the most part. I'm not sure if the other downloads are the same but Windows defender blocked MilfyCity-32.exe for being a trojan.

Already explained thousand times, Windows defender does not like Ren'Py games.
Use VirusTotal if you are not sure, but you can trust it, it's safe.
And replace Windows defender by Avira, you will not be disapointed.

Nope. Use Renpy console. Create a file named options.rpy inside the "game" folder with this content "
define config.developer = True
define config.console = True"

Open the game, press shift + O

Write down inventory.money = 9999
Write exit to leave the console

That's about it
